  1. If you already have round eyes and the surgeon advised you don't need it, i'd listen to him. 1mm is very small and wouldn't make a difference esp since you already have round eyes. Lateral is done to achieve rounder doll-like eyes or get rid of the upward slant that some ppl have (ie. Lucy lui). So i think in your case, i would save the money and recovery time for lateral esp if the most incision he could do is only 1 mm.

  2. Do not go to Dream clinic for eye revision!! I know someone who did their eye revision and resulted with asymmetry and permanent epi scar. Plus, it's crowded and patients felt very rushed from what i heard directly.

  3. Thanks for the tips! So, as far as price and skill, which clinic and dr. would you recommend for eyelid revision?

Have you heard anything about teuimps?

  4. Hey, how did ur consultation with bk and banobagi go? Which clinic did u do your surgery at? How are your results? Please let me know for im looking to go in june this year! Thanks

  5. Thanks for the quick reply! Hope everything goes well with your surgery

  6. Hey Mrs. Asian,

-What procedure are you seeing him for?
-Are you seeing any other surgeons or are you set on BK?
-How much did he quote you? (I wanna see if he charges foreigners more just because they aren't natives to korea)
-How long are you gonna be in korea?

I'm planning to go in June for double eyelid revision and magic epi. Please let me know how your visit goes. Keep in touch

  7. Hey! How did your revision surgery go with Dr. Kim? I was planning to get a consultation for a revision with him in the summer but i was a bit hesitant because of the nasty reviews i've read about him. People were saying different things about Dr. Kim from being not as attentive to his patients to having a unsatisfied results and overcharging people.

If you don't mind sharing your recent experience, please let me know how the procedure went and how you felt his personal bedside manners were and your outcome results. It would help out a lot.

Hope you have a fast and speedy recovery! I hope your results are coming out as expected. Thanks

  8. How come they don't tell you which doctors specialize in what? Doesn't make sense to me. How much did they quote your eyelid revision? I'm considering banobagi for consultation as well. Do you have their email address? Do they speak and understand english?

    Thanks!

  9. Hi, what procedure are you going to get done if you don't mind me asking and also how much did he quote u on price?

I am also planning on getting a consultation from him too and was wondering how yours went.

    Thanks

  10. Hi,

If you are concerned about people noticing the metals and you aren't price conscious, i'd recommend invisalign (clear retainer-like plastic that is fitted into your mouth). You wear it all the time except when u eat and brush your teeth. It's generally around $5k depending on the severity of your teeth.

But if that's too expensive, i'd go with the clear ceramic braces. Unless, you're a heavy coffee drinker/smoker/etc, i wouldn't worry about it staining especially if you take care of your teeth and brush regularly. It's about the same price as the metal ones.

I had metal braces as a young teenager and i didn't like the fact it was noticeable. But since i was young, it didn't really matter much. Also, after u get your braces off, recommend to get a permanent retainer, which they glue on the inside of your teeth. Totally unnoticeable and feels like you don't have it on. That way it'll ensure your teeth from shifting over the years, in which case mine have. I'm thinking of getting braces again because of this and this time i'm going to get the permanent retainer put in.

    Hope this helps

  11. Have you gotten in contact with banobagi? I tried emailing them about a week ago and no one replied back. Do you know how much they charge for revisional eyelid and magic epi?

  12. Maytam, so far i have 2dr's for sure in mind but i'm looking for more so nothing is set in stone..still researching:

*Dr. Kim (BK) --too pricey but i've consulted with him many times online and he's known for revisional eyelid correction but he's soo expensive!!

*Dr. Kwon (Teuimps)--planning to get magic epi and since he invented it, i'd want a skilled dr for minimal scarring. If done wrong, scarring is very visible and doesn't go away (my friend lucked out and now has a visible scar permanently)

Have you heard anything about Dr. Min Goo Lee (Apgujung Seoul Plastic Surgery) or CJ cosmetics?? Heard both specialize in eyelid revision as well.
I'm planning to get medial epi and lateral canthoplexy...do u know of any good dr's specializing in that as well and how much they charge?? What procedure(s) are you getting done?

  13. Hey Reiyuna, i'm from U.S. I haven't heard anything about banobagi..are they good with revisions? Since this is my second time, i'm really hesitant and careful on who i choose. My ultimate decision will be after i get a consultation in person. How much is banobagi's revisional eyelid?

  14. So far, i'm leaning with dr. kim but i haven't heard of any reviews or results from #2 and 3...let me know how the consultations go!

  15. Hey Maytam,

I have 3 dr's lined up for consultation so far:

Dr. Kim (BK) -free 7 day stay at the clinic but his costs are steep
    Dr. Park (Oz)- reasonable price
Dr. Kwon (Teuimps)- invented magic epi, reasonable price

All 3 have pretty good reviews regarding revisional eyelid surgery. Dr. Kwon invented magic epi and i wanted to do that procedure along with my revision eyelid. So i was highly interested in consulting with him. I've heard and seen ppl who have done magic epi (not by Dr. Kwon) and left a noticeable scar or weren't satisfied with their results.

Magic epi is irreversible so i want to make sure i get it done correctly with no mistakes the first time that's why i'm leaning more towards Dr. Kwon.

The dr's i've listed above are mainly my opinion based on reviews ive read for revisional eyelid surgery and magic epi only so everyone might have the same opinion as i do.

When are you looking at scheduling your consultation? What procedure(s) are you getting done? Let me know how it goes

  16. Hey let me know how your surgery goes....i was planning to get a consultation with Dr. Kwon in june for eyelid revision. I wanna also do medial and lateral epi. I heard he invented magic epi and was just concerned about scarring and whether it'll fade away. My friend's medial epi left a scar on one eye so im a lil hesitant.

Anyways, good luck with your procedure and let me know how it turns out

  18. Can anyone recommend me a meticulous and skilled plastic surgeon in korea who specializes in eyelid revision? I also wanna do medial and lateral epi. I'm planning to go in a few months and so far i am looking into consulting with in no specific order:

    1) Dr. Park (Oz Clinic)
    2) Dr. Kim (BK)
    3) Dr. Kwon (Teuimps)

Has anyone gotten their eyes done by any of these dr's in the last 6months? If so, can you please help me out and tell me about your experience, precodure(s), cost, and results? PLEASE PLEASSSSE HELP :woohoo: Thanks so much.
