Suicidal after 3 botched surgeries in Korea. I need help

Recommended Posts

I`m so sorry this happened to you. Pls don`t lose hope. May I ask when you had the three surgeries in Korea & which clinics? A solution for the FG would be Radiofrequency treatments on the face. I know this reduces fat & most surgeons advise against RF treatments after FG so that the fat doesn`t disappear. For the sagging, you could try a threadlift to see if this will help or an endoscopic lower face lift. HTH

No, I would NOT recommend any type of threadlifts, as they do more harm than good, especially because @rosyisgone has a special case here. She needs to consult surgeons who are specialists in reconstructive surgery (probably with experience on patients who had disfiguring accidents like car crashes). She also needs to reach out to other forum members here who had similar botched face surgeries (e.g. @Denyagan ) to ask about their progress and any doctors they recommend.

I recommended the threadlift because it is a less aggressive approach compared to a full face lift which is often recommended post v-line & zygoma surgeries for sagging. That was a good tip with @Denyagan. I found the thread where she details her revision:

I really wish your fat grafted fat settles well and fade away nicely...and i also recommend fillers for even faceline. Dont go under invasive procedures...just do less invasive ones? My heart really breaks for you. I hope you will go through it all well and eventually look and feel better! Don't give up!

Rosy, i actually had the same case with you. I had a nice small face before and ruined my face by undergoing fat graft in DA Clinic. The doctor put too much fats on my face but not the area that needed and it caused sagginess, lumpiness, and the structure of my cute petite face gone forever. That was in 2016. 3 years after i am still fixing the botched job that he did (yes, even until today). I was suicidal and got into depression because i dont look like myself anymore. You can see from my previous posts what happened to me and i’ve been looking for clinic that could help fixing this but it will definitely take time. Hope u are strong enough to go through all this. U can pm me or text me in kakaotalk my id is trishsul. Hang in there girl!

Oh gosh, I'm in the exact same situation. I'm so so sorry to hear that this happened to you too  My doctor put way too much fat in areas that I did not need, changing my small face to a wide fat face. My eyes got smaller too. I used to have bright clear eyes but after fat graft the fat weighs down on my forehead and my eyes look sunken and tiny. I'm so angry that there are other victims to this procedure, honestly some of these practises should be banned. I will PM you

You are most definitely not alone. I literally could have written that exact same post. I had a disastrous rhino that has completely changed my face into someone else. The butcher who operated on me hacked away at my nose and overdid everything. I was left with scarring, asymmetry, and look unnatural at certain angles. It's been several years that I have dealt with the aftermath. Let me tell you that first year was absolute hell, and I was pushed to the brink as well. I'm in a position where I have limited options to correct my issues and I feel stuck in that place where I hate the way my nose looks, but I'm also too scared to risk it again and potentially look worse. At least your family is understanding.

Stay strong, and keep researching but don't let yourself fall into that dark place. I know it's easier said than done.

As far as the fat graft goes, you can try to reduce it with Kenalog / cortisone injections but it has to be done meticulously to not cause depressions in the skin. I've also read of facial liposuction used in these cases, but there are risks with evenness and asymmetry with that. I think depending on how severe your case is, this seems fixable.

I wish everything will be okay with you dear. Please do not loose hope. I have heard fat grafting can be reversed but its obv a litte more difficult operation than to do the fat grafting itself. Please dear, be a little patient and be very critical of the next move you take. Trust yourself life can be absolutely miserable and a real painful journey, fight it cause this is the best thing to do..

@rosyisgone and @Trishsul after 3 fgs at DA in 2016 and 2017 that overfilled my cheeks and distorted my face, I resorted to drastic weight loss from 102 lbs to 96 lbs to lose the fg. Then in Feb 2018 I saw Dr Seo at mvp for full face fg. He fixed my face and gave me back my beauty. It is Oct 2019 and the fg is stable and perfect. I didn't even need a top up and now keep well hydrated, avoid msg and fatty foods for maintenance. If you read my thread you can see how I went from beautiful with mvp to ugly after DA fgs reabsorbed in different places to beautiful again with mvp. MVP full face fgs are around 2.5 mill won so are affordable and imo Dr Seo is an artist at fg.
