Hello everybody!
My story is very long, but if you are interested, stay with me
I did a lot of operations in my life. Most of them done in the AU. Such as rhinoplasty, abdorminal and hip liposuction, breast augmentation. For now im 42 years old, I think its time to stop it and do it for last time)) I considered to get face lifting in Korea this spring-summer, but couldn't decide where to go. I did my own research in google, youtube and finally found a forum. I got a lot of contradictory information about the clinics above. I connected all clinics via e-mail and received enough detailed and quick information from them. The one thing made me confused, price and discounts in all clinics were different for the same procedure. I'm also pritty sure the clinics already inflate their prices automatically for foreigners. I decided not to send any deposit, although almost all clinics insisted to do this, and check by myself during the personal consultation.

Three days ago, I was in Korea with my daughter finally. I was so confused at the airport. Not a lot of people spoke English!!!! Good for us we ordered a transportation service and our driver met us in the airport and took us to the guesthouse. Next day i had a few consultation in several clinics. Even though i had already done other operations before, i was so stressfull. We have been visit Banobagi, ID and JW clinic. I feel that all of this clinics are working proffessional. And buy the way all clinics have a good english speaking tranlators. In reviews from this forum, in house interpreters are not able to communicate well because of poor english and result of surgery can be unpredictable. So I think it's important to know how well the interpreter is doing in the hospital and how well the consultant or doctor can speak English too. Luckily, I met good translator and i didn't have problems with communication! But some parts i didnt like in ID and JW. I think it would be nice if you know about clinics in advance.

1) ID: The waiting time was too long. It took around 1 hour and 30 minutes to prepare our private consultation with doctor. The doctor was in the surgery and we had to wait all time in the consultation room. Also, when I consulted by e-mail, I asked about discount. I wanted to find out who is this person, but I could not find. If you have a price or discount deal when you receive an e-mail consultation, be sure to note the name of the contact person. If you did confirm by e-mail consultatant officer's name it seems that they can guarantee discounts that are e-mailed and request additional discounts while consulting. I was sorry that I could not find the staff who had consulted on my e-mail, and I was also burdened that the counseling staff was pushing for a discount on the same day. ID l was the first consultation hospital and I wanted to look around for more hospitals and moved on to the next JW. I actually booked the JW after the ID but it took too much time in the ID so i was late to JW appointment and I was too tired.

2)JW clinic was a smaller than I thought before. When I saw it on the internet, I thought that the whole building and its look big, but when I saw it in real life it was medium size. Interior was good, but building seemed old. The elevator door was so fast that I was scared. During the consultation i noted that i can get only 10% discount although i expected more then 20%.

3) Banobagi clinic is located in the pritty old building, but interior inside is good. By the way i was pleasantly surprised in Banobagi clinic was a lot of korean patients, which made me more confident that i made the right decision. I strongly sure local people can make research in more detail than foreigners.
Finally in the last Banobagi clinic i got 20 % ( and tax refund around 8 % I could claim in the airport) which very pleased and Dr Barn was very nice and trustable, explaining the all process and details of the operation. He suggested to do face and neck lifting. i fully agreed with his opinion and I was feeling i can trust him. My main concerns was saggy skin of the face a neck. But Dr Barn also asked me about fat graft for my forehead. He explained in detail and honestly that my owen fat can be survive abut 30-40% and i need to repeat this procedure periodecally for keep a good result. Im feeling it is a good idea for me too because my forehead have some wrinkles. In the same day I decided that i woulde stay with this clinic and not because of the price, although this is not an unimportant aspect, but because of the doctor Barn. I noticed no one posted a review about him. I hope my review will help to someone who want to get same surgery in Korea.
My nice consultant, it seems to me her name was Chloe, asked me to fill out a form with my information and take several photos, drew some blood (for blood work). After that once we reached an agreement with the cost, i belive face lifting cost around 8.8 mil KRW and neck lift 4.4 mil and my fat graft for forhead around 1.1 mil. After negotiate a better discount i got 20 % off from the all price, i did all paperwork and payment right now. My consultant set ut surgery for me in two days, as she said drBarn's schedule was fully booked. My surgery appointment was after 2 days 10 morning. To be updated!

p.s. Does anyone know any information about dr Barn? or someone already did the same type of surgery in Korea? Im really curiously.

Great review and great job negotiating. Is that cash price?
I think Dr Barn was the surgeon for Sunnydahye's mom (youtube) or was hers Dr Ban , check it out.
Anyway, Sunnydahye's mom's result was awesome and it seems the aftercare is superb with that huge capsule hyperbaric deswelling machine.

Are you sure you are from Aussie? You have a lot of spelling errors despite being a native English speaker. And you arent even giving out what price you were quoted from ID and JW. Can you tell us what the quotes are like? I don't know why but the thread replies here look like they have subscribed on the same day or some similar dates somehow.
