FRESH plastic surgery RIP OFF

Recommended Posts

Well well well.. looks like this has developed into a very controversial issue, about whether a doctor is board certified or not.
So I did a little research and guess what, most of the lipo places I am interested in at the moment seem to have the same issue, not only Fresh. (I mean, I want to make sure) Funnily enough 365, and Pretty Body I cannot find their board certification, but the big PS clinics like DAPRS and The Line can be found. But I guess their business is legit? I mean look how big 365 is? At the moment I am pretty interested with 365 apart from being one of the most expensively quoted place, but then when I read through their before and after posts and their big various types of fat removal methods, I am reclining toward them.

Also, the more I read the threads in this forum, I don't know why I keep seeing the same person keep posting same bad thing about one clinic sometimes without any pictures or any proof whats wrong and stuff, and it makes me doubt about it.

I mean I love to discuss stuff here and I might as well be posting my before and after photos after I had my surgeries, but I realize now this forum is confusing me A LOT.

I've posted on this forum for years now and I have no beef against this clinic personally -- as in, I've never been there either for a consultation or surgery. However, I will say that their reviews are 100% fraudulent. If you look at the photos and reviews of white Americans (they clearly identify as American in the "comments" section of RealSelf), they are written in broken English and by someone for whom English is clearly not his/her first language. I am aware that many other clinics basically bribe people for reviews. However, they seem particularly dishonest in their methods of advertisement. I actually filed a report with RealSelf because I was so troubled by this. I don't have a problem with people allowing the use of before/after photos for discounts. However, to actually write a review FOR SOMEONE is just... I really think it crosses a line.

Performing plastic surgery while not being board certified is LEGAL in Korea. Maybe those non-board certified doctors can also give great results. It is just my personal preference to select board certified ones, but of course my own likings are irrelevant for other people.

I just feel that it is rather not worth it to choose a non board certified surgeon who charges a lot, while there are board certified surgeons pricing their services for less. But I never asked Fresh for quotes myself, maybe I would get a low price if I did. Or maybe they charge high because they expect patients to bargain down , who knows?

Just saying that choosing a board certified doc is NOT A MUST, and I'm sure many people are satisfied with their results from a non board certified docs, but if you cannot feel comfortable with a doctor who is not a plastic surgery specialist, remember to check his credentials before shortlisting clinics

To be fair it's the same way in the USA as medical doctors can perform plastic surgery as well, I know of a prominent dermatologist who does lipo for example. So Korea isn't alone in this regard.

Yeah Fresh are *******s and overcharge from my experience. I had fat removed from my chin and their aftercare was very poor.. they seem to have a high turnover of staff and each staff member would give a different instruction. I was left with these weird lines under my chin/neck area because they removed too much fat.

What I knew, if you speak other language except Korean, any Korean hospital consultant will rip you off ... they gave you quote always different.... this is my experience.

IT IS LEGAL all over the world, not just in Third World countries. It is legal in UK, USA, Australia you name it. Cosmeticians can do lipo, inject fillers etc. If you look at the qualifications of some doctors they may even start out in dentistry and change over to the more lucrative cosmetic field.
Problem is, I've found the Board Certified Doctors in USA, UK, Australia, 75% do not have the 'aesthetic' eye. I find their results ho-hum! I want someone to give me the 'WOW' look so in the end it's up to you what you choose.

The English translators are brutal yeah. There seems to be a high turn over of them. Sorry i can't give the name of a translator but I would cut my losses with them if i were u. I had jaw and under chin lipo there..'v line'& was unimpressed. Took too much fat from my chin-neck area &when I raised concern they were like "oh well of course it will look like that when fat that was there is now gone.." - as if the bands/stretched look that developed was a normal outcome. Suggested I massage the area......
Said I could have worn the head bandage too long but I wore it as per instruction. I was under the impression they were doing buccal removal and they didn't. Anyway, poor communication will stress u more & then they'll react with rudeness in frustration. Not worth it. Can't recall what I paid..about 3 mill maybe. And my jaw line is not defined. Waste of money. Try Dream clinic.
