  1. For me, what I did was screen shot/print out a bunch of advertised prices from other clinics and bring it to the clinics I wanted to get done at. This shows you know the range of the market price. My rhinoplasty was for 3.5m krw and 9.5m krw for facial contour. Usually if you do an "image" search of the surgery you want done you'll see a bunchhhhh of promo pics. My friends in Korea says depending on the clinic is should only be around 1m krw to get eyelid surgery.. ($1000USD)

  2. I can say that most of the things said in this review is true as I know someone who went to Cinderella and received the same treatment. The results were evident but the doctor was very uninterested and you actually feel how much they just want money from you because they will rush you to get the surgery. After surgery here is pretty much only another visit to get your stitches removed and no other aftercare.

  3. of course! plastic surgery clinics encourage you to bring 8x11 size pictures because sometimes there could be miscommunication especially if you don't speak korean. I brought about 6 pictures of Red velvet's Irene for my nose and jaw line. they will tell you your limitations and overall point out what can or can't be done.

  4. I heard Tox N Fill gives you a really over done look.

The most famous plastic surgery clinic for any type of fillers is kodi plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam exit 10.

A lot of Korean you tubers go there for full face and lip filling. I plan to go this May

Videos: you won't be understand what they're saying but if you skip through you can see the before and after, they clinic, the doctors, and how great the results are! In the first video you can see a clear glass case of how many filler boxes they have and have gone through because they're so popular

  5. Recently theres been a lot of negative posts on this forum about GNG (botched surgeries) so I'm not sure if this has anything to do with that but GNG just advertised a never before seen low price for a full facial contour package at 5,500,000 KRW approx.

    ~$5000 USD

THATS CRAZY.. my Koreans friends tell me the average cost for facial contour is 7~12 mil krw

I paid 9 mil krw for mine

but wow. just wanted to share.

  6. Its because they think we don't know the local prices and so they want to take advantage of us.

I got my vline and zygoma reduction for 9 mil krw total and rhinoplasty for 3.5 mil krw. I was originally quoted 5-9 mil krw for each area (cheek, chin, jaw) and 4-7 million krw for rhinoplasty from different clinics when I first contacted them using English. Then I created a new ID on kakao and messaged them again in Korean and got the lower prices.

Its unfair but do your research and keep bargaining.

  7. I like to look at the blog websites of the plastic clinics I'm interested in. There are usually progress photos at 3 days, 14 days, 1 month, 4 months, 6 months, etc. I usually find before and after pictures on the website a little too dramatic and maybe a little photoshopped.. however, the blog photos are more real. Looking at the blog website of GNG led me to not choose them for facial contour and the blogs of Cinderella and View helped me choose them instead. Also, adding ladies on from this forum on kakaotalk helps also! A lot of girls here were kind enough to send their pictures privately and gave me their honest opinions of their procedures, doctors, and clinics. Hope this helps.

  8. I read many many manyy people's lasek experiences on reddit and blog posts about the "excruciating" pain!

I think I'm one of the lucky ones but I experienced very little pain throughout the first 4 days even though Dr. Kim said I WOULD experience pain.

The first day: my surgery was at 5pm. I rested for about 10 minutes in the clinic, took the pills they gave me and left. I actually walked around gangnam with my mom after the surgery. We went to daiso, muji and had dinner. My eyes would go from focused and clear to blurry, on repeat. I was able to use my phone to googlemaps the subway route back to my airbnb.

The second day: Woke up not being able to read anything from my phone. It was just way too blurry. I felt pain 3 times that day. Each time it lasted about 1 minute and all 3 times it was in my left eye. There were tears streaming down that one eye and it was like I had an eyelash lost somewhere in there but in reality there was none. That was just what it felt like. Irritating but manageable. I went out after 2-3pm.

Third day: woke up quite sensitive to the sunlight coming through my windows this day so finally decided to stay home. Still can't really use my phone because its still blurry.

Fourth day: Was able to somewhat use my phone this day, went out after 3-4pm to myeongdong. no pain. no sensitivity. was a ok.

Fifth day: went back to glory eye clinic to get out my protective lenses. was given new prescription of eye drops. Was able to use my phone this day.

I would say it'll be smart to buy bottled water and food ahead of time but its totally not that bad, you'd be able to walk there even after surgery. Where ever your hotel or airbnb may be, there WILL be a convenience store within 500 meters distance from you. That's Seoul.

Also, I never used sunglasses during these first five days because 2 weeks prior I had just gotten rhinoplasty.

I just used a bucket hat, currently very fashionable in Seoul haha:
