is it actually that bad? if you live to be 90 then you get natural radiation for 90*365=32850 days. and most people don't die of cancer even after that much radiation
i don't know, it just doesn't seem as bad as if it was 5 years worth of ratiation. i don't want to be worried too much for no reason, i worry about the surgeries enough already.
i think if something isn't available in a country where most PS is done and where millions of people have to deal with swelling then it's not necessary and not that helpful.
facial surgery for sure! like jaw surgery. but maybe not nose? eyes i think korea does better too but maybe nose and i don't know. botox and/or fillers? i've been thinking about getting botox and fillers lately
ah you know i'm feeling just like that, we pay to learn from our mistakes, with money or with something else, always with shame... but it shouldn't be like that it's so unfair and cruel, if you don't always watch out something bad will happen
haha i know exactly how you feel!
also i have a different problem, i've been looking at local places because i finally live in a big city where there are local places! but there are too many places and a lot of them are those annoying places that do anything but surgery: fillers, botox, laser everything, vaser lipo but no surgeries. but i've walked in and asked their prices and they all said they have a doctor... well maybe the doctor is a doctor but not a surgeon? i don't know but i don't trust those places as much somehow. like i think a place isn't serious enough if they don't do surgery haha. but i would trust them for procedures like botox though so i don't know. i actually wonder if they would do aegyosal... and if they know how to. i'll have to ask next time
I'm sorry i don't know the clinic but i laughed when i see that... i know a couple of shops around here that have names like that, pretty much like a store named "expensive store" selling... expensive things. hahaha. i'm not even joking, it's like that! it's funny to see...sometimes i think i have to go inside those shops just because of the name... maybe that's their trick!
thank you for writing this, you gave me more confidence! i don't think there will be a big difference between the size of my face now and after my surgeries... i mean it's just millimeters anyway! so how much can it really affect? i think you're right...
ah i'm sorry... i had my first consultation with a PS today, and he was only specialized in certain things so i couldn't ask him about all the procedures i wanted to and it was my first PS consultation so i was a little baffled and didn't even ask as many questions as i wanted to haha... maybe next time i'll do better? i wasn't prepared for it! the surgeon actually told me twice i don't have to be shy and i can ask anything... ah so embarrassing T_T
ah i really don't know...
i keep hearing the words in my head "nose last, your new nose has to fit the shape of your new face..."
but... i'm so anxious to get rid of my old nose, i hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it...
i could get it done here where i live or go to korea to get it done, but if i do here i don't have to pay for a hotel... ah i really think i will get my nose done soon, or nose and eyes... if the new nose doesn't fit my face after v-line i can always get a revision...
v-line includes t-osteotomy
v-line is general term like... lunch. it can include a soup, rice, meat, or all three. t-osteotomy is like rice and square jaw is like chicken and long cut is like soup
2 jaw/3 jaw is like dinner
"jaw surgery" is like "meal", it can mean lunch or dinner
hope that helps!
advertising to transsexuals is something you only see in the west and in thailand so you shouldn't be surprised... face is face and bone is bone, it doesn't have anything to do with what you think, feel or believe. bone is bone even if you're dead and a good surgeon can shape it same same no matter who it belongs to.
most PS in every country is done on women
and most surgeons are trained in making a face look more feminine
so any face they get, ANYONE'S face
they make more feminine. it's more difficult to find a surgeon that will make your face masculine
ask the guys around here, the threads about PS in Korea for men have like 2-5 replies
and guys always seem to complain that it's difficult to find information about PS for guys
so you don't have to look for PS to make you look more feminine
because all PS is that already
good luck!
PS is PS everywhere, if you do your research you can find the best PS surgeons of any country but in some cases the best PS surgeon of that country might still not be good enough.
Korea is absolutely better than the United States, "hands down" like they say in the US
there are bad surgeons pretending to be good surgeons everywhere and there are surgeons doing bad surgery and getting away with it everywhere
if you do your research and if you're careful you can avoid those surgeons everywhere
surgery in the US is more expensive and not as good, that's also right
just do your research and you'll be okay.
all surgery is risky
all traffic is risky
but lots of people get jaw surgeries
and multiple surgeries at once
and lots of people ride on the backs of scooters holding on to 5 shopping bags and nothing else speeding down the highway
and most of those people are fine
and some of those people die
the risks are always there, if you're really worried don't get surgery and walk everywhere but then there's not much point to living.
it's good to be careful, it's crazy when people post (here or on kakao) stuff like
hi i'm nina wang
i was born august 13, 1980
i'm 33 years old and i plan to go to korea june 26th 2014
i'll be staying at this hotel
here it is on google maps, see that hotel right there
and i'm planning on doing these procedures
oh i hope i get a good price
like... you know
crazy
hey, you still know me haha. i don't come here often anymore either. i had really different ideas when i started too, about clinics and everything... doing everything at once and so on. but now i plan to divide the procedures and go to korea more than once, it's better to be careful and not rush things
thank you so much for your message actually i now live in a big city with plenty of plastic surgeons around so i can do what you suggested. when i wrote that post i lived in a tiny town with zero plastic surgeons... i was so depressed there haha. but everything's a lot better now though the reason for the move wasn't a happy one but in the end everything worked out fine! i don't know when i plan on going yet, i still have a lot to do and i have to budget everything so i can just go any day i want but hopefully soon this year for sure. good luck with your eyes!
well i moved so i don't have to deal with that annoying supermarket anymore haha! and anyway there was also a mall nearby where i last lived but after the mall closed the annoying supermarket was the only place open nearby so i ended up with imported japanese shower gel/soap bc it was the only placenta free thing they had ; o ;
it's not especially risky on korea, it's risky everywhere. you can find people who died after PS in the West too, and people who had their faces/bodies messed up you can find in every country, it's really sad...
ah, it's annoying to shop in the supermarket closest to me, it's so hard to find any body lotions/moisturizing creams without placenta, what's with the placenta craze...of course in a bigger supermarket there's more selection but weird huh... i guess they just want to sell the more expensive products
oh you know, i started exercising and i'm especially concentrating on these exercises that slim your waist and belly and they really work, i was actually considering lipo at one point bc i never liked my belly even when i was at my smallest but those exercises really work! now i'm confident i will have a flat belly with no lipo! if you just put in the hard work you can get a flat belly too! but it's a lot of work, be ready for it haha... doesn't come free
