1. Really? I don't think it's that cheap o.o From my research, it's kinda standard pricing for foreigners? I heard that locals pay 300k for double eyelid [not incl. epi or anything else]. I've read heaps of good things about Teuim in the few years I've been researching on and off. I'm quite positive I'll get it done by them. It helps reassure me that Dr Kwon has done a lot of published research in the double eyelid and epicanthoplasty procedures and he created his own magic epi method; so he's got a lot of experience in the field! Just read around on Teuim reviews. I want a natural result, so I think Teuim will be good. If you want a more dramatic dolly look, I don't think Teuim would be the right place to go.

Edit: Just got a quote from Dream Medical Group; which was a secondary choice. Kinda miffed that they suggest I get ptosis because I definitely don't need it =.= And they ignored what I wrote about wanting epi and didn't give me a price quote on that at all :/ Kinda puts me off them more.. heh.

Anyway, for Dream Plastic Surgery,
Incisional: 3.14m
Non-incisional: 1.88m
DES+ptosis: 3.46-4.71m

2. Hey K, do you know much about Dream's rep for double eyelid surgery?

3. Do you know anything on Girin, Siwoo or Fresh Plastic? From looking at marir's compilation of before/after photos, those 3 are on my radar. If Dr Kwon is still working when I go, I really want to get it done with him though  I feel I can truly trust him. I don't know any other really good eye doctors though they say Dr Cho from Bandoeye is good for revision.

Yeah it's true most kpop idols wont ever admit it, but it's really obvious they HAVE had work done (some more obvious than others). G.Na has admitted to getting work done and has endorsed in Cinderella. I really like natural eyes though and I wonder if Cinderella would want me to go a bit more dramatic than I want :/

Anyway, for anyone interested in emailing Cinderella Clinic with their photos for a price quote, their email is . They will take 1-2 weeks to respond though!

4. Excellent point! That's why I don't think people should be so focused on clinic reputation ^^" There might be one really good doctor amongst a lot of crappy doctors in there and maybe eventually he will start his own clinic when he has made enough money.

And yeah, if theres only a tiiiny amount, it looks cute at times.. But most of the time it's overdone so it looks like girls have tiny fat sausages on their lower lids.. LOL and it makes them look more alienish ^^" I think girls look a lot prettier with no love bands but biggish cute eye shapes.

p.s. I wish I was going in Nov!! Bella, are you getting eyelid surgery by any chance?

5. Is aegyosal love bands? There's a lot that are overdone.. :/ Most look so fake

6. Hey sarajane! It really depends on what surgery you want to get done? And what result you want (natural or dramatic dolly eyes). What Cinderella quoted me was NOT just for double eyelid surgery. If it was, that would just be insanity. They quoted me 5.7million won for 3 procedures: double eyelid surgery (incisional), medial epicanthoplasty and lateral epicanthoplasty. The 2 epi procedures were suggested to open up my eyes a bit. I say expensive as the cost is a lot more than my original budget which was around 3million won for DES and medial epi (not that the price is exorbitantly more than other clinics).. I've come to realize that I do actually want medial epi which initially I did not want. So I was really shocked that they suggested I do lateral as well.. So I will need to think more about that and whether I think I need it..

I won't compare Cinderellas price to other budget clinics. For just eyelid surgery alone, their price is 2.2M won. From my research, all the clinics that I personally would feel safe going to have been charging around 1.5M for DES and I'm fine with that price. If you add in medial epi (costs about 1000-1800M won at the places I've looked?), it can cost over 3M won already which is why I wanted a budget of 3M for those 2 so I could bargain down and be firm on that cost if I got a package. If have no idea how much lateral is but say it also costs around 1.5M won, at a different place, it'd cost at least 4.5M won. Cinderella charges 5.7M won for that. 1.2M won is $1,200 AUD and that's significant money! Of course, you could try bargain from Cinderella so it might be cheaper!

BUT look, at the end of the day, this is a really important life changing moment, right? It's about improving your life and making yourself happy. If you feel Cinderella is THE place to get your eyes done and you feel totally safe with that decision, I say don't skimp out on the costs and go to a cheaper place just because of cost. It's not like you're going to be getting this surgery every year lol. It's a one time thing and if it makes you happy, then the premium is worth it for you (so long you dont take a loan out to get it done.. hope you save enough! XD) If it's well done, you won't need revisional so that could end up saving you money by going to a place that's more expensive and well reviewed (not saying there arent good small clinics. DO LOTS OF RESEARCH). All I ask you to do is make sure you do lots of research on heaps of clinics and be well informed on all your options. There may very well be a clinic you like just as much as Cinderella  Always have back up options in case things don't work out.

7. no, I don't think so  They just name it circle eye but it's just for double eyelid. It's similar to the prices I've seen from other posters. Someone got quoted 6mil for the full circle eye surgery which I assume would include both medial and lateral epi with double eyelid surgery.. ahh

i'm not saying the price isnt a rip off but i think its their price for foreigners  probably heaps cheaper for locals..

and where can i get a translator that doesnt work for the clinics? :O been wondering that for a while since people were against the ones that got commission. i may need one >.<

8. I originally crossed Cinderella out from my list because I knew they'd be extremely expensive but in my email to them, I asked if it was possible to make my eyes like a certain person and their explanation makes me reconsider them... wuah

Sharing their email here in case it helps someone else! They first explained what sort of eye shape the girl I mentioned had and I like how they then explain what each procedure will achieve and 'fix' in order to create the look and I also like their emphasis on precision and measurement.. A lot of stars go there, I know that. But there isn't a lot of information on them to go by so I don't know.. :x

Any thoughts, guys?

9. Omg I finally got an email from Cinderella Clinic!!! Their prices make me want to cry...

They say it's just an estimate:

Cinderella Multi-dimensional Celebrity Circle Eyes 2,200,000 won ~
Circle Epi. 1,700,000 won ~
Circle Lat. 1,700,000 won ~
Total: 5.6M won

I don't want lateral epicanthoplasty but they seem to suggest it.. .__. I just wanted double eyelid surgery originally but now I'm fine with medial epi but lateral seems a bit excessive?? >.< Omg my max max budget that I had was 3M won for both epi and eyelid surgery  And I was hoping it'd be less than 2.5M.

10. Ohh but marir mentioned before that she only asked the girls for their before/after shots if she thought their transformation was impressive and dramatic (since she was interested in getting a dramatic makeover). I don't think her documents reflect which one clinics are popular though, just the ones that would be suited for people who want a dramatic transformation.

Does befor PS refer to the clinic that used to be Dream? Ahh I wish I could do more research on all those >.<"

11. I dunno, I've never actually heard of poor aftercare from them. The recounts I've read all spoke well of them.. so I don't know :/

12. I'll agree that Regen probably isn't the best for revision. I think Bandoeye would be a strong option for eye revision as I've read they've performed near miracles fixing cases that other doctors said weren't going to be possible. But shinyglittery, why do you keep recommending against Regen? :/ Isn't Cinderella just as "famous" if not moreso than Regen? I wouldn't write off clinics just because they're really famous or popular but I'd take more caution. I think you should research more about the doctors if you can. I've read good things about their aftercare but I think what matters the most is if a doctor is competent. Especially if you're just doing eyes, after care isn't really necessary. If you had to do jaw/cheekbones, that's a different story. You need a good doctor that will listen to you.

13. From my research, it's fairly popular! :O I don't know if it's the top ones though. How do you find out which ones are the most talked about? I've tried searching on Naver but it just gives me cafes that have the mentioned term ._. Could you share the top 15? I'd like to look into those ^^

p.s. I'll reply to your PM later! At work atm haha XD

14. From my research, Regen is pretty popular amongst locals too? :S Where did you read that they're not popular?

15. Mm Lautan makes a good point. I didn't know you were planning to wear it every day. Especially since your planned date for surgery is more than 6 months away, it would honestly sag too much for the tape to make a double eyelid (it would just look like you taped skin together). This happened to me after wearing tape every day just for 3 weeks! I suggest you just wear it when you go out and want to pretty up a bit ^^ And also when removing them, don't just peel it off. Use an oil and dab it over your eyelids so the adhesive will be gone and then you can remove them without tugging on your skin.

16. Cool cool, thanks!! you're doing a lot for the small community here! I'd be open to them if they turn out to be really good with locals. Only Teium and Regen are left on my list and I'm really sad Teium might be closed for good.. I hope not

17. I can't answer Q1 and 3 and am curious about the answers myself but about eyelid tape, it can stretch your eyelid skin and make it sag as it is already quite thin and delicate. If you're absolutely certain that you will get a full incision for double eyelid surgery, then I say that's fine. If someone wanted a non-incision or partial incision (used to remove excess fat only), then it's obviously not a good idea to use the tape because you won't be able to remove the excess skin.

18. Girins before/after photos do look quite impressive! But I wonder what the whole experience is getting PS there? I haven't read any recounts of internationals going there. Ah sucks I still can't figure out naver :/

19. I don't think you should badmouth Regen like that just because they're a big clinic. I've yet to read someones experience that they were treated coldly or had a botched surgery there. The service seems friendly and helpful and overall it seems like a good place to go for natural results. I get the whole factory thing (like BK and ID), but you really shouldn't lump ALL big plastic surgery clinics into that generalization unless you know people from every single clinic that has had terrible experiences there :S
