  1. ty so very much, you have no idea how great it is to hear that. seriously though, plastic surgery changed my life and i love that I got the balls to do it (figuratively, lol)

well, I think it will help you if you look into my older posts. What I did was post my experience while I was going through the process. So I made in detail updates of the recovery period for up to 1 month I think. IDK remember but I posted about my experience right after I woke up from the anaesthesia. It seems like forever ago but I want you to check it out so you can understand my pain as it was happening . I wish you all the best

Because you are new I cannot send you a private message, one you post more on here I guess then you become a member so ask me again and I'll send it to you when it lets me

  2. lol, you sound like me when i first got here, lost and confused with 20 questions. Dont worry you came to the right place because these people are amazing and will try their best to help you. On that note, I went to Korea twice last year, in February I did 2-jaw,v line, sliding genioplasty(they had to push my chin forward so I didn't end up having a frog chin) and zygoma reduction. I had it done at everm for $18,000 usd . The reason I got that price is because I was very adamant about getting the best price.

I wanted to do everything all at one just to get it over with ( rhino and breasts) but that is a no no). 2 jaw prevent you from breathing through your nose so if you do rhino and 2 jaw, good luck with that.

So my last trip was to do rhino and boobs, some fat graft and lip reduction. This one was done at DA for $25,000. I set that price in my head before I even got there and DA said yes so I said ok. Overall, both clinics did a great job. I love my results and people say I look different. Its obvious I went under the knife but others just cannot put their finger on it. My boobs is a dead giveaway though because I went big. So no more plastic surgery for me, I was very satisfied with both clinics and on a daily basis people compliment me and tell me that I should model. I mean like every single day. Thank God for korean surgeons and their magi hands because before the s my confidence was a no no

  3. 2 jaw surgery pushes your jaw inwrds so the front of your fae, where your mouth is,isnt as protruded.drrichardjoseph.com/assets/patients/113-lg-side-2.jpg\but square jaw redution deals with the side of your fae to make you have a more oval fae pitchenginelive.blob.core.windows.net/dev/47be242b-4387-4915-9bcf-d996b0336b36/17590faf-efc3-4ac2-8b98-cdb5b4069cae.jpg

  4. I think she was paid for my everm trip but so what. lol.if i had to do it myself i probably wouldve ended up disappointed due to misommuniation

the clinics probably paid bock soon, my translator, commission but so what, she spent the day driving me around in her benz and showing me all these clinics and the the end of the day,it was my decision on wht clinic to go to. So the first time I ended up paying more money than my second time around. I told Bock Soon im not paying a penny more over $25,000 and I didn't.So idk if she got commission or not for my second trip but I paid what I wanted to pay. Anyway, I love her to death and shes awesome and made my plastic journey worth while

srry i meant to say I paid $12,000 usd flat for quite a few procedures. $25,000 usd is what I brought with me but they didnt know that

  5. ulzzang I heard about airbnb on here and you are right it is amazing. Mwol told me about it

  6. ur absolutely right, I stayed at the Emphthatha Residence and I am so glad I did. So I went to Korea two times. The first time I went I was so afraid and overwhelmed on the plane because I had no idea what to do or where to go. Prior to arriving I emailed Bock Soon back and forth,She is the owner of the place. I told her that I was coming for surgery and I had no idea where to begin. So after I arrived at the hotel I messages her and told her I had arrived so lo and behold this pretty little asian lady shows up at my room with the biggest most sweetest personality ever and asks me if im ready for her to take me around and show me the clinics. I was so shocked because I was not expecting this. She drove me around to the clinics I mentioned to her and even showed me the ones she recommended. I was so damn grateful. I feel like without her I wuldve been a deer in headlights, seriously. She is amazing for doing that for me She made this foreign place a good experience for me. That is why I booked at her place the second time around because she is very hospitable and extremely generous, which im not really used to,coming from where im from. The Residence is rigth smack int he middle of the plastic surgery district so Everm and DA, the two clinics I went to were walking distance. Lets see, Oz Clinic, BK, Regen, DReam, Faceline,The LIne. All these paces are walking distance because its in a city like environment. I saw other places to stay but I feel like I got lucky with that one. It was def cheaper than the Highland Hotel, which I passed by every single day. I found Bock Soon here

I know the rooms look small but it worked for me
    Anyway,hope that helped

  7. let me out is right, research everything about the procedure you want and do multiple consultations through email before you decide to do this. It took me two years of research and reading every single page on this forum and others before I made it to Korea. Please be safe and I wish you the best

  8. you do not need 2 jaw, you just have a week chin. You definitely need either sliding geniplsty or a chin implant, that should balance out your face. Your lucky u do not need 2 jaw, it is painful. As to your lower lip, I think it's sexy to have a larger lower lip and thinner upper lip. I think you are fine in that area

  9. My surgery journey is over, its been a painful ride and im glad its over. i did all three of those procedures plus sliding genioplasty at everm. yes i felt safe, but one thing that bothered me is the person that drew my blood did not wear gloves. he was the same person that took the molding of my mouth,he put gloves on for thaT though. That seriously bothered me but i kept my mouth shut. Whats crazy is at DA,they did the same thing. They didnt wear gloves, whats up with tht lol. i do not remember the name of the dotor tht operated on me,i think i mentioned him in my earlier post when i literally tabled down every single part of my eperiene so check my earlier posts. I remember consulting with dr yoon though. For bargaining I just say, tell them a price like $1000 less than your actual budget and see what they say. Also, tell them you have consulted and plan on consulting more clinics and if they ask you what other prices the other clinics quote you, just lie and make up a price LOL, i know its bad but it worked for me. doesnt work for grand, faceline or id though

ty, i had this photo taken at least a few months after the nose and boobs were done

you know what,ps is a risk When I went under both times I knew I was playing russian roulette with my life. You just have to weigh your options. Are you willing to risk your life for beauty or live out the res of your life with a fae that you hate. I feel like regardless of what clinic you go to anyting can happen, you can get an infection or maybe you have an underlying health problem Ya never know. I never liked Wonjin in the first place though but hey, what can you do. The good thing is if something goes wrong while you are under,at least you wil not be in immense pain

Ive heard good things about Braun on this forum but personally ive never been,gl though

  10. grand is wayy overpriced and overrated. When I was in korea, there was a major protest going on,i mean cops guarded the place because they thought people wanted to start a riot. Anyway the protest was ran by the family of a girl that went to grand for a nose job, she ended up in a coma. ultimately i read on here that she died, which is terribly sad. Not only that they are terribly overpriced. they quoted me over $40,000 usd for only 4 procedures whereas I went elsewhere and got it for 1/2 the price. I have to admit if it wasnt for the advice of this forum, i probably wouldve went there. Im so happy i came here first.

  11. they do zygoma at everm also, I had mines done there and im quite satisfied. They are not completelty the exact same size, which bothered me at first. But after doing consults at other clinics months later They told me that that is normal.

  12. thats what i loved about having surgery in korea, over here in the u.s. they want you to wait weeks. Why do you have to wait so long. When I went to DA, I had my surgery the morning after because they did my bloodwork and xrays that night during consultation, inside the clinic. At Everm, I had the surgery 2 days later only because they had to do an xray of my chest and do bloodwork outside of the dental clinic. BTW Everm does not do breasts or nose jobs, they only do dental work. EG. 2 jaw, v line, sliding genioplasty,oh yeah and they do cheekbone too. Im lucky I got good results both times I went under. Now im not saying my face is perfect it definately is not. It was asymmetrical before and it is asymmetrical now. I just look more photogenic,nd im not picy. I just wanted to loo prettier. If you are seeing perfection lie that Ken doll guy, then plastic surgery can be a nightmare.

  13. it wasnt a whole buding, its rare to find a ps clinic that has its own building DAPRS,ID and BK have their own buildings. Roian definately does not have its own building, its more like small subsecton of a building I remember now, it is right here by exit 11. it looked like it was on the 1st floor

  14. Omfg, when I read your post I had a flashback for when I went to korea. Do I never stepped foot inside romian but I know tht it is right by hangman station, exit 11 or 10 I think. It should be easy to find if you know where gangnam station is

  15. I used the silicone implant and he used the cartilage in my tip, he didnt touch my ears. I'll inbox you the collage I made

Yeah he did osteonomy and that's wht I wanted because I read other posts about people going minor things without a tip lastly alarplasty. They end up disappointed because their nose looks the same after

It's my pleasure, I'm just happy to help. I miss korea sooo much lol I listen to a Korean station on my radio to reminisce

  16. Hey guys, sorry I went on this Long break for months. This point I am extremely happy with my results and do not plan on returning to Korea. I love miss bocksoon and I will miss her. At first I hated my nose job that I had done at DA, But all my friends love it so I decided to keep it. I just rrplied to all my messages but I think the photo collage that I made is from my private photo bucket album. Message me with any questions you have. I've done it all the facial contouring and a boob job so ask me any questions

  17. 1 month post op

    Breast augmentation
Pre op, I was a 32b but post op I found out that Im a 32ddd.OMG triple d's lol. It sounds huge but it's perfect for my body frame. My shirts fill out a lot better and the best part is i'm finally done with the surgical bra. I do understand why I had to wear it though beause post op my implants were so high they looked ridiculous. But now, I think im in love because they look sooo natural and I get so many compliments. Btw it is obvious that I had my breasts done because there is a major difference. 375's made a major difference in my up size. When I had my BRA fitting the clerk kept commenting on how pretty and perky they look and she told me that every woman dreams of having my chest size, I didn't tel he I have implants though. She couldnt tell.

    Fat graft
It still looks great and I hope the fat lats for years but I do not want to do a touch up

    Lip reduction

I can feel that my lips are thinner when I lick them lol. I find myself licking my lips all the time now, thats my way of admiring how much thinner they have gotten. I also find myself staring at my lips in the mirror a lot because I cannot believe how much smaller they are now compared to how they were before. Between the 2 jaw and lip reduction,my lips look a lot . I will be returning to Korea to have the upper lips reduced a bit more towards the middle but I am satisfied with the decision I made to do it in the first place

    Rhinoplasty

My 1 week and 2 week post op reviews were of me being extremely happy and saying tht I was loving my nose. That was because I was in Korea and I didn't get a chance to see my family and friends yet. Well. since being home I like it a lot less and I mean a lot. I feel like I look less black(ethnic). The sad part is that the same surgeon that did my breasts also did my nose. Now here's the kicker, ive gotten so many compliments on my nos and a lot people are asking me where I got it done because they want it too. Some say it looks perfect and yada yada yada but I feel now like it looks too upturned, too asian
now that is great for an Asian only im not asian, I think its my fault too why my nose turned out upturned because I specifically told the doctor that I want an upturned cute nose like Geum Jan DI. Now im feeling like a complete idiot because I should've said I want halle Berry's nose. I beat myself up about it everyday. I cannot wait for 5 more months so I can finally get a revision. I may go back to DAPRS or I may go elsewhere but I cannot live with this nose for the rest of my life. I like the silicone implant and I like that my doc shaved the sides of my nose to make it narrower,it is just the tip that bothers me. It is upturned like a pig's nose so you can see right up inside my nostrils. I swear I can count all my nose hairs if I stared in the mirror enough. Sorry if Im ranting but I had to get this out. I cannot wait to revise the tip and make it a lil longer so you cant see inside my nose and also I want to revise my alarplasty to make my nostrils more elliptical shaped and a lil larger, I regret the alarplasty too.

Listen to me anyone thinking of getting a nose job. Make sure to research the hell out of what shape and size you want your nose to be. Just because a nose looks nice on someone else does not mean it will look nice on you. I had to learn that the hard way. I did very little research on the kind of nose I wanted and now i'm paying for it. I did more research my first time around when I started my ps journey. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Photoshop your nose if you have to and show your surgeon. That really is the best thing and please choose a nose that is suitable for your race. Right now I have the nose that ID calls the barbie line nose and Pitangui has this black girl on their website that has the same nose I do. I loved it before but I hate it on me. Please please please do your research to avoid the heartache

  18. You dont need one, they didn't ask me for anything both times at the airport

  19. I emailed them first in English only and got no reply and tried again only this time in English and Korean and got a response

  20. That's the station I got off at too, just take air shuttle bus 6009 and tell the driver to drop you off at sinsa station 3. It'll be $15,000 Korean won , I'm not sure if the bus driver takes other currency

  21. 2 weeks post op

    Breast augmentation:
The pain has subsided a lot and I mean by 90% so i'm feeling a lot better and I guess the pain was worth it because I love how my breasts turned out. Swelling has gone down a bit also and my breasts dropped a bit so its not as high as it was post op. I still have to wear the surgical bra for another couple of weeks but I am getting used to it's tightness ad I also don't sleep in it at night

    Nose job:
I honestly cannot believe that I have little to no swelling on the nose 2 weeks post op. That's just so weird to me. Ive met a few people while here in Seoul and they tell me that if I didn't mention that I had a nose job they wouldn't have guessed. They say it looks very natural and it suits my facial features. Pre-op the doctor told me I will have scars below my nostrils but so far the scars are barely visible

    Lip reduction:
Had stitches removed after 2 weeks and that hurt lso freaking bad. Still awaiting results from lip reduction so I cannot reallly comment on it yet

    Fat graft:
It looks very natural 2 weeks post op and i'm extremely happy with this procedure because it filled out my face more

A few tips for those of you planning to come to Seoul:

*When you are about to leave Incheon airport, there will be a bank called Shinhan Bank. It's close to the bus terminal. Your life will be a lot easier if you exchange the currency you have there(the lady told me they do not charge for an exchange). When I came I traded $300 usd for korean won and it lasted me two weeks. You can buy food/clothes or whatever with no worries.

    * Do not come and go without visiting Gangnam station. Its a train station that has a mini mall with great deals and it's exciting to shop there. Plus, it'll get you out of your hotel room and give you something to do while in Seoul

*Buy Arnica Montana/Bromelain before you get here. It's an amazing desweller that works like the pumpkin juice only you apply it directly to the swelling. I found it works great for deswelling super fast.

    * If you have no idea where to book a hotel, book a place near Nonhyeon-dong, Garosugil or Apjugeong. These places are where the clinics are at. ID, Everm, Dream, Regen, Faceline, Migo,365 mc,The Line,View and like a gazillion more places. Even the infamous BK and Grand are here. TLPS is the only one I know of so far that is out of this PS District. (Ive seen Young Dong Hotel, Lex Hotel,Motel 6 here) I stayed at the Emphthatha Residence because it was more within my budget and the owner and her family are hospitable.

*Fly Korean Air if you can, they have great customer service and I mean impeccable. They have a blanket, pillow, slippers, headphones and water for you on the plane. Not to mention, they have a ton of movies(english and korean), games and music for entertainment. You dont even need your ipad, ipod, phone or computer. Oh yeah, and the food is decent.

*Post op do not stay couped up in your room all day everyday. Its soooo bad for deswelling and also depressing. The clinic you go to will give you a surgical mask,so wear it proud and walk for as long as you can.

    * There are stores here called Daiso, which are pretty much like the dollar store. You can get anything there from toilet paper to dishes and cups. They have everything and I mean everything. So when you're packing do not be one of those people at the airport that have to transfer stuff from your bags because you packed too much. Under pack because its not as heavy and at Daiso they have Toothpaste, toothbrushes, towels, masks for post op surgery, soap etc...

*Do not be offended if people stare at you here or point and laugh at whatever it is they make of your face behind your mask. It happened to me and it might happen to you. Don't feel bad just keep on moving with your head high and stay strong

    * If you're not used to people smoking everywhere and I mean everywhere, like me. Brace yourself because everywhere you turn people will be puffing smoke in your face. They tend to spit a lot too but you'll get used to it I guess

*Just because a clinic gives you a price does not mean that it is set in stone, ask for a discount and if you only brought with you a certain amount of money, tell them that and see what they say. In addition if they ask you if you bought your credit card or more money please say no because they will up your price

*Post op get mentally prepared to be afraid when you look in the mirror. You will be unrecognizable due to swelling. You can avoid mirrors if you want but just now that the swelling will eventually go down
