actually, if you have access to naver forums, or a korean friend, you will notice that a lot of bad reviews purposefully leave out the name of the clinic for fear of being sued. (so i've been told anyways) naver accounts require a SSN to register, so reviewers are easily found if a clinic pursues legal action.
a few years ago somebody translated a bad review about vip clinic where the reviewer did not name vip clinic, but instead used characters on the keyboard that were beside the characters in 'vip' to discretely name the clinic
though it does sound sketchy to make the claim that jw would sue a chinese citizen residing in china
there is definitely more to the story than we are hearing. i think that first of all, jw's after photos were taken too soon while there was still swelling so its not fair to compare to her own photos taken much later. but even then, it looks completely different from her own photos.
it looks like she got botox done afterwards to narrow her jaw even further, which revealed how badly jw ****ed up her jawbone. if she had not had botox, her large jaw muscles would have masked most of the asymmetry and she never would have had that xray which revealed the botched bonework
just a theory. but its also possible that she did not have botox done and her jaw was hugely swollen in jw's after photos
but the fact remains that jw did a really bad job on her
that's only as bad as forum members sharing my photos without my permission... i have not given you access to my photo albums so how did you see them?
at least when its on vips computers, they don't copy and paste the files to whoever wants them. on the other hand, its kinda obvious that you guys are duplicating my photos even though I explicity stated several times not to do so.
its kinda strange because both the person you quoted and veritaspeak have had their posts removed and their accounts deleted. in the other thread the moderator posted this yesterday:
i wonder who it was that created those two accounts and why they've been faking details? if that person had actually been to that clinic before, why don't they just post their actual experience instead of faking multiple accounts?
you make some good points, BUT
you have basically just confirmed for a lot of people that if they get a bad result, then they are better off not posting in the forums because some people will be incredibly rude and say that they are lying unless they post photos of the damage, which they are obviously not comfortable sharing.
i know somebody who is not happy with her surgery result and is not willing to post a clinic review for reasons similar to what i outlined above.
and she did answer one of your questions: she is under no obligation to report to this forum immediately after she realizes that she has had a botched surgery. she has other things to consider:
has all the swelling gone away? (can sometimes be hard to determine)
is it possible that the clinic will try to fix the problem? she spent time trying to contact the clinic. obviously she will not post a review during this time because it would damage her relationship with the clinic if they saw her posts. they probably do see the posts because shane77 knew about these forums and he used to work for ID. do you think that he only found out about tpf after leaving ID? he probably did some advertising (on this website maybe?) while working for ID before he tried to start his website. his specialty seems to be advertising and earning commission so think that it is quite likely.
1. if she met with shane77,then she probably met some other ppl that shane met as well. you should ask them to find out.
2. you think that her posts are fake because she took too long to respond to ppl's questions? -_-
your other questions are valid though, and i would be interested in hearing the answer as well
i do not find that suspicious bc she never claimed she took the photos and they are publicly available. she has only used stock photos from the internet so far in her diary so its consistent
on the other hand, ilt looks like gabrielion did not even bother to translate the post that she quoted before posting her machine-translated spam
i think its really brave of you to make a blog. i know a few people who have had botched surgeries and they decided to stop posting on the forum and not inform the forum about their bad results. and i understand that they may not want to go through all the trouble and attention so i commend you for making a blog.
imo you do not need bridge augmentation; your nose bridge is high enough already. besides, the doctor would have to harvest quite a bit more cartilage for the bridge which could possibly leave you ear looking a bit strange.
i think that just a tiplasty is good so that you will not have to use foreign implants.
but why compare goretex to injectables(botox)?
when people get nose jobs, they usually use an implant. a
maybe goretex has a higher infection rate than injected silicone (i'd want to see controlled medical studies about it before ), but it still seems to have a lower infection rate than silicone implants.
i agree with this. if a doctor offers L-shaped silicone implants after the year 2010, then do not go to that doctor. since surgeons nowadays can achieve a very good result using I-shaped silicone, a doctor that uses L-shaped silicone is just pure lazy and unethical
as a last resort, you can try to find a paid nurse or care-worker. maybe if you have relatives or friends with relatives in china, you can arrange or pay for them to help you.
