I will not be posting here anymore. But I just wanted to warn you guys to stop reading all these hypes here. Clinics watch this forum, and popularise themselves by hidden users. If u wanna do ur own research, learn Korean or use a Google translator to know what is up
Hey guys. An update here after 2 years. I can no longer recommend April31 and I suggest you guys look up on soyoung website to fully understand what you are getting.
I was young, and kind and made used of by a certain translator who works there. I was not paid to post this but rather I wanted to do something for them for the seemingly kind gestures by them at the start. Plastic surgery clinics are scheming and cunning. Please make sure you know what u are getting.
Thanks for the appreciation there. I think i'm doing really fine, it feels like normal nose except i can't dig my nose. April31 told me i can already but my fingers r too wide for my nostrils and i'm just too paranoid and i'm better safe than sorry heh heh.
I just think that the front view of my nose should settle down more.. I'm giving it 2 months more to see how it goes.. then i'll feedback to the clinic. So far yes my tip has changed a fair lot from the previous nose i had. It's not round and bulbous anymore. But I want more out of this surgery. since I paid so much.
But yeah, so far 80% satisfied! Side looks great so far. The only thing holding me back about the side view is that i wish the tip was pointing up a little more.
One month plus post-op: I'm about 80% happy with the nose right now. 20% still unsatisfied probably because the front tip is not as small as I would like yet. Hopefully, it will still continue to settle in and deswell. My only regret is that i shouldn't have told the doctor "not too high for nose bridge". I should have went higher. Right now, i feel like i'm resuming activities back to normal, been exercising~ Bridge feels hard now, and no more tenderness. Occasionally when I get out of the shower, my tip becomes reddish. Don't know why it's reddish...?
Oh! Didn't know you are alrdy in Korea. Kakao me back & update me about everything okay! Mehhhh i don't know about their eye surgery if its good or not because i haven't seen the B&As. Hmmm but r u having nose & eyes tgt? I think its gonna be a bad idea to have both tgt.
Im very sorry to hear that. I think u must have been really stressed out and depressed. We are always here to help you. There are a lot of TPF members who went through stuffs like this too. Whens ur rev surgery?
i emailed them before and their website is hard to navigate. I'm not sure about non surgical, but surgical method would be Microaire. I think their Line ID is 365MC. lemme know how it goes babe
Hi deepestsecret, I am sorry to hear about your nose. Do you mind sharing what was wrong with the surgery? It must have been really stressful for you. Do you also mind sharing whats the difference between T-Cut and the one you did? Right now, yes I am pretty happy with what I'm seeing but I'm hoping the tip goes down more than what i see now. I am officially about 1 month plus post op.
Hello!!! I was surprised when dr kim spoke english. He speaks and understands english but the translator will always be there when u need him. I wasn't concerned with opened or closed. The scar is not obvious. Perhaps u can ask him about closed methods!
No I wasn't quite interested in the functionality. But they told me I can do piggy nose after a year. We'll see... I'm so paranoid that i wouldn't even dare yawn widely... So i don't think i'm ever going to move it anyways!
I had an infection scare last week and it has been a long long week. Last Saturday, my bridge felt swollen which was out of the blue and conversely at the same time my tip was actually less swollen. The right side was sharp but left side was swollen on the bridge. I think I took really long to heal, might be my body issues. I was a wreck last week and kakaoed many friends and Brian who works at april31. He has been asking me about my nose almost everyday after the infection scare, every morning he starts work lol, even on weekends. He told me to take pictures from each side to show the nurses. On last Monday, Brian told me to take antibiotics for precautions. I collected 7 days of antibiotics and i have been pestering Brian about my nose as well lol. Lucky for me he was more than patient and detailed when he asked about my nose issues. I had ant bite sensation in my nostrils which Brian and others told me it's completely normal. I got so paranoid that I have been kakaoing many people about it. As you see, post op is not something easy. So pls be prepared when you do surgery. I don't think I am going to do another ps again... The amount of stress and paranoia are just too much. I am the kind of perfectionist so if anything goes a little wrong I get freaked out a bit too much.
Right now, I am deswelled. My nose bridge and tip from the side are deswelled. My front tip is still swollen, and yet to my liking(I have very high standard fyi;p). I'm now exactly four weeks post op. So far yes I'm very happy, just wished the tip would quickly settle in.
Sorry i forgot to mention, there's a difference for sure yet it's natural looking. I asked for dramatic yet natural. It's all I wanted for a nose but my body hasn't been well. Maybe part of me was greedy I ate salted duck. T________T Abort all sodium please!!!
Honestly right now I am very happy with the curve from the side. The front still needs to deswell and to take new shape. I'm wk3 now. Since these three weeks, it has been very stressful because of the swelling. So please be warned, post op blues can hit you so hard!
Went back the next day after knocking my nose. I was so nervous the whole night when i knocked it. This is my first rhino and i paid quite a sum you know... So the nurse checked my nose and everything was alright and fine. I was so relieved after hearing i'm okay. Brian reassured that everything is okay before letting me go
Last day in korea-
Went for a last checkup to remove my heavy cast. My nose was so oily T___T and the nose bridge swelled up that i could see the implant. The nose tip looked sharp on day 5 (even though later when I went home it swelled up like crazy). Dr Kim came in to press on my nose and check if everything was fine. Then he asked if I could stay for additional days to remove my stitches(but i couldn't). Dr Kim can speak good english much to my surprise actually. Then, i got stickers on my nose bridge to go home with. I was a bit overconcerned with the stickers because I was afraid to be seen with it.
Thanks for the thread! I am now about 3 weeks post op soon. I started picking with a Q tip just be very gentle. I have been trying to lock my hands under my blankets because I tend to dream a lot and I'm so afraid I'd knock my nose again! I have been so paranoid such as being afraid of yawning too much, tugging the eyelid, etc.
@doremi: i guess it's about the curve at the forehead followed by the curved nose. I don't like straight noses myself it's too masculine Thanks for the well wishes dearie xx
@motherhen: yeah! heard TLPS quote was crazy high too! btw your username lmaos.
@kcouture: hmm i like the bridge so far- the swelling went down a lot. But so far, my tip is still swollen so I can't tell now. Front view is still swollen. Think my country's bad weather have a lot to do with the swelling. I'm still waiting and having a little post-op blue.
