  1. Ya bro.. I will also share my frds experience with Dr shin & Dr Hong bkclinic.
I recommend them to bkclinic last 2 weeks ago base on ur recommendation too. They are heading Seoul on 2nd Oct.

  2. Hi SheOnlyLook

Yes Dr Chung is very much on local Korean business. His website have only Korean words n chinese. If u unable to read Chinese then gonna click on pic to see before n after photos. I also did the same. Hence honestly speaking alot of other clinic did photoshop on website but Eve aesthetic surgery clinic website does not have any photoshop. Becoz u can see his patients photo was taken with bruises after few days post ops.. This is something that I like about his honesty.

  3. Oh.. Bro Shane, u have a sharp face profile now.. Slimmer ya! Oh your nose still got silicone wor.. Initially I thought is dermis graft..
Ya maybe dermis graft can't give a very define contour so silicone plus dermis graft give a greater result .. Ur nose indeed look great even though it's still swelling ... I don't wanna any foreigner implant, only keen in dermis graft n rib so Dr kao told me honestly dermis graft alone cannot give a definite bridge contour so he advise rib graft, I'm lucky that end up I don't need any implant after silicone removal.. I'm happy with my curve bridge from lateral n side profile view. But maybe im Asking for perfection. I find my front view without any implant I don't have that 3D profile lOok..

Good thing is that it look nature, my frds say right now my nose look harmony n cute so I will just stay with it..

  4. Hi Bro Shane...

I'm fortunate enough that i dont need rib graft coz my radix wasn't too low to support my tip projection.. My bro went for rib rhino.. Hmm I'm surprise that his wound was v small 0.5-1cmm. I think Dr skill really plays a part too..

Oh I saw your nose n cheek post earlier. Waa that's alot of diff on ur cheek bone reduction... U look so much better.. Don't know how to describe.. The curve part on cheek is totally gone ya! Ur nose also look very natural .. No more Silicone straight implant contour, it's now a slight curve bridge! Nice !! :woot:

  5. Hi butternpancake

Ya.. I seen Dr kao website too. I do agreed with u that his work on patients the nose tip is round.. Personally I think round tip (not bulbous) will make a person look younger. As for the bridge thickness, dr kao mention he can carve the rib graft thinner to suit me if I want. Anyway if im not wrong, i still remember there was once in purseforum patients did reveal that VIP website nose photo got photoshop before, because there is one patient photo was post on VIP website. The patients realize her photo in VIP website has been photoshop wor. I believe Dr kao do not have time to hire or do photoshop on his blog ya.. He is busy running 2 hospital in taipei...

  6. Hi Butternpancake

Yes.. I understand what u mean, yup I will bring 3 diff celebrity nose pic to Dr Kao. I choose those nose pic base on similar face profile & nose as mine so that it will match my face better too... Waa dr kao did free double chin for ur frd? Your frd was really lucky!

Yup dr kao is very paitence n friendly in email. Total correspond email with him I think got 60 over emails ba.. He never failed to reply me with gd explaination. I really amired his level of patience.

When I mean implant contour visibility is like both side of nose bridge (Radix + upper dorsum area) showing very dark shadow along the side of bridge line.. This will make a person look very haggard & obvious nose job done.

  7. Hi milyway

I wanna remain my septal & ear cartilage on my nasal tip, but I ever consult a few dr, they mention my dorsum bridge may be too low to support my current nose tip projection.. So need implant on bridge.. even though this was what I heard from most dr advise on me but I still wanna seek for dr kao's advise about this issue, I wish I can remove silicone implant without any replacement.

  8. Hi butternpancake

Oh really appreciates your effort for sharing so much of your frd's experience with us. Ya when corresponding in emails with Dr kao I always will try to understand what he is trying to advise me. I will also do the same when face to face consultation with him.Only thing is that I really want this to be my last revision. There are many prons n cons on own rib cartilage too.. Even though research n advise from Dr kao seems that rib cartilage is the best for me le but after Faithfully7725 had shared with me her past bad experience with rib graft contour visiblity issue I'm kinda of
Worried the same issue might happens on me coz I have a v thin skin now becoz of silicone implant so I wonder if I use rib cartilage will I face implant contour visiblity too... :crybaby:

  9. Hi London_Chick

Thanks for your advise. Yup I drop down my question for dr kao too.
Oh dermis skin graft is from butt area. Like what Shane has did. Actually the only disadvantage of this graft is its 20-30% absorption however its more suitable for ppl who only needs a little height on nasal bridge then dermis graft will works well on them. My problem originally is I had a upturned short nose
Dorsum height was not that high so after I remove silicone I may need 2-3mm implant to support my nasal tip graft (septal+ear cartilage) so Dermis graft might not give me that amount of support. Since u only need 1mm height , dermis skin graft may works for u.

  10. Hi London_Chick

Asian skin usually are thicker than Caucasian, that's why some Asian skin can tolerate Silicone longer. Unfortunately my skin is thinner & my previous dr gave me 3mm implant maybe too big for my nose that cause my skin scratch. Im going to consult Dr kao then decide whether to remove silicone without replacement or go for rib graft rhinoplasty revision.

Originally I have a short nose & upturned nose appearance, my septal cartilage alone is not enough for my nose tip so I use Ear cartilage as well. So currently I do not have enough septal cartilage for bridge augmentation. Hence Ear cartilage is not a good graft support for bridge as its original graft is a curve shape so will cause irregular contour. It will only works well on nasal tip augmentation.

Usually caucasian has more septal cartilage than Asian, if u r caucasian u may have enough septal for bridge ya. Or if u can do without silicone just mainly augment your nasal tip with septal n ear cartilage that will be the best. If u really need that 1mm support , u can consider Dermis graft on bridge.

I'm heading to Taiwan on 23rd Aug.. 2 more days to go ya..I'm so worried...:faint:

  11. Hi faithfully

Yes any removal of implant ( Any Type of Implant) within 6mths will cause contracture. Becoz of scar tissue forming .

  12. Hi itskristin

I would like to share with u... I understand everyone have budget when comes to spending. However, those price that u mention here are average quotation for reputable hospital. Although there r many other clinic In Seoul which offer abit lower. I would advise that u try save enough to go to a reputable hospital than choosing smaller clinics that meets your budget because you are risking yourself to a 50-50% result too. Why not do it with the reputable one once n for all? Revision work is always cost higher & waste of money, hence result may not be as gd as a successful primary surgery. Most Importantly, facing trauma in failure are very depressing. Please consider wisely ya

I will send u a PM, this may help u.

  13. Hi Cherryzz. I had sent u my photos in email Le. Trust me don't give up.
I been through what u r experiencing now. Although till now at times i still think my primary eyelid look so much better n prettier. However, we have to move on..Just keep telling urself there is Always hopes out there. Let this be the last revision... Look forward, don't look back anymore...Jia you!

  14. Hi Taeyang

Ya I agreed with you. Me also come across this explaination in google search. I think I really have to try my luck again le. Thanks for sharing!

  15. Hi Spykcu,

Actually if the silicone in my nose don't show it's color orangie under light, i Don't think I will go for rib Rhinoplasty revision. Because its now showing implant Contour visibility & can see orangie color that shows my skin is thinning badly as I'm only 4mths post ops from my primary rhino. I research silicone will thin the skin as time goes by, it will only worsen my situation. I'm considering either to go for rib rhino or totally remove my silicone remain my septal & ear cartilage on my tip if i won't face any contracture or upturned nose after removing implant.
I'm just a unlucky one when comes to surgery :nogood:

  16. Hi Cherryzz

Levator muscle correction is a surgery to strengthen your eyelid muscle. So that ur eyelid can open wider when u open the eyes. Those people who have ptosis correction also did the same surgery. My eyelid revision was an incision method
Remove some skin(Old fold) & create a new incision fold. No fat grafting on eyelid. My healing tooks me 2 weeks for major swelling to go down & then follow by full 3mths to become natural.

My primary Eyelid surgery was done in SG mount elizabeth JJ Chua, crease was
Very natural but asymmetrical. I dont think he remove any orbital fats or skin for me. Just cut n stitch back. Follow by 3 yrs later I go Taiwan Wishclinic ended up with a failed eyelid, incision was make too high & deep. Result in weaken my levator muscle. 3rd surgery revision was with Dr Kim byung gun , bkclinic. I'm Sorry I do not have previous primary surgery photo with eyes close. however I can send u all 1st-3rd eyelid revision photo with eyes open. Thank u!
