Shiyin1012,, can you please share if you had lateral canthoplasty revision???
the dry eye syndrom is pretty serious condition, very big discomfort and I am trying to understand if it can be fixed by latheral canthoplasty revision? or eyedrops only... I think I have read somewhere on the forum there were very simple surgery to reverse lateral canthoplasty but successful.

  2. Thank you for response missy_sana! There is no need to be judgmental and make conclusion as if I have a Dismorphic Disorder!
In this forum I have never aggressively attacked or blamed any member for advise or information provided!
On the opposite I am very grateful to Smitten Kitten and MissOrange for their responses and support to girls here. They always responded and gave information when asked. Sorry I asked you! Exactly responses of Smitten Kitten and MissOrange made up my mind to go to Korea. I am very happy with results. I have never had surgeries in Russia! Central Asia is NOT Russia. There are many negative reviews of work by Charles Lee from Beverly Hills, California. I read some girls here asking why he was still practicing plastic surgeries in the USA. So, I am not the only who had revisions after his half-done works. MissOrange in her blog of looking great after 50s has mentioned that your first plastic surgery is never the last ;)... And I agree. I am happy with work made by Wonjin and Hyundai Mihak surgeons.
I myself work in surgery as a surgery nurse and I understand the world of surgery. I have talked to one plastic surgeon who changed his work specification exactly because of peculiarities of working with ladies. I had great surgeons in Wonjin: one - for skin, - nose and - eyes. Noone of them overpromised or done anything unprofessional! Every surgeon listened to me attentively and told what should and could be done. If anyone asked my before/after pictures I would share! It is a big difference! I kept in mind that I could come back within a year and remake surgery if I am unhappy but there is always reasonable limits dictated by nature and own anatomy, so many factors. Surgeons in Wonjin did exactly what was promised! and they all made a perfect job. But you see the results after everything healed and I saw there were still some tiny things to make things even better. The nose hump was nicely shaved off and my nose became straight but the widening in the area of nose hump was still there. So, I went back and the surgery was remade as guaranteed by the great surgeon of Wonjin. My eye doctor was on maternal leave and me and my translator have misunderstood the possibility of the eye reshaping. We thought something could be done with eye bone socket... And now as MissOrange mentioned after 40 my face became bony narrow, which I like to some extend, but the fat grafting would probably rejuvenate my face.
Working with surgeons I personally see there are many talented surgeons who do not have good bedside manners, but their results are perfect!

The liplift is a great surgery but again it works very individually. I saw pictures before/after on Dr Mascaro site - the difference is hardly seen and very subtle. I just wanted to communicate to a "real" patient who crossed the ocean to do the surgery with him. But I did not pressure on you. I was patient and was waiting for response thinking we do not know the dynamics of life of the others.
but I was not passive-agressive in my request.
    Thanks for dismorphic disorder ;)!

  3. @missy_sana Will you please kindly share your experience with Dr Mascaro?!
how was the surgery? Anything positive, negative please...

  4. Hello MissOrange, I have apptmt w/ Dr. Mascaro. You have mentioned your friend and she was happy and satisfied dear. May I please ask if she would share her picture with me? I have tentative date of surgery with him. Is your friend Asian? I became concerned after some negative reviews hidden from patients in this exactly forum. May I contact your friend if you would? And in your post from 50s to 20s you mentioned that the scar is visible a year... Please tell a bit more about that experience - I know you have had surgery done in MVP and redid it in Britain. And scar stays so long?
    Thank you!

  5. Talkshiontome, can you please share your before/after pictures with me? I have had THREE plastic surgeries: one in Central Asia, one in US, one in Korea and still my eyes look bad to my mind.

Can you please share your results with me on revision: [email protected]

    PLEASE!

  6. Hey hey hey, please share your list of clinics for double eyelid surgery revision, or simply earliest DES plans of surgery???

I am leaving to Seoul in three days and still very unclear, not sure about my list of clinics!
    Please share your ideas, experiences!

I have had two botched surgeries for now and the third one in the Heart of PS would be a catastrophe for me!!!

I leave on 3, return on 20th March. Would like to make my 1. eyes (priority!), 2. rhino and 3. cheek lift if it would be within my budget.

    my kakao: MsSilk75
Please let's communicate, share and brain storm ))!
    Thank you!

  7. Hi Kelly,

I plan being in Korea at the same time. Might be slightly later. Right now doing my research research as much as I can.
I tried to add you on kakao. Are you sure your ID there is Kelly Nguyen? It offers several Kellys none is from Thailand. I would like to talk to you more since I am planning to do same scope of surgeries. My ID on kakao is MsSilk75. If you can please add me. Let's share please!

  8. is your name ton0011 on kakao? I just searched, cannot find you.

  9. Is here anybody who is going to have Revision DES and rhinoplasty in the end of February - beginning of March?
    Please kindly share with me.
I have tried to revive the thread on Smitten Litten experience.
    Here is my long story:
    1. First Surgery was performed in Almaty, Kazakhstan, when I was around 20 at maxillofacial clinic. Surgeons removed all fat tissue leaving the extra skin drooping above the eyes. I was their training object and at that time did not realize anything about professional approach in PS.
    2. Second surgery performed in 2012 by "famous" Dr. Charles Lee, from Beverly Hills, LA, California. He highly recommended to add a browlift to refresh my face + open my eyes more, as he said. The result was very bad: the eyes different size, ptosis was not corrected, shapes of eyes are not attractive. My eyes look more "hooded" and tired which makes me look old. My inner corners are not done well either. I have seen the result of the botched surgery immediately after the dressing was removed. My inner corners are very different: one corner is hidden another is open, which I felt ok about, BUT the most important, to me (!!!) that my outer corners are very drooped, giving to my whole face pretty tired, exhausted expression. The amount of sleep affects my eyes definitely, but even if I sleep 10+ hours my face still looks very tired because of the botched surgeries, times two! I have made so-called "French" permanent make-up on my eyes 3 times, where the white line goes over the black eyeliner. It has enlarged my eyes and improved my whole facial expression slightly.
Also since my ptosis isn't fixed I find myself using my eyebrows to lift my kids and make my eyes bigger my top lids (hoods) cannot lift up as if it's anchored down and my lids are glued. To keep my eyes open I ALWAYS have to lift my eyebrows, which gives my face slightly surprised facial expression. But at least my eyes do not look so old and tired, sleepy.
    • My goals, and treatment that are my interest: 1. Eyes: Revisional Incisional DES, ptosis correction, lateral epicanthoplasty, removal of scars under brows. I very much admire the cat-eye shape, where the outer corner goes up. For my second PS I was saving money for many years, therefore the botched results were very devastating to me. I was very depressed for a long time. And was saving money for the second revision. I asked American surgeon to make the shape of my eyes as of Lucy Liu, He promised it to me, but have done a horrible job! 2. Cheeks' lift or facial fat redistribution to soften the nasolabial folds. 3. Possibly rhinoplasty to straighten up my nose hump and narrowing my nose and tip plasty to make it more pointy, elegant.
My cousin has made blepharoplasty in Asia. Doctor cut skin under her brows. The effect is horrible and she is looking for revision as well. I live and work in Florida.
I work as a surgery nurse for about 6 years and would like very much to find the highly professional surgeon, who can tell what is possibly/impossible to make for my face honestly without attempts of selling additional unnecessary surgeries as it has happened in the US.

Based on Purse Forum I have made plans to go to MVP because they are specializing on eyes AND nose. I have seen Youtube of JW - amazing! I would like to have all surgeries to be done in one clinic.

So, here is my list for now:
    1. MPV
    2. JW.
    3. April 31
    4. JK
    5. Banobagi (?)
    6. Does anybody know or have experience about IOU4U?

Any other personal good experience and recommendations for PS (eyes, nose, fat redestribution, etc) in one clinic?

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Valentine's

  10.

  11. Normal human faces are always asymmetrical. I am not talking here about the results of botched plastic surgery but in fact it will be only you who see such little discrepancy.

  12. Thank you MissOrange! I am at work today (working on weekends mostly) therefore will write not much. My native language is Russian, and I am fluent in English, of course. Your face really does look amazing and I remember your initial pictures posted here. Thank you for all the information and discussions, support and help.
My biggest concern is tattoos. After my failed first PS I have had a very good tattoo done on my eyelids to "raise" my droopy eyes up. In the USA I have redone tattoos twice adding a white line on top of the black line on my upper eyelid. I hope you, ladies, know what kind of tattoo I am talking about. Permanent makeup tattoo. After finding the blog of Smitten Kitten I have reshaped my brows here in the USA as well. I had laser removal of my brow tattoos and remade 3D tattoo here in the US (very expensive procedures). So, I hope my permanent tattoos on the upper eyelids will not make the work of the highly professional PS difficult. Based on the information and reviews of this forum I am going to apply for consultations of MVP and JW for now and keep searching further.

I will try to work more with Kakao (I have made some attempts this morning still did not figure out the details...)

  13. Hi Purse Forumers,

I am trying to make decisions and feel myself very very overwhelmed. Here is my story:

I have had my first DES in former Soviet Union at craniofacial clinic.

The surgery was performed by a couple of untrained surgeons. I has been their training object. I was young, due to some cultural background and lack of information about PS did not realize what means the professional plastic surgery. Doctors removed all fat tissue above my eyes leaving my eyes looking droopy, older, sleepy like. I call my eyes doggy sad eyes.

In the USA I have done "revision" by Charles Lee from Beverly Hills, California. Another big disappointment and despair. I thought American plastic surgeon is a guarantee of success, moreover he was very highly advertized through multiple sites. I have shown to him pictures of eyes I would prefer to have. I have shown the Asian eyes with outer eye corner elevated higher than the inner corner. He made lots of pictures of my face, I was very excited. He offered to make browlift through the hair line. I was concerned that my surgery was scheduled for after lunch time.

In the USA I work in surgery for 6 years. I know what the surgeon's drowsiness means. And about 4-5 years ago I found this forum. I was passively following the thread Double Eyelid Surgery Revision. I was saving money for revision. Now I believe I have enough funds for the second DE revision, third DES.

I was very excited to see and read results of Smitten_Kitten, find her blog and pictures. Then I have seen here the movie "the Cost of Beauty", very terrifying!!! I have thought about MVP, but recently read first bad review. I understand WHAT surgery means and every doctor has better or less successful results. I am very scared and overwhelmed based on the information here.

Can you please help me to start searching groups on kakao talk?

Who is planning to go to Korea at the end February, beginning March, might be share the experience?

Might be someone here plans to have revision DES and rhino?

After my failed DES revision + forehead surgery ($7000 about 5-6 years ago) I am very afraid to believe any bloggers as well as positive reviews (photoshop, unreal stories, might be same pics B/A shared among clinics)? I want dramatic, not conservative, change of my droopy eyes.

I want very much to believe the reality of Smitten_Kitten, MissOrange results.

I have to start ASAP making all necessary appointments, booking tickets, hotels, etc. and still did not make any list of clinics.

I speak Russian and English, might be here someone speaking both languages? Which language is better (cheaper) to use, when requesting for PS consults, Russian might be cheaper than English? (I know sounds funny here)

    Thank you in advance

    Dilya

  14. Thank you for story! I am sorry, I did not understand where had you have your final surgery done? In Korea?

or in the USA? as you mentioned Dr. Lee by the end before making your decision... Which Dr. Lee? from San-Francisco or Los-Angeles? tell me PLEASE!

  15. Hello Everybody!!!
I am looking for a plastic surgeon in the USA!! I am not Korean and do speak English and Russian. I am 36. I am from Kazakhstan, Central Asia.
About 12 years ago I had a blepharoplasty performed by a couple ENT surgeons..
I was a kind of a training test object and unfortunately did not realize that the results could be unexpectedly bad.
After surgery I have noticed that they had taken fat tissue without any skin removal.
Surgeons confirmed that they have removed fat tissue ONLY!
So, my eyes became baggy with a long wrinkle going from the outer corner.
Before surgery my eyes had "sad" looking appearance with outer corners going down. After the surgery this effect emphasized..
I did not like the results but I could live with such eyes.
To keep my eyes seemed open I had to raise my forehead.

I immigrated to the USA 5 years ago and started working in surgery as RN circulator.
Working in surgeries I was thinking a lot about my unsuccessful blepharoplasty.
An ENT surgeon from my hospital recommended to look for a plastic surgeon who specializes on Asian eyes blepharoplasty.
I live in Florida and started looking for a plastic surgeon here. I have met with two plastic surgeons in FLA. The first plastic surgeon from Tampa told that she will make all her best, and it was important to make her patient happy. Sounded I would be her first Asian client. Next plastic surgeon from Sarasota L. Rubinstein repeated the same.
The only difference that L. Rubinstein is working in SE Asia (Vietnam) and teaching and practicing there. He wanted $7505. He had not have enough time to talk to me as much as I wanted!!!
Moreover, he has promised exactly what I wanted - to correct mistake of my first plastic surgeons and to slightly raise my outer eye corners.

The same ENT surgeon from my hospital has recommended to have the third opinion and visit a plastic surgeon with the best reputation in our city of Lakeland.
Dr. Stark told me that he would highly recommend me to go to the Eastern coast of the USA, preferably San-Francisco. After searching in the Internet I found the website "Make me heal" with pictures of two blepharoplasties.

I definitely liked those results! I also found many plastic surgeons in the state of California but I liked the preference of Dr. Lee (San-Francisco) not to publish his patients pictures. It seemed as if he does not need additional advertising through before-after pics.
Moreover, there are TWO CHARLES LEE Plastic Surgeons in California. One is in Los-Amgeles, another from San-Francisco... One of them uses technique of Dr Flowers (Hawaii) who is the best.. MAY anybody recommend best surgeon or share personal stories of plastic surgery here in the USA?
