I don't have much comparison because I knew quite clearly what I was going for. But I didn't find the place old at all! Very clinical, white place and pretty comfortable. Depends what's your priority I guess. To me it's really the doctor's skills
I think I know what you mean. Well for be because of the limited time I had in Korea, what I did was I actually made my appointment for surgery on the same day. I had to pay 500 USD to make the appointment. It's a deposit. And I thought if I didn't like the consultation I will forfeit the amount. not sure how the rest of the clinics work though.
Just last month with BANOBAGI. There's loads of yummy food but if you are doing full works then maybe you should watch your diet. I did only eyelid surgery so I was feasting myself silly!
You don't really need a translator if you speak English or mandarin. Hebe, the consultant converses well. My guess is that she could be overwhelmed with the influx of enquiries. If you really need to get her, give her a call? I called her too prior to my surgery. Might make things easier for both of you. Just a suggestion
I did! Especially when I couldn't remove the purple marker lines on my face. It was quite hilarious. I was wearing my shades even at night when I was roaming around the streets.
Pretty okay. I think it looks kinda natural. my mil didn't even ask me about it so I am not sure if that's a good thing or not but my friends think the double eyelids are cool!
Hey before I forget, Remember to avoid fizzy drinks after your op. I had coke and I almost ripped my stitches when I burped. Ok abit exaggerated here but you won't want that unnecessary scare. Good luck once again. Xoxo
Yes you can! All the convenience stores have them. Thanks for sharing. I thought I would cut down the carbs and just go straight for the seeds. Just so that I can keep my stomach for more Korean food. Terrible I know! how did your friend's nose go?
Hey ladies. Ok sorry I haven't been very clear. I paid 5k USD for canthoplasty and non incisional (double embedding). Was all prepared to go incisional but Dr Lee said it wasn't necessary. I think he assesses this based on skin condition. My eyes do hurt a little when I blink but it's totally bearable. I am out eating bibimbap as I am typing this. I did tell Dr Lee what I would like to have but he and hebe was honest to tell me that it really depends on the base of your eye shape.
I didn't stay in the guest house so sorry I can't really share that.
Dr Lee is polite, friendly and I felt that I could trust him given the good reviews here. My swelling has gone down, no bruises but still puffy and I have been eating loads of pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Multi vits too! But I have also been bad. The Korean food is too good to give it a miss, really.: )
Btw girls banobagi will provide a little pouch with two eye cooler masks and a pack of cotton buds (quite sufficient I didn't even get to use those I have brought over and don't think I will) And antiseptic. Meds are about 30USD which hebe will bring u to get them after the op. U will be well taken care of for sure!! I am already thinking of getting my nose done now!
Thanks for your well wishes amandamoo23. Dr Lee did the surgery for me and he said non-incisional should work for me! I am a little shy and more so my eyes are really swollen so I don't think I am ready to share my pictures yet
Good luck with your trip. Let us know how it goes!
Welcome amandamoo23. Surgery was on Saturday and I was well taken care by Hebe! My eyes were slightly uncomfortable on Saturday but had loads of sleep and was up and running today and spent my day shopping! There has been slight rain, really light drizzle that you could do without a brolly if you didn't have any surgery. But you might just want to bring along a cap. It could free up your both hands as you shop and keep your wounds free from the rain!
No worries - happy to give my thoughts and share whatever I know!
My appointment is with Dr Lee too. A pity we can't be doing ours around the same time, but I'll be sharing my experience too when I am done! =)
Actually I have my surgery booked too for this Saturday but they didn't ask about the passport. I am sure they have a scanner in the hospital so it is not necessary for you to provide them at this point. I am also bringing cash because according to them this gives me a better deal. She didn't mention that this is the only way though.
