1. Did everybody see this? I remember her being the model for April 31 and it's been already 3 years for her? OMG she is so beautiful! I'm always wondering.. why didn't they offer me that? I mean.. I've heard she got pretty good discount for being the model. I don't mind using my pictures or video if they give me a really good deal. It has been 3 years for me too.. do you think I can ask them for some money by letting them use my current pictures or videos? Hmm...

2. awwww thank you so much Scandinavia! Yes, it is! But that was like 2 months after the surgery. Now it has been over 3.5 years and I think the tip is slightly droopier than that picture. I ask my friends and they tell me I'm obsessed and they cannot really tell the difference. But I'm soooo sure that it got slightly droopier than the first year after the surgery. Oh, well, still not to the level of my disliking so once again.. cannot complain I guess.

3. I had a contracted/upturned nose because of slight infection after my 2nd rhino. Got the revision at April 31. It's been more than 3 years and my tip is really soft now compared to my previous nose(s). I can move it to the sides and everything and slightly upward as well(piggy nose) but not all the way up like they(April) have said. But they did tell me before the surgery that the tip is a bit harder for revisions so.. no complaints.

4. OMG I don't believe what I've just read. Really?! It is your freedom to think however you want to but what and who gave you the right to judge or criticize her?! If you want to sound smart or show off how logical you can sound, please go to another place for it. You have never been in the same shoes, so easy for you to say. I had 3 nose surgeries myself in total. First one was ok, but not to my satisfaction so had a second surgery then unfortunate infection took place. Removed everything but contracture/piggy nose started happening so had my last revision. Sure, it is only myself to blame to get "greedy" after the first surgery but that is part of what and why this whole forum is made and is based on. She was brave enough to share her tragic story even when she probably doesn't even want to think about it again.. or maybe she wanted to air-out? I'm not saying you have to give fake supports. Fine if you don't want to or think you should. But didn't you mama teach you? If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything.

5. Hi, Rockisbae!! Thank you for your INSANELY detailed review! lol Oh, so Brian is not there anymore? Have you tried his personal kakaotalk? When I had my nose surgery years ago at April 31, Brian used his own kakaotalk. But when I reached him again for my breast surgery, he was using april31en instead of that funny kakao ID he used to have. I don't remember exactly but he had the word "devil" in his original ID and I laughed so hard and told him it wouldn't be the best ID for his job? lol Anyways, glad to know at least you are happy with your result, I'm planning on visiting Korea again so was going to give Brian a shout... hope he replies... he has been a fun company for my previous trips(sometimes too friendly so I was even "confused" until he told me about his girlfriend.. hmm.. I bet he is a player!!)

6. Thank you so much for sharing, NadineP. I also underwent some hard time after a botched nose job and got my revision by Dr.Jae Kim at April!! I cannot dare to say I feel how difficult your time must have been with such history but as a person who also had suffered from a contracted nose, I genuinely felt very very happy for you after reading all your posts!(I've read all the way to part III and I haven't been that focused even when I was studying for my exams! hehe Wish you all the best in your recovery!

7. Hi, Purseforumers. I might have to boldly ask for your advices again. As some of you already know, I had quite satisfying revision nose surgery at April 31 about a bit less than 4 years ago. Then I got greedy and went for the next one on my bucket list. BA surgery. Since I was really happy with my nose and fat graft at April I decided to just go with them again. It has been like 2 and a half years and so far.. I will give about 7~8/10 for the breast result. I got teardrop implant and I sure am happy with the shape. The reason I cannot really say 10 out of 10 is 1) I wanted a bit bigger. They recommended something more natural. Cannot blame them 100% for it since it is me who has agreed to it anyways but it has always been in my mind "what if I have just gone for a half cup bigger?"(From A to C... C- is what I had. I wanted D cup but they told me it might not be so natural considering my chest width and my ethnic background) But more than the size(still am quite happy and sure did give me more confidence), 2) it is the texture I am a bit more concerned about. They did tell me that round type implant will give softer feelings but I just.. thought teardrop was "da shxt" at that moment. My breasts are not hard or anything right now but... they are not 100% smooth like my own. Maybe I am being too unrealistic to expect that? Anyways, if some of you remember, one of the main reasons I first had my revision rhinoplasty and fat injection at April was because I have quite a bit of Korean friends who live in Korea and they recommended the clinic to me. And for my ba, I was just satisfied with my experience with the clinic so it is true that I didn't do much research and just went for the same clinic. Enough of the history, the main reason I am writing this post is! Have you heard of Microtan? Micro polyurethane? implant? My local Korean friends recently informed me that this is the latest implant in Korea that came out as more advanced version than Motiva implant and not that many clinics in Korea are using them yet because the implant itself is quite expensive. Like the premium implant kind? And of course, April being April..(they love depicting themselves as high ends, expensive, premium, luxury... well as long as I feel safe and am happy with the result, I don't mind. I can save some money from my other expenses when it comes to my face and body. But the thing is... there is no clear line to say that it is really worth it? For me, I shouldn't complain. Especially I have already experienced a botched nose job from another clinic and was diagnosed as "a complicated revision case" from many clinics. But still, their price is undoubtly very high), oops sorry. anyways, it seems like April 31 is one of the very few? only? plastic surgery clinics that have launched this implant at this point. I asked Brian directly to give me some more information or convincing details about it and he sounded very surprised by the fact that I already know about this? lol He was genuinely shocked and said he is scared of "our" resources. haha And unfortunately, he couldn't provide much other than his own words to describe since the "promotional materials" haven't been made yet. They just got started on this and even some Koreans don't know about this yet is what he said. And then his typical.. we don't really advertise blah blah blah.. just in case he reads this, Brian, you know I love you although I say mean things about you all the time. ;) So please help me here! Have you ever heard of this implant? Is it really the latest "da shxt"? Do you think it is worth going for my ba revision? Anybody who has some experience with micro..polyurethane implant or revision breast surgery, please help!! I do think of Brian as my friend at this point since we have been talking for almost 4 years now but some of you will know.. talking to him a lot will just make me get it done before I know it. He is just.. good at what he is doing let me say. He already has started brainwashing me on this new breast specialist and how advanced and expensive this implant is and all and I don't think talking to him is a good idea at this stage. Because I have that urge(travel bug.. well.. plastic surgery bug I call it for me) again since I've been kind of thinking of revision time to times "if" there were any other or more advanced options so was already in dilemma with motiva implant.. but was holding myself down telling me "it's not like there is something wrong with my breasts now... I'm just being greedy now.." but then when I heard that a more advanced and latest one just came out I kind of snapped and started looking for my air flights and stuff!! But kind of got back to my senses and now asking for your help my dear Purseforumers. Maybe I'm looking for someone to stop me. Or more positive support? Anything is good. Please do share your experience or opinions for me!!

8. You are welcome. And I am sorry but please PM me if you have any private questions. I had.. not so pleasant experience with sharing my personal messenger last time when I first posted my surgery experience. It is nothing personal to you please do not get offended or anything. Sincerely hope you understand, Gantz!!

9. Hehe, we are talking about the same person. Kim is his last name. Dr.Jae Hoon Kim. Yes, I still like it. Not only the shape but how my tip got softer over the time. In my previous surgery it was very hard and stiff. But now I can even rotate it! (Thanks to this my new bf doesn't know I had nose job. hehe Not that I was intentionally hiding though. He just assumed I didn't have one and it was kinda awkward for me to say I actually did...)

10. Hope me sharing my experience can give reassurance to some people. I had my nose surgery almost 3 years ago.(2yrs and 9 months to be exact) I was kinda ok with my nose even after two weeks from the surgery but was a bit worried about the possible "over-projection" of my tip. It wasn't like my nose was ugly overall but I just found it a bit unnatural with such a high tip when I'm Asian. But still couldn't complain since it was my revision case and my first nose job gave me a trauma... so i was telling myself it's still better than my previous nose even though it wasn't "perfect". But after a few more weeks of deswelling, it became much smaller and natural to my 99% satisfaction!(I'm sorry but I don't believe in 100% in anything. lol) Then another worry came to my mind. "What if both my tip and bridge keep getting lower and lower?". Since the doctor told me the complete healing? de-swelling? will gradually take place over 6 months. Well, to my relief, the tip got a bit smaller and the bridge looked a bit.. umm.. slimmer? but it still remained as 98% perfect nose for my liking. I loved it. I was(and still am) very happy and felt much more confident.(was suffering a lot from the previous botched nose). Then my next concern was "what if it droops?!". I bothered my translator(now I'm confident to call him my friend since we talked for almost 3 years now hehe) a lot and he was honest enough to tell me that every human's nose tip droops as one ages. But he reassured me that my tip was made of my own cartilage so there won't be any complications or a sudden collapse/drooping. He also told me to focus less on my nose for some time for my own happiness. Now it's been almost 3 years. Long story short, I'm still happy, don't regret my decisions and definitely not in need of another revision. Who knows down the road after like 10 years but from what I monitored for 3 years I don't think any major complication or change will take place anytime soon. Sometimes I feel my tip angle got a bit downward but then one day I see the mirror I don't notice any difference.(so maybe it's in my head? nah... I'm sure it became at least teeny tiny more downward). But I think it actually is becoming more natural for my face. Like really becoming my own nose.. hard to explain lol. The reason I'm writing this post is that... I've been there. I've been through a lot of stress and concerns, many nights of fear, many paranoid days, I was even undergoing depression after my first nose surgery. I hope it's less hard for other people who are undergoing plastic surgery by reading my positive post. I wish my successful experience with happy ending helps other people by giving at least a bit of reassurance.

11. I'm planning from Feb.12th to open ticket since I'm not sure how long I should stay after the breast surgery. People told me 10days should be enough but still.. I want to make sure I fully recover before coming back to my country. Maybe we can meet up on 13th? LOL

12. I meant I got it from April 31. Super happy about the result and the translator so I'm considering the clinic for my breast as well. But still not sure because they seem like they are known for the nose. Don't know if their breast doctor is also good. Well going to see a few clinics for consultation. Nope, didn't book the ticket yet but I'm considering mid Feb. First time in Korea, huh? Yeah I feel you. It can be scary but don't worry too much, a clumsy girl like me could do it so I'm sure you will be fine!!

13. Hi all!!
OMG I haven't been here nor checked my email for soooo long and I came back to apologize to those who wrote me an email asking about the clinic information!! I made that "naver" email only for my ps journey use since I've heard some clinics in Korea charge you a bit cheaper if it seems like you know Korea well or you have Korean friends.
I got my surgery from April 31 ps clinic by Dr. Jae Hoon Kim because some of my Chinese friends told me that he is the best in nose job or something. I don't think I can email each one of you back again so here, i just said it. Since I'm not 100% innocent now, mentioning the name of the clinic I got my surgery from, I will share another story.
After sharing my pictures and experience here in Purseforum really carefully so that I'm not promoting anything, April31 clinic actually reached me asking if i was ok with my pictures on on-line anyways, might as well give them the right to use them in trade of 500,000 won refund?! I had no reason to say no, so now my selfies with my eyes censored are on their blogs lol. So anybody who wants to save about 500$ from your surgery cost, I think asking your clinic can be an option. That was my last tip for you and I don't think I will really come back here... at least for a while since I know there are some people in this forum who will start hating me from now. Believe it or not, I don't blame you. This whole plastic surgery in a foreign country thing with all those unethical ones who try to make some money off our face and life, it really makes you "believe nobody". Which is a smart thing I say, better being careful than sorry. Bye everybody and thank you one more time for all the information and support I got from here. I sincerely wish you all the best in your ps journey!!

15. Hi, everyone! Did you miss me?:P It's been quite a while since my last visit here and there are two reasons I came back! First.. I'm terribly sorry to those who I couldn't reply the emails! That naver email was for just a temporary use(only for my ps journey, I've heard that using naver email kinda gives the clinics the impression that I'm familiar with Korea or have local friends or something, just in case they try to pull foreigner rip-off XD) Thus I didn't check that email box for a while after replying some emails from those who emailed me within 2 days from my post. Didn't think more would come gradually. Well I was wrong and I just found out that a lot of members have been emailing me until even today! To a few I could reply back but it kind of became too much and I don't want more people thinking that I've ignored them in the future so I just decided to post the surgeon's name.
I had my surgery by Dr.Kim Jae Hoon from April31 clinic. Some of my Chinese friends told me that he is like the best rhinoplasty surgeon in Korea so I did some research and went for it. Although I was happy with their b&a pics from their blogs, I still visited 3 other clinics just in case before I made my final decision. Anyways, I saw many mentioning the clinic's name that they had their surgeries with so I thought it would be ok to just mention the clinic's name. I really hope I don't get blocked because of my seconde reason that I came back here! Yes...I got greedy..now I want BA, LOL! It's like chapter 3 for me LOL. The information searching&sharing phase again! So it seems like I will be around for a while again my dear friends.

ps - Some emailed me sharing their current situation and ps history...I'm terribly sorry to hear about all the agony you have to go through. I was there, I know what it is like. Trust me, you are not alone and everything will work out! I really wish all the best in all of you's ps journey. But hope you don't get greedy like me after a successful surgery! I mean...look at my ID! I was so sincere and meant it when I first made that ID..when I was suffering from a failed surgery. But now I want to be happier LOL!

ps 2 - Many asked for my frontal view picture so..

somehow I cannot attach an image now! Oh, well I will send it through email to those who asked for it but pls do not share it with anybody else!

17. Thank you very much neverperfect! and I wish all the best in your journey, I'm sure your result will be filled with great happiness.

I didn't have any osteotomy. The doctor used silicon implant and since my previous one was too high he changed it to a bit lower one but I do not remember the exact mm. It wasn't L-strut, he just carved/shortened a straight one to fit my nose, only to the middle of my nose and the tip was done with my own cartilage.
Is it ok to just share the name of doctor/clinic here? I mean..I would love to since I'm pleased with my result and their service but I don't want to be accused for anything.

[email protected] This is my temporary email I made only for the use of my ps journey so you can email me if you want the detail information. Sorry but I've seen some controversies here. Once again, best wishes in your journey, you are not alone!
