  1. Hello all, just info, I did my eyes at rex 3 weeks ago. I think i did overpay for my double eyelid surgery, usd2850 (non-inci des+epi) , indeed, it was recommended by my translator, my eyes still looking good so far, i can see that my eyes begin to look natural at this point, eventhough my left eye is still much more swollen than the right. In my opinion, as long as the result is good, overall, still worth it. Im not good at bargaining really, but im pretty sure every ps clinic in korea is negotiable and this clinic have a chinese consultant but im not sure whether they hav any english consultant. Good luck, ladies.

  2. Hi cookie, indeed, what method is really depending on your eye, if you have many excess skin and fats, then you have to choose incisional method. I know Incisional method is the best method since our double eyelid definitely will stay permanently until our skin starts dropping. But im just personally more comfortable with non-inc. i remember during the consultation there were 2 other doctor ( tlps and jewelry) asking me what method i want, before i mentioned to them that i actually prefer non-inc, meaning i am still a potential candidate for non-incisonal. If you decide to do more than one surgery, i suggest you should do it in one clinic. So u dont need to get LA for twice.
Yeahh...Me too, i have been researching just for double eyelid for 1 year, its like my daily. Before i came to seoul, i was anxious, excited, worried at the same time. Cant wait to get it done right away.. I am thinking of getting fat graft next time...heheh... Good luck everyone ^^

  3. Hi, cookie, my translator helped me arranged those appointment, i remember she said that doctor kwon was away last week and in addition, teuim is not my top choice so i wasnt really dissapointed. I did my eyes at Rex clinic. Yes, initially pitangui was my top choice before i came to seoul, they quote me 4m won for double eyelid, ptosis, epi (quite expensive). I was twisting between pitangui and rex. I feel comfortable with these 2 doctors. From what i heard from my translator, Dr.chung ( rex clinic) is more specilised in double eyelid surgery and only 1 doctor in his clinic so definitely no switching doctor. And he is the one who sew and remove the thread by himself instead of nurses. Yeah, i understand that there is possibility that it might get undone, but i am still willing to gamble. i did ask about the possibilty of undone, they promised me it is not unlikely to happen because today method (called double suture maybe) is different from traditional method, i even ask if it really become undone, i will come back and look for them, they said ok. I think that maybe another 10-15 years later, when my eyelid starts dropping, by then, i could get incisional method which might be easier for doctor to do so. I also think of the worst case, let say, if my double eyelid do not turn out naturally, it shouldnt be a hard job to have revision because the doctor still able to take out the thread from my eyelid. And based on my research, non incisional almost leave no scar, if i want natural, then scar should not be visible and will give us a softer look. I am just choosing a safer way, hopefully i dont regret. I think regen is also a good choice. But they never reply my email, so i dont bother to visit them anyway. When r u coming to seoul?

  4. Dear forumers, just want to share my experience since this forum has been helping me alot througout my research, this forum is so so supportive to anyone who plan to do ps in korea Anyway, Long short story. Currently, im still in seoul. I was here since last week and i was picked up by my translator from airport. Initially, i have scheduled 5 clinics for consultation. Teuim, pitangui, chungdam u, tlps, bk. Because dr.kwon teuim is not available during this period and also found that chungdam u is a so-so clinic only, then i asked my translator switched these 2 clinics to rex (recommended by translator) and jewelry in last minute. And i ended up choosing rex and my mum chosed jewelry. Honestly, i was having difficulty research bout my clinic in internet not much information available but i trust my feeling, so i went ahead. Pitangui is my second choice but they suggest me to do ptosis correction which other clinics didnt offer me this surgery because my ptosis is not severe, neverthless, i still believe dr.yoo is a skillful doctor.
Surgery day: i just had my double eyelid surgery yesterday, the surgery went so well because after injecting IV, i fall asleep in 5 seconds. When i woke up, the surgery already over. Oh btw, i did non-incitional method and epi. Only rex recommended me to do non-incisional, while the other 4 clinics suggests me to do incisional method and epi. Because i really want to do non-incisional method because it looks more natural and quicker healing time and one of their chinese consultant just did her double eyelid there, really really natural, besides that, my translator strongly recommend this clinic, her clients mostly went to this clinics for natural eyelook. The doctor seems very confident that non-incisional method suits my condition, i really dont need incisional. So after considering for 3 days, i went back to this clinic and made the payment, other than double eyelid surgery, i also add prp injection mixed with some kinda hydrating treatment inject to my face (i have a very dry skin) and also removing moles. I was thinking i should do it all the same time, i wont feel too much pain. I cant comment my result yet since today is only my day-1 post op. my eyes still swollen. Basically, during the surgery process, i didnt feel pain at all,i kept repeating and telling them pls be gentle to me i am so afraid of needles. When the sedation kicks in, i really dont remember a thing, i am so so glad. I will let you guys know the final result, hopefully turn out well, because i can see that crease not high should be natural and hopefully not too low after my swelling is completely gone. Sorry for grammer errors. Good luck guys!

  5. Yes, i did bring my translator. That could be one of the reason too. Anyway, 2 hours after we left the clinic, the consultant called my translator to check whether i will do my surgey there, my translator told them that their price is the highest, and they said they couldnt lower down their price like other clinics and suggest me to do at other clinics ( yeah, of course). I think their strategy is quoting foreigner at lower price in email but during face to face consultation, they will charge you at the maximum price because i do notice that their clinic is quite crowded and busy so they are not afraid of losing few customers at the moment.

  6. Info only. TL quote me usd4000 for double eyelid, ptosis and epi in email. But during face to face consultation 2 days ago, they quoted me usd6000. I have seen the doctor, the doctor looks busy but still patiently listen to my needs. But I have to crossed them out because that is not within my budget. I didnt show their email how much they quoted me initially. I am sure they are still many good doctors out there in seoul and charge us lesser. And indeed, among all of the clinics i visited, tl is the highest. Good luck guys!

  7. Hi motherhen, for facelift surgery, have u considered tlps? I saw their b & a are quite amazing. I'm going with mum, we'll be visiting tlps and bk for facelift in Oct. TLps haven't replied my email yet, but we r definitely will check them out. Not many review of aone in this forum, but they seem good at anti-aging surgery.

  8. Hi bellyshiok, are u in korea now? currently im helping my mum looking for a good surgeon for her facelift too, and she leans towards bk, and I just found another clinic called Aone, they seem to be good at facelift, but couldnt find any review about this clinics in any forum, only saw some video in YouTube. , I also emailed Item, they quote $4000-6000 which is slightly cheaper than bk. But I wonder if they are good at it. As for myself, I want to do double eyelid, i saw apujeong plastic surgery website, I think they do a good job for eyelid, but I cant find their email address....all in Korean words*scratch my head*. How much did pitangui quote u for facelift? Anyway, I'm very looking forward to hear your experience.

  9. Teuim also mentioned to me about sedatives, I think I'm going for it bcoz I'm afraid the anesthesia will wear off in the half way. If that really happen to me, i will be scared to death and pain like hell then. I even request for general anesthesia, but they don't recommend it. Those who had done ps with local anes are really really brave. I'm still in between teuim and Regen.... Can't make final decision yet..

  10. Hi anitx, I was charging same price as yours from teuim via email. Maybe we have to use our bargainingt skills during our face to face consultation. Banobagi charge me at higher price with the same surgeries like full incision , muscle correction plus epi total up to 4800000 won , it is so nmuch higher than teuim. And I haven't got replied from other clinic yet. Btw, aren't u considering other clinics? Teuim is on my top list too. But will still considering other clinics too.

  11. My mum did the threadlift around 3 years ago. Suprisingly, i was allowed to sit inside the surgery room and watched the surgery since the doc said it wasn't that scary anyway. However, I was feeling horrified than everyone else in the room. Anyway, we are planning somewhere around April. Im hoping me n my mum could do our surgeries at the same clinics so we could have a better bargaining power. But really depends on how we connect with the doctors. Hopefully grand or Regen have chinese translator so my mum can understand better. How long you gonna stay in Korea? And have you decided where to stay? Anyway, Regen and banobagi haven't replied my emails. Will you do ur surgery on the same day as ur mom? So are you getting upper blepharoplasty ?

  12. Hi Tracey,

Actually my mum had done thread lift before in singapore (but im not sure whether it's similar to ez thread lift in Korea) the result wasn't significant and doesnt last too long , could it be due to the doctor isn't skilled enough ? She was dissapointed so that's why she wants to do facelift instead. Last year i stayed at hotel la casa and met a woman from china who just did facelift in bk. her face was soo swollen and looked horrible with her bandaged. Initially i thought she just recovered from an accident..
I am considering grand too for my mum's consultation. Whereas for myself, I would stick to those clinics that are good at eye surgery like teuim, Regen, banobagi. I want a natural eye look like Sandra park. Dont think can consult many clinics due to limited time. Probably at most 3clinics

Have u got quotation from Regen for facelift?

  13. hellow everyone!!

I am new member here. I am thinking of doing my double eyelids in April (my plan is on April).
I am looking forward for more pple to share their double eyelid experience in Regen, Teuims and Banobagi. I am having difficulties email Regen from their website. Whenever I want to submit my email, it pops up a warning in korean words which I dont get at all. I only emailed Teuims so far and i am pretty happy with their quick response.

By the way, anyone here have any information about facelifting? Which clinic is the best for facelifting? I am helping my mum for survey. I dont have any korean friends so it kinda hard for me to collect information about korea clinic from locals. My mum did her upper/lower blespharoplasty in BK before. Actually her results is considered good enough but I think there might have another better clinics for facelifting. Please mind to share your information.
