For those of you who have sparse eyebrows and looking to fill them in OR for those of you who have receding hairlines, this post is for you. I will share my story of my my Eyebrow Hair Implant Surgery at Dr. Momo, Seoul, Korea

CONSULTATION
I had my consultation on January 10, 2014 with Dr. Lee for an eyebrow transplant. I had this surgery performed nearly two years ago in America but I desired more hair follicles to create a more natural look. Dr. Lee was really wonderful: he listened to my concerns and was patient in explaining the procedure. He specializes in all areas of hair transplants and I heard he performed hair transplants on public figures. His the before/after results are very natural.
BONUS: Dr. Lee studied in America so speaks fluent English!

DAY OF SURGERY :January 14, 2013
When I arrived to the clinic, the nurse escorted me to change into a comfortable hospital gown. Soon after I sat down with Dr. Lee and we discussed the shape/design of my brows. Next I was led to the surgery room where Dr. Lee injected local anesthesia in the back of my head to harvest hair to be used for my brows. He has a very gentle touch and it was minimal pain. During the procedure, I was very comfortable and watched TV on the big flat screen in the surgery room.

The surgery went by fast and I am already loving the shape. I highly recommend Dr. Lee from Momo Clinic. If your looking for excellent service and top class hair transplants, I found the best hair transplant doctor in Korea!

wow.. my first time here and I find this great thread! i think its great how everyone is so open about their bodies. i recently had my calves operated on as well in korea at the oz clinic about 2 1/2 weeks ago. so far i cant really tell b/c i think my legs have swelled up and i was devastated after removing the bandages a few days ago and discovering that they were basically the same size before the operation but just a few days before they were noticeably smaller. i know it takes up to a year to see the final results but im a very impatient person. can anyone else who has done this offer any advice or progress reports? anything would be helpful. thanks!

Happy 80, you are 6 years post calf muscle removal. How do your calves look? Are your muscles smaller? Have you accumulated any fat/fluid deposits in place of your muscles?

Hi, I am going to have my surgery at REAL tomorrow. He suggested me to do incision+epi+lateral epi ( open the outer corner of the eye). I am still not sure whether I will do lateral...because many told me that it does not make your eye big that much and your eyes may become even smaller. I am wondering have you done lateral epi or do you know anyone who has done it? How do you like your eyes with Dr. Kim so far? Is he very famous for local korean?

Woa, that's scary. I couldn't understand the video bc it's in Chinese but the fact that other people are performing the surgery is scary! How much does he offer you back and how did you findout someone else performed your surgery?

I did full face fat grafting. Forehead, cheek, and upper eyelid. I love it! It is three weeks post op for me. I like nature looking, so I told my surgeon to make it nature looking. I don't know how much my fat will absorb, but it really does not matter that much to be honest. I mean at least some will stay, right? And you will look better than before anyway.
I am in my early twenties, but after this fat grafting, I look even younger. This is great! Fat grafting is super popular in Seoul.
I did mine at Regen. It is said though for better result, you should do it for a second time after 3-4 months.
If you are only interested in fat grafting, maybe you should check out faceline. I feel that Dr Lee is very good at it. Just be sure to tell him maybe not put too much, because I looked at their B&A pictures and I feel they like that fuller face look. LOL.
And one foumer told me that Cinderella is good. Her friend did it at Cinderella and most of the fat stayed. I am very intrigued, but it was after I have done mine at Regen.
Still, I feel fat grafting is easy procedure, normally people just get it done together with other surgeries. For example, if you do your nose, then the surgeon for your nose could do the fat grafting for you. Fat grafting is to make your final result perfect, you know, to make your face more balanced and 3D

I just met up with Dr. Kang from IOU as he was going to be my #1 surgeon that I planned on seeing. My heart feels like he is the best for revisional surgery and told me that there is a 95% chance that it will be successful. He was spot on telling me my crease is 6.5 mm and would look best at 5mm. I had my cousin (local Korean) with me who did all the talking. They really do charge you more if you're a "foreigner" because they want to make money off of you. I really did get mine for cheap with Dr. Kang. I also stopped at Pintagui which is across the street, my heart didn't feel that Dr. would perform a good revision surgery and tried pushing lateral canthoplasty, lower bleph, and other things I didn't need. I wouldn't recommend going there.

Sorry, pressed reply too soon! Clammie, can you share the scar formation process and timeline? When does the scar incision close up? When does it turn dark/lighten up? Did you aye any scar gels or sheets? Do you massage daily?

I did mine in BKK. Experienced lumpiness till around 3 months and everything smoothed out. The only not-so-good part is the scars and loose skin.

After going through several consultations, my friend decided to go with ITEM for double eyelid surgery. Her eyes look very natural and nice! She is Korean and lived there for a few years. I think it's best that you go for in person consultations first and speak with the doctor and view the before/after results.
