Jamasian! The result of your rhinoplasty is worth it! You have a very good nose before (though side view only), and now, it looks good in front view too! I also the fact that it looks natural.

Curiiious is right, you got a very even tone skin. I wonder what you use on your face. Hihihi

The costs for the surgery varies according to the method of operation. In my case, the doctor chose not to break the bones and placed an I shaped silicone implant over the dorsum. He used septal cartilage grafts to raise the tip of the nose, so there is no risk of extrusion at the tip the way one might have it with a L shaped silicone implant. He also did an weir excision to make the shape of the nostrils symmetrical and slimmer. The spot where he cut to open the nose, only 9 days after surgery has a light pink blemish. it's barely noticeable and the blemish will disappear entirely in a few months. The areas for the weir excision are hard to see as well.

Total cost for surgery was $3,500,000 KRW (Korean Won). I locked in an exchange rate of 1100 KRW per $1 USD, by purchasing the currency from my bank prior to leaving the US. The surgery cost me $3181 .82. The fees also include a post op care kit, but the antibiotics and post swelling meds were a little extra, probably around $20 USD. Don't recall the exact amount but being surprised at how inexpensive it was...

Banobagi's website is in Korean with no option for English. During my research phase, I copied and pasted the website links into Google Translator which was pretty helpful. It was a lot more complicated than other Korean surgeon sites that translate into English website, but the before and after portfolio at the Banobagi website features more patient outcomes and very happy patient written reviews. Also, Dr. Lee has his own personal blog on the website and you can see his patient blog their own before and after experiences and how much they love him.

Sunny is an amazingly warm and compassionate person; she attended school in Englad so her English is perfect. She will help english speaking patients through every step of the process from beginning to end. She was literally in holding my hand while the nurse set up the IV drip. The center will give you everything you need for post op care including gel ice packs, gauze, q tips, antibiotics, ointment to apply to the stiches, peroxide to clean the nose, even pumpkin juice to help with the normal post op swelling!

The surgery center rivals the best of the best facilities I visited in Beverly Hills. Dr. Lee's patient outcomes even exceed, in my opinion, some of the before and after pics you'll see for asian rhinoplasty on famous Dr. 90210 surgeon websites. Banobagi Plastic Surgery and Beauty Center is immaculately clean and the staff is committed to excellence. They will greet you enthusiastically every time you arrive and leave. They will also ensure that you are not ever waiting too long and are always comfortable. They run an outstanding center and you can feel confident that you will be well cared for. Jamasian, thank you for sharing us your experience about your procedure under Dr. Lee. I am one of the waiting member here who wants to see your before and after pics. I have few questions though, how much is rhinoplasty under Dr Lee? Is it a silicone or a gore-tex transplant?

Would you rather pay less and deal with the possibility of getting your surgery redone? It seems better to take the time you need to save. Don't cut costs with your face, because damage could be permanent.

A poster at Cozycot had a rhinoplasty they didn't like at ID, then had it redone by Jung a week later. ID isn't bad, but they specialize in facial bone contouring not rhinoplasties. It's best to go to a doctor that is known for doing one or two surgeries very well, as opposed to a general doctor that may do many types of surgeries mediocre. Also, there were other posters on Cozycot that regretted having their surgeries done in places other than Korea. Their revisions were done by Korean doctors.

Hi guys,

I am happy that there is such forum like this discussing bout nose job.
I am filipina and want to have a nosejob. Since I did about 20-30 pages of backreading in this thread, I summed it up that Dr Jung of Korea would be the best. but thinking about my budget, I don't think he's gonna be my final option.

A friend of mine also wants to have a nosejob, and she told me about Yanhee hospital in Thailand. she said Doctors there are good in nosejob and would only cost $1,300 - 1,500 and she wants me to go with her.

Now, I am confuse. Any one of you knows Yanhee?

What about in Taiwan?
