that's true, cause when I went to regent they asked me a few times
are you alone, I asked her what did she mean o I get it
then she knows what she price she can give me.....
I went to seoul last month. this is mine second trip
I was doubting to have mandible reduction and cheekbone reduction.
Finally I just chose for mandible reduction. Cause the dr. Lee said that mine cheekbone are
very prominent and skin sagging is for sure.
I visit different clinics regent, everm clinic and idea clinic (not id clinic)
I did not choose for regent because it was crowded with people and very busy.
I thought they cant give me enough attention, I want to be treated with care, cause its mine face.
I did not choose everm it was very difficult to find and it was a very small clinic
they did not gave me a good impression.
(there was just one patient and the clinic was very small)
I consult at idea, (I did mine first surgery at idea for mine nose and stem cell)
I asked them about the correction of mine nose (mine nose is slightly crooked)
they would correct mine nose with fat for free.
I only choose for mandible. They also gave me a good price.
Its not crowded at idea they have enough doctors there and staff.
They treated me very well like the first time.
I read someone mentioned she had a translator to translate your needs for the nurse.
I also had a translator who stayed the whole night and the nurse, I totally forget to mention it.
The pain after and swelling is tougher then I thought. (cause first time I only did mine nose with dermis and fat grafting for mine face)
The third day I had the most pain, but i could handle it (but i thought it would not hurt a bit)
There is also a pain in your throat. Im at two and half week post.
Still swollen everybody can see ( but i did not tell them i had an operation)
I will give an update later
can anyone give an update about the operation they have had about
cheekbone reduction or v line
does anyone experience sagging or pain
u can also pm
I really want to do v line and cheekbone reduction
thanks for the information
what are you planning to do
and can you tell me what is western prices ? how much does it cost
and which email do you use to mail them
u can private pm me
A doctor with the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons said the double-jaw procedure took off around four years ago when a Seoul dental clinic ran a major ad campaign promoting the cosmetic benefits. As it became popular, plastic surgeons began offering the surgery, causing the price to fall and making it more affordable.
A recent study estimated the procedure had been performed 5,000 annually, but it did not differentiate between cosmetic and medically prescribed operations.
Some 52 percent of those who had taken the surgery suffered sensory problems such as facial numbness, the study said.
Shin Hyon-Ho, a medical malpractice lawyer in Seoul, said he had seen cases where the surgery had resulted in chronic jaw pain, a skewed mouth, misaligned teeth and an inability to chew or smile.
He said: 'The number of plastic surgery-related cases is growing ... with complications becoming more serious.'
This was illustrated last August when a 23-year-old killed herself after having double jaw surgery. She left a suicide note explaining her desperation after the surgery had left her unable to chew food or stop crying due to nerve damage in a tear duct.
The doctor from the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, who would not be identified, told international news service AFP: 'If we are seeing more complications, that's largely because the sheer number of people getting the surgery has increased rapidly in such a short period of time.
'Yes, it was originally invented to correct a dental deformity, but you can't blame someone for getting the surgery to look good, especially in a place like the South where beauty, especially for women, pretty much trumps it all.'
im sure not ok with the doctors
but im afraid most of them will do that.
a while ago I read about a Chinese boy who looked like Daniel wu
did plastic surgery in Taiwan. He was complaining his face was ruined
but when I looked at it I though it was just a little bit
not symetrcial.
hope you will be feeling better after a while, maybe your face is not as bad as you said,
cause most people don't have a symmetrical face, and maybe its not too oblivious
you mentioned you already looked beautiful, so now u maybe just look a little less beautiful.
Yes I think plastic surgery is a all about luck, cause I think at most the hospital
not the doctor (well known doctor ) will be doing your operation.
I hope more people will stand up and tell there story,
I wish you all the best, good luck
this is the link i got where you can complain
see if this helps
