  1. Thanks for the informations! Just now I checked your blog and saw the fat graft, doctor surely did a good job on you. You look much younger and cuter!

It's a bit pity I already booked the fat graft with dr. Seul since I'm in Korea just for a week this time and I don't think I would have time to go around for the consultation. I did other surgeries in JW twice before and I know they have a pretty good service, beside I got a big discount (I think) and an airport pickup service so I think that was a good deal... The only negative thing is they don't give out the touch up for free, instead 1 million KRW.

I even got an email from Regen today and they said their touch up is for free too. Anyway, what done is done, might be a bit too late to change my mind to check on DA now since I already transfered a deposit to JW this morning. But I would definitely keep that in mind and let my mom know since she's planning for a fat graft too.

  2. Wow, you look cute! May I know which doctor in JW did your fat graft and how much you paid for the fat graft procedure?
    Thanks in advance!

  3. May I know the name of the doctor in JW who did the fat graft for you? Would be nice to know how much you paid for the whole procedure too. Thanks in advance!

  4. Thanks for the informations!
Wow, that's pretty expensive in Item. But I guess the price they quoted and the actually price after bargaining is quite different as I have experienced in many clinics.

  5. It make sense, thanks for the suggestion anyway. Hope you get a successful surgery. Stay strong, we will cross our fingers for you! Keep us updated please!

  6. I have emailed many clinics, some reply, some don't.

The best way to get in touch with them is calling to book an appointment for the consultation. Or worst case, you could hire a translator to do the appointment jobs for you. In fact, I have had surgery twice in Korea but I have never hired any translator. Have heard of too many stories about translators taking commission from the clinics therefore I'm not so positive about them.

  7. I actually booked the surgery date with JW this morning because I did my nose & eyes there 2 years ago and I was quite happy with the result + service. I also got quite a good discount with the full-face fat graft with dr. Seul as well.
This time I stay in Seoul only for a week therefore I feel really like rushing, I don't know if it was a good decision... although my friend who is living in Seoul said JW is good with fat graft and her friend was happy with the result.

  8. Hi all,

I'm travelling to Seoul in March to get a primary full-face fat graft. I wonder if it is possible those who have been quoted by the clinics to share about the price asked.

Personally, I have been quoted by:

    JW: 3000USD
ID: 3,5 million won included free touch up the 2nd time in 3 months.

I guess if we pay in cash and doing the bargain jobs it might be able to go down quite a bit.

  9. For me as a person who like to plan I would prefer booking the appointment before I get to Seoul. I don't like to take chances since I'm not sure how busy the clinics might be in March. If I were you I would definitely book the consultant in advance, says 2 weeks before the departure.

Are you going to be in Seoul alone?

  10. Hello all! I've booked flight ticket to Korea for a week in March (9th - 15th). Is there any of you going during the same please drop me a message, may be we can meet up.

This will be my third time in Seoul and I'm planning to have a full face fat graft. Haven't decided on which clinic to go but I have two of them on my list: JW and Regen.

I had eyes & Rhinoplasty surgeries in JW 2 years ago and I'm happy with their service. Besides, I have been to Regen for a facial contouring and was having a really good impression with them. But anyway, just need to do more research before booking the surgery date with one of them.

  12. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I also went under GA for mini V-line more than a month ago and that was the worst feeling ever in my life waking up after the surgery. Personally I wouldn't want to go under GA again. I think I have got the side effect from it, since then I have lost my ability of being concentrate. It's going crazy at work and I feel like I wasn't quick and think straight like before.

  13. That sounds super crazy to me to do that much operation at once. Doesn't matter in which clinic you will have surgery with. First of all, it's very unhealthy to force your body to deal with that much healing at the same time. Secondly, the more procedures the higher chances of fails you are dealing with. Thirdly, you don't know the doctor, isn't that better to do it one by one to make sure he is the right one to give the rest of trusts/ moneys to him?
Lastly, I don't think there would be any clinic that allowed your friend to go in the operation room with you. Sounds too strange to believe!

  14. P.M you. Check your inbox please!

  15. Just a small suggestion, in case if you are going for JW then they have two English consultations. The one call Emily was my consultation for a week ago and I strongly suggest her, she was very helpful and nice. The other one is Jacob, I haven't got a chance to talk much with him but he seems to be a super busy man so I don't think he will have so much time to take care of each individual visits.

  16. Thank you! I came to Korea twice. The first time I had eye (ptosis correction, non-incision double eye lids, epi canthoplasty) and nose (tip plasty using ear cartilage, hump reduction, osteotomy) done at JW. The second time I had nose revision ( rasping down the remaining bump) done at JW again and mini V-line (sliding genioplasty, shaving the chin area to have a V-shape look) in ID hospital.

  17. Haha ok. Would be nice to know about your choices!

  18. Hey, thanks! I got it done with dr. Suh in JW a year ago. Tip-plasty using ear cartilage, osteotomy and hump reduction. My nose bridge was high from the beginning therefore I didn't have to use an implant.

However, I had to come back to Seoul for a simple revision (rasping down the bump) with him because of the remaining bone left in the right side of the bridge are not smoothen out enough. Anyway, now I could say I'm pretty much happy with my nose.

  19. Thanks! Got my hair done before I came home in Juno hair salon close to Sinsa station. Quite an expensive place but I like my new hair look anyway. :P

If I don't get it wrong, are you with the "June group" in Seoul? How was your experience and result? If you don't mind sharing.

  20. I'm appreciated for any experience people are sharing whether its negative or positive. The more information the better, right?

Right now I'm happy with my result, even though it's not enough time yet to make a final judgment.

I'm really sorry about your failed surgery with ID. Didn't they offer any solution for you? What are you planning to fix it now?
