  1. Agreed Jessicala, she is crazy and if she's bashing doctors who have to go through 10+ years of medical school, rigorous residency training and pass multiple extremely hard Medical Licensing Exams. She's hardly likely to take any advice given to her here. (Especially, considering she's already created over 50 forum posting about her jaw problems.)

  2. I suspect it's a combination of how skilled the doctor is, age (skin elasticity snaps back faster in younger patients), and how long the facial contouring compression band was used for.

If, the patient did not use the compression band often enough, the severed tendons would not reattach to the bone properly. Hence, sagging would occur.

  3. I'm not understanding your hostility ElijahSpk. If you doubt Dr. Oh's suspension was from media appearances. Share your source of information. Otherwise, "do stop typing things just for the sake of it."

And umm... you're not a ADMIN or MOD, so where do you derive your power to tell others what they can and can't type?

  4. @Ashly117 I truly appreciate your sensible, level minded response as well. We're all entitled to feeling negatively to other individuals. Goodness knows I feel that way about ignorant fools who sprout rubbish here. But that's the beauty of the internet. Just skip over anything they write. As far as I know, MissOrange has not harmed anyone and has actually helped out many members by dispensing helpful advice. I hope everyone has researched their PS clinics months in advance and have multiple clinic consultations lined up. Not just rely on one member's recommendation.

I also hope you did not take offense to my earlier post, I wrote that at 12 AM and was attempting to explain other countries have different cultural values. So while Americans associate a plastic surgeon with how famous they are and which celebrities they operated on. In Korea, it's not the same mindset although I think we'd all love to know our favorite k-pop star's plastic surgeon. And if I recall correctly, the Korean Medical Board doesn't approve of PS promoting themselves. Dr. Oh from Regen got a suspension for appearing on TV.

  5. @pinkmau I think you need to go back and learn to read. I clearly state it's an "unknown variable", and none of us know how many satisfied patients there are. In addition to the word "possible". I never said he "definitely" has a 95% success rate. So if you can't read please don't talk yourself.

Unless you happen to have the exact percentage of unsatisfied customers and there are and prove it. Since you're all about EXACT numbers.

  6. @Ashly117 I think we can safely say that if we've undergone successful surgeries and are extremely happy with the outcome. Then happy people sing their doctor's praises numerous times on purseforum. Just as you've been praising Jogak for your head augmentation. MissOrange freely shares her recommendation of MVP. Insinuation that MissOrange is a MVP promoter is upsetting to her.

We also don't know how many satisfied customers Dr. Seo has over 9000 surgeries. It's an unknown variable. It's quite possible he has a 95% success rate, with local Koreans. There are also tons of excellent plastic surgeons in Korea. As evidenced by the fact that South Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world. However, are all excellent SK plastic surgeons world renowned? Of course not, plus they would only be well known in Korea, not to foreigners. I bet no one in Korea, knows who the Kardashians are either.

Even, plastic surgeons who operate on k-pop stars/celebrities are kept top secret and are not world renowned. They don't need to promote themselves outside Korea.

  7. I agree most of the plastic surgery clinic's advertising is very deceptive. Especially when the after picture is makeup, hairstyle, and filters but, it's not all photoshop. The plastic surgeons do churn out K pop stars and the Instagram ulzzang look by the hundreds too.

And as ladybugz pointed out, the aesthetics of a western plastic surgeon won't fit an Asian face. It's best to have a plastic surgeon that work everyday on Asian faces to get rhinoplasty or double eyelid surgery for example.

I think in your case fat grafting, you'll need a second session in 6 months before you see permanent results. But that's because a lot of fat cells don't survive the transfer. For pricing, it's very important to research a few months and see what others have been charged for the same procedures here. If it's too much, walk away and go to another clinic, and always arrange at least 3 different consultations.

  8. @miss miyu I'm not positive but it might be the clinic strongly discourages revealing the review include the discount in their post? In which case, the person can't reveal it? (I have no idea how it works since I always paid full price.)

But other members says some clinics tell them not to reveal prices to other people too. Which, I think is a terrible practice. That just encourages overpricing for foreigners.

I always keep in the back of my mind though, if someone paid full price they aren't likely to be sharing B&A pictures for privacy reasons.

  9. My apologies for the unpleasantness krod2017.

I can't believe how low class and trashy madamebutterfly89 continues to descend. I'm pretty sure she's projecting her own single status on me. And sugar I have more than a boyfriend. I have a ring cuz he wants forever.

  10. That's all right because I don't need uneducated, ignorant, false information that can't be proven by one's own pictures sugarbuns. Btw you couldn't pay me a million dollars to be your sweetheart.

Everyone else, please do your own research and look at multiple member's before and after pictures. Do hundreds of hours of research. Be sure you've seen more than 10 good reviews of the clinic you're considering. You don't want mental problems and end up at a therapist.

  11. I almost fell out of my chair, when I read this post of yours MadameButterfly89. Hypocrite much? "The only way to change a clinic's ways is to expose them." You can't even be bothered to expose your own clinic who did your zygoma surgery.

  12. I agree krod2017, without photos there's no way to tell if the results are truly botched or the person is suffering from body dysmorphia. (In which case, that is a mental problem and the person should not be constantly posting for more plastic surgery.)

As a community, we should be helping each other, that includes sharing both good and bad results. Especially, to prevent other members from going to the same clinic and receiving a botched surgery too. No one has to share photos, in fact plenty of members don't. But, neither should one be a selfish troll and beg for other people's pictures, without wanting to share in return.
