My orthodontist feels likes he can correct my teeth with braces with the x-ray, but I know I need the CT. I know I would probably benefit from having the crossbite and midline fixed, but will these risks outweigh the benefits? I'm thinking for me, no, though I could do the DJ if I really wanted. Ms Orange I am glad to hear that you had a similar experience and it turned out good for you. That makes me feel more secure about avoiding the jaw surgery.
