After getting a re-revision from him and going through so much pain/torture/recovery, my eyes looked worse than before. One of my eye is so sleepy that EVERYONE who saw me (who are not usually supportive of PS) tell me I NEED to get another revision done. My eyes look extremely unbalanced I’m so effing upset and hopeless now.

 

I visited Dr Park Jae Woo from jwps.kr for a consultation for accusculpt, and I really like him! But I can’t seem to find ANY reviews on him.. if anyone knows anything about this clinic pleaseeee help. I’m currently in Korea and I need to decide soon! I will be sharing my review once I am done with the surgery!

 

The story goes like this...

I had x2 fat graft with fresh plastic surgery clinic couple of years ago. I didn’t like the way the fat graft looked on my cheeks but they HIGHLY recommended me to do it. So I went ahead with it.

Few years down the road, my cheeks still look too bulky and fat so I decide I want to do fat removal on my cheeks. So I went to a few clinics and also back to fresh since they know my situation better. Guess what, they told me that they think my cheeks look too huge too and they recommend fat removal on my cheeks! In the first place, they were the ones who insisted I should inject fats there. Ok nvm, so I asked for a quote and they quote me

2.5 mil for x1 fat removal
2 mil for fat graft with no touch ups, with touch up prolly around 2.5 mil

They say I will be able to see a subtle change. Ok fine, that’s kind of what I want.. but the price is kinda crazy especially with the fact that they screwed up my face first!

So just today, I decided to ask my Korean friend to help me get a quote before going down. Apparently, the quote was

1.5 mil for X1 fat removal
2.5 mil for X3 fat removal
1.6 for fat graft + touch up!

SO THE DIFFERENCE BTW THE LOCAL PRICE AND THE FOREIGNER PRICE IS LIKE NEARLY X2! 3 mil vs 5 mil!!!

Unbelievable

Considering the fact that they were the ones who screwed up my face in the first place, I am really pissed. The English consultant even said that it was the LOWEST they can go.. 5mil..

anyway, does anyone know a Korean translator(preferably lady) I can hire to help me bargain the price? I am sooo done with the English consultant there.. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Experience with Teuim:
I've had ptosis correction, epi and DES with Dr Kwon last year. I wanted to get even double eyelids but he said it was not possible without epi. I was kind of unwilling to go through epi, but I decided to listen to him. I was charged about 5 mil won and there was absolutely no room for nego.
Dr Kwon is a very straight to the point kind of doctor and my eyes turned out fine. Unfortunately I still have weak muscle on my left eye and I think he pretty much screwed that one small part up(it's just that ONE point on my eye). I went back to him and he was willing to help me redo that part for free.
Unfortunately I am very hesitant to let him touch my eyes again because while the results were ok, the process was A PAIN IN THE AS*. He uses ketamine (a drug) and I had really bad hallucinations and was making strange engine-like noise prior to the surgery. When I woke up(I had to be awake for the surgery), I thought the surgery was over and I asked him, "finished?" He say no, and I CRIED IMMEDIATELY. He calmed me down and the whole process of the surgery was so painful for me. I got injected about 10 times but the effects keep wearing off, so I was in pain.. I am pretty sure I am one of his rare cases because after the surgery, he said "very difficult" and that I was his most difficult patient. LOL
I think it's just me but I am sooo unwilling to go through the same process again.

Experience with Fresh:
I had X2 fat graft at fresh and I find them pretty good. I was knocked out before I knew it and overall I would recommend them for fat graft. I especially like the fact that they have standard pricing so you know you are NOT ripped off or anything. Unfortunately for me though, I didn't really liked the full face look on me (you know, the typical Korean look), and I REALLY hated the fat graft on my cheeks. I went to a dermatologist clinic to get some fat melting injections on my cheeks, and now my cheeks are fine. BUT it somehow spilled over to the area under my cheeks, beside my mouth and now i have this very sunken look and I hate it.

Now the thing is, I am hoping to find a clinic that can fix my eyes and do fat graft at the same time. I know exactly which clinics are good for fat graft and which are good for eyes, but I am really hoping to do both at the same time because I hate going through surgery twice (and they are both sooo minor).

CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE REGARDING THIS?
ANY GOOD CLINICS THAT DO BOTH EYES AND FAT GRAFT WELL WITHOUT OVERCHARGING FOREIGNERS?

Last but not least, I do notice that the clinics mentioned on purseforum are pretty much the same few clinics, while they ARE pretty good clinics, there are TONSSS of clinics that I've heard from Koreans, that aren't even mentioned in the whole forum.
IN FACT, I cannot even find them on Google!

Here are the clinics I would recommend you check out for eyes:

EYES
Teuim (there are def some bad reviews, but EVERY clinic has bad reviews)
JW (many locals there when I visited, i have friends who did their eyes there, look for Dr Choi)
Jewelry (good for dramatic)
Gio (totally NOT mentioned in this forum, but i've heard from Korean friends and seen real life pictures, good for Epi Reversal & Revision)
Item (Dr Chung is good BUT they overcharge foreigners)
Kiwi (can't even find on Google, but korean friend recommended)

OMG there are soooo many more but these are the ones at the top of my head. I REALLY hope MORE people recommend and share about clinics that are popular among locals and not just foreigners!

I will update my list for other parts next time, but right now I am getting really anxious because I am going to Korea in 2 weeks and I have yet to book any consultations!

Guys please recommend a good clinic that does EYES AND FAT GRAFT WELL + DON'T OVERCHARGE FOREIGNERS?

I am travelling to Korea in 2 weeks time to get PS and I am desperately looking for a translator because some of the clinics I am planning to visit cater mostly to locals and don't have any English translators. I am panicking because I haven't booked any consultations and my trip is in 2 weeks time!

Anyway, I am looking for a trustworthy translator who doesn't take commission and cuts from clinics because I know a lot of translators does that. I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can recommend one to me!

I consulted JW, ID, Renewme(these are the ones who replied me). I have yet to hear from the rest. 2mil sounds much more reasonable but I don't know which clinics charge reasonably and does a good job

I had two fat grafts done a few years back, I liked the fats on my forehead and temples, but the ones on my cheek just made my cheeks too chubby and it also left my smile line looking too deep and prominent.

I am visiting Korea next month and I intend to get acculift/accusculpt to get rid of the fats. I consulted a few big clinics and they all quoted me 3-4mil! I personally think that it is a ridiculous price to pay and I believe there are a lot of smaller clinics which can do the same procedures for much lesser.

I really hope someone can recommend me a good clinic for acculift/accusculpt because I can't read or write any Korean so it's been really tough. I will sooooooo grateful if anyone can offer help on the clinics to check out :'(

I have been on thread a few years ago while I was researching for DES, then I chose to do it at girin, and now I am back searching for a clinic for a revision!

Anyway, I am visiting Korea really really soon, in about 2 weeks time and I am kinda freaking out cause I havent booked any consultations.

It's really hard to do research because a lot of the clinics that are recommended on purse forum are catered more to the foreigners. I can't speak or read Korean but I am looking for one that is actually good and popular in Korea.

I asked one or two of Korean friends and they both recommended clinics that are not even mentioned in this forum at all.

I did a lot of research and had it done at Girin. They did an ok job and I was happy for a while, until my non-incisional ptosis correction came off and my eyes looked sleepy again. Also, I did not like the way the lateral looked. my eyes just look droppy.

Unbelievable. They totally decided to ignore all the questions I asked them.

I am really appalled by the way they reply to my emails and I was almost 90% sure I will do the surgery with them but now I am confused. They seem to be very money conscious and only concerned about my budget. I am quite turned off by the way they reply to me. I will still be visiting them but I am putting my hopes somewhere else.

Anyone heard of THELINE CLINIC? they offer the same procedures as TL at a cheaper price. I have emailed them a week ago but yet to receive any reply. If anyone heard of any reviews of THELINE CLINIC please let me know! I am quite interested in them but haven't heard of any reviews.
