  2. I think this is a tough question, everyone heals differently. Technically, many doctors told me the complete heal should take up to a year; if you are not happy with the result, you can do a revision after 6 months generally. By the way, i did the incisional eyelids surgery in Nov last year, my eyelids are still swollen now.

  3. Sorry to hear that. Asymmetry issue is common in the early healing stage. I am sure if you ask them about your concern now, they will say "it's too early to predict the result, please wait..."
I did my eyelid surgery with MVP in November last year. Unfortunately, the swell has not subsided completely, so the "crease" has not showed up yet. In my case, my right eye can open up more upwards than the left eye if i try really hard to open both eyes as much as i can together, there is no "surprise look" on my eyes. According to what Dr Seo told me, the ptosis of my left eye was corrected more than the right eye; But i don't see much difference as before. Since my left eye and right eye were not the same size to start with, i don't think Dr Seo did make them the same size after the surgery, but the asymmetry is not that obvious though. Besides, i still feel my left eyelid is heavier than the right one when i look up, it doesn't bother me though, i am not sure this is normal healing process or he didn't remove enough skin.
I cannot comment anything on Dr Seo now as it's too early, i will do after another 4 months.

  5. Hi fayelita
Sorry to hear your tragedy. I think lots of people just post their surgery experiences here too early, i think they should wait for at least 6 months to 1 year.
Also, your crease is not even continuous from the pic you posted here, was that the case after you underwent the surgery with Dr. Kwon at the first time? or He did this from the revision surgery?

  6. I had Walk-in Eyes consultation with Dr Seo yesterday, i didn't make an appointment in advance, but he came out from the surgery room to talk to me for around 5 mins, Mindy and the other consultant answered my questions most of the time. The clinic looks busy though, Mindy said it will be more busy after 17 Nov.
The price for ptosis and full incision is only 2.5mil Won, it's very reasonable.

  7. I just did my walk-in eyes consultation with Dr Kang at JW yesterday. I was asking for Dr Choi Hong Lim for eyes consultation, but, unfortunately, he's unavailable. Anyway, the consultation went quite well. Jay was my English translator, he quoted me a whopping USD$3700 for ptosis correction and USD$2400 for full incision; Furthermore, i will have to wait for 2 weeks if i want Dr Choi to operate on my eyes. The price is definitely too high now, it's even more expensive than Tieum clinic, which is ridiculous!

  8. hi,
sorry to hear that. i did my endoscopic forehead lift and lower bleph and some fat graft on my forehead as well by Dr. Kwon last year, it's been a year now, my forehead still looks ok, there are no obvious dents and bumps; however, after seeing your review, i am a bit scared now. Dr. Kwon strongly recommended me to do a second fat graft during my first consultation with him last year so that the result will be permanent. Now, i am planning to go there for second fat injection.
I personally think doing PS is sort of risky business, we have to make sure if we want to take the risks or not before flying to a foreign country to do it. Dr. Kwon has his own philosophy on beauty, yes, you are right, he's very confident sometimes a bit over i think, he never listen to your opinions if they are against his philosophy, e.g. if he doesn't think you need to do a upper eyelid surgery, he will not do it even though you think your eyes are short and small; because he thinks Asian should keep their own trait. Honestly, i did insist on my eyelid surgery as well to make eyes bigger, and he refused it and told me my eyes look good and big enough in Korean standard, i was thinking about it afterwards, then i thought he might be right because i've been living overseas for a long time, all the white people around me have bigger eyes, which always make me feel my eyes are smaller.
Besides, i think everyone's anatomy and healing process is different, the same procedure might work well on one person but doesn't work on the other, just like some people heal really fast and result looks natural after upper eyelids surgery; In contrast, some are very slow or might have scars left forever.
Last but not least, everyone makes mistakes including Doctors. Dr. Kwon said he's not god, he meant he is just a normal person, which means the more surgeries he takes on, the more mistakes he gonna make. That's inevitable. But i do believe a good doctor must not avoid his or her responsibilities if something bad happens after the surgeries; instead, he or she should find a remedy or a revision surgery free of charge.
I really want to have a look on your fat graft areas if you figure out how to insert pics here.
    thanks
