I totally agreed with the statement of years of experience does not necessarily mean the skill is good. I'd my surgery with them last Nov. Even if they give you free revision, will you want to go back to them?

You are so right. As I went into more depth of the procedures on facelift, I get more confused. :shame: Can I seek your opinion, how long does the absorbable thread last as compare to non-absorption one? Would pple go for absorption or non-absorption one or facelift?

 

Thanks Dreamsharer for the invaluable tips. I need to register that and be wiser to make the right decision. Oh my it's tough. Tbh, I recently went to see dr andrew tay and asked for his opinion. He didn't think I need a facelift but lipo instead for my double chin area. His method of lipo has some lifting effect so he think it's good enough. But I already having sagging skin at my lower jowl, not sure how much it can help..

 

Only Item recommended thread lift, others actually recommended mid-face or mini facelift for me but these are based on photo I sent via email, not face to face consultation. I'm seriously thinking of doing facelift as I cannot afford to do surgery every other year and thread lift as I understand will only last 2 to 3 years. Still trying to do more research but knowing that looking for a real good and skillful kr dr is never an easy task...

 

I did lower blep last nov and also experienced darker circle and inner corner after the surgery. It's already 8 months post op for me.

Some dr hv suggested to me to do full face fg but I am worried whether will it be too much to do on full face.

 

yes, a bit of skin sagging before the chin implant and after implant it's more obvious. I'm planning to do lipo on my double chin and follow by a facelift or v-line to get rid of the excess skin and fat graft. hope this is the right way to go..

I'd chin implant last nov that leaded me with more sagging skin at the chin area. Not sure if it's due to the chin implant but i'm gg for a lift this oct.

Thanks for the swift reply. I'd eyelid revision and chin implant in KR last Nov and I KIV facelift to this year as I do not want to have too many surgeries at one go. Facelift is what recommended to me by the doctor who did my eyelid. Appreciate it if you can share your experiences with me.

1. Regarding facelift, i m just starting to do research.
2. I'm 45 year old (sagging skin at lower chin area)
3. Still searching for a reliable and skillful doctor with experience in this area.

I agree with you that dr yoo doesn't talk a lot nor does he recommend u unnecessary surgery. He will ask what's your concern area and then give his best shot. Nicole is super nice and she too, doesn't push u into the surgery. In term of service, they are best in class. I can't comment on the skill and my result as yet as i'm only 3 weeks post ops.

 

Hi soong sister and readers, allow me to make correction. I was with the nov group who went to kr for surgery. The unpleasant incident indeed happened but not in pitangui. The patient who lost the cash did her surgery in another clinic. I'd my surgery in pitangui and the things I brought there and left unattended to, were all intact and nothing get lost. Having said this, I must still say on the safe side, don't carry too much cash and if possible, put them in the safe ya =)

 

I went to IOU for consultation yesterday, I was surprised that dr kang could not speak English and that made me wonder who responded to my email last time which signed off with his name..do u mean he can write but cannot speak. Anyway the clinic was empty like what u mentioned and I agreed with u, the staff are not so friendly..

I'm going in Nov and there is a one day Deepavali holiday in that 2nd week. You wanna go earlier..

 

review other clinics, VIP is very expensive. i'm going in nov and i haven't decided which clinic. every time i think of this i get so panic..

 

hmmm..her face is not as rounded as when she first came back, so i suppose it subsided a little though not all. For fat grafting, she did it on her forehead and temple.

 

My sis did facelift, fat graft, eyebag, ptosis with VIP in Apr. Personally i don't find them good in eyes. I'm going for eyelid revision and VIP is definitely not my choice.
