I notice that Korean clinics usually do tapered creases. I am looking for higher parallel creases. If anyone has done such creases, please let me know which clinic is doing it. Thanks!

Personally, if a clinic is too pushy, one should wait before making a decision.

As for guillibility, if an employee of a clinic tells a patient that he or she is using his/her own money to buy the patient some soup, would anyone believe it?LOL!!!

 

Angleplane, glad that you know me. Your frank reviews have made me think twice about rib rhinoplasty.

 

I am one of those you mentioned who made short comments - I am not working for any clinic. In fact, I am in US right now and will be going to Seoul tonight before going back to Europe where I live. I have nothing to offer by way of experience of rib rhinoplasty so I cannot make long comments and I do not have the time to have rhino now (in fact, my next week in Seoul is devoted to MBA studies) so all I can do now is researching. I shall leave now and not even comment anymore just so that nobody has the wrong idea and be suspicious of the the wrong person.

 

Where do you all exchange your currency? At the airport?

So having a 'noble' rhinoplasty means to have pieces of cartilage placed around the nose to lift up the area? Isn't it a very drastic way to augment a nose? And very troublesome to remove if the patient is not happy with the look? I think some people do not need all these cartilages to look nice, just look at the video of Heidi.

 

Item clinic has an agent in Singapore and she wrote to me that the doctor from Item went to Singapore to see patients and she told me that the docs can speak English.

 

But a bit older, ya? Or is it just me...

 

What about the eyes, will the pulled-up eyes or stretched eyes be normal again, like before rhinoplasty, after sometime?

 

Referring to the girl in the video, I wonder if the upturned nostrils are actually contraction caused by the implant?

I don't believe people there expect such treatment. In my opinion, it is more likely the clinics view such as a business concern, the more in-and-out, the more patients they see, the more money they make. PS is common here in LA too but docs here, no matter how crowded , still give you time to ask questions.

 

Ah, that is a difficult question........I think the easier the access to the surgeon the better because you can pop in anytime should there be anything cropping up during the post-op period. And there are people not satisfied with their op done in Korea too. I myself would prefer somewhere where they are not churning out patients like a factory. I would choose one with modern clean facilities and a good surgeon who cares. Maybe those of you who have been to one can recommend?

Thank you for your posts - you show us the other aspects of the surgeries which many people may not want to say or unaware of.

Glad that you are able to get back what you like.

 

Destiny1682, you are so right. I have been told that once you get your nose done, it is no longer the same even if you remove the implant. And the care you have to give thought to if you have something added to the bridge is too troublesome. I agree that if there is no need of a rhino job, don't do it.

 

Me too - I am curious to know how they get the eyes to be so big...and wonder which clinic is doing it?
