I'm a 26 years old Chinese girl who has been living in the US for the past few years and I'd been interested in breast augmentation procedure since I was in the senior high school. (I was born with a petite figure and my flat chest only made me look like I've never been physically developed.)

So when I turned twenty, I started to look for some information in the internet about breast augmentation, reading review by review until I finally encouraged myself to undergo the surgery. At that point I was very glad that my parents were being very supportive and respectful towards my decision, especially my mom.

At the beginning, I was actually thinking about having the surgery in the US instead, but then I found out that aesthetic wise, South Korea is more developed and the procedure cost is fairly much cheaper compared to other countries, so after making some consideration based on the online consultation and recommendation from my friends who are living in Korea, I decided to go with Opera which is already well known for their breast procedures.

It's been 1 week and 1 day since my arrival and I planned to stay at my friend's apartment that is not too far from the clinic during 1 month recovery period because I was told that the check up for breast surgery is ideally done on 7th day, 14th day and 1 month post OP. (I also planned to travel around South Korea as well)

I visited the clinic on the second day after my arrival for having a consultation and doing several health check-ups (I did urine and blood tests in the clinic, then the interpreter took me to the other clinic nearby for X-Ray, ECG and blood pressure test).

I had my surgery on Monday morning and I felt soo scared but also super excited because I could not wait to have a pair of beautiful breasts that I'd been dreaming of!

I laid down on the bed in the surgery room nervously to receive some injections and anesthesia, and when I opened my eyes, the nurse told me that the surgery is already done.

Honestly, rather than the surgery itself, I was more scared about the pain post operation, but thanks to god that it was not as bad as I thought.

I heard that the pain level post OP actually depends on the surgeon's skill, so considering about the short surgery time and the small amount of pain I had, I suppose that Dr. Kwon is a really good doctor who is specializing in this type of procedure.

Today is day 3 post operation. I was told by the surgeon that I should not move my arms too much yet (but I tried) and I could lift my arms already without any bothering pain. But I have to let you know that it does still feel very uncomfortable for me to get up from my bed every morning though other than that, I feel okay.

My breasts are still very swollen and it's only a few days post OP so I think it will be too early for me to judge about the result. But so far, looking at my shape on the mirror, I'd say that I'm satisfied.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that my incision site is on the armpit area and the implant type I have is Mentor X-Tra smooth.

I will keep an eye on my condition in a few more days and update you guys with the following posts! Stay tune!

Do you have textured implants? Allergan recalled the textured implants only, not the smooth silicone. It's of course good to take precautions, but unless you have issues with the recalled implants (i.e. swelling, tenderness, etc) they are not recommending immediate explantation.

Yup, mine is the textured ones. And I’ve checked my implants ID card, its one of the model number suspended. So far, I do not have any symptoms yet. I’ve asked my local doctor and she said its very rare chance but if I am concerned, she suggested to replace another. I am now indecisive on which implant to go for: Mentor or Motiva?

Hello! R u having the same problem as me- having Allergan implants now and considering for a revision? Motiva seems like a popular choice but its still very new in the market and its not FDA approved. On the other hand, Mentor is FDA approved and I think they have a new silicone implant which is similar to Motiva. I still cannot decide thou.

Hello, just wanna find out how many girls like me had an Allergan breast implant? I am very concerned about it due to recent medical reports of breast cancer causing from the implants. And after research and check on my implant certificate, mine happens to be one of the implants being suspended. *cry*

Hi, does anybody here had any info about chin implants? I do have a bit of underbite problem. And quite a number of clinics actually propose chin implant for better projection than jaw surgery. But I also read that a lot of people actually had chin implants removed after putting it. Can any kind soul enlighten me on this asap as I am going Korea in a weeks time? TIA!

I don't know about that.....you might want to ask the clinics you will be consulting with if that is ok. I know before surgery there's a number of medications and supplements u should avoid taking. I personally never ever go for any flu jabs. I just start taking vitamin C supplements 1 month in advance to build up my immune system.

Also u can have surgery even if you are sick depending on your condition. I had a sore throat and I still went ahead with my surgery. I believe as long as no fever its ok. Funny thing is after my surgery my sore throat was gone. I'm not sure if this is due to the anesthesia that numbed my senses or what not tho lol.

Hi K Couture,
Do u think it is good to go for a flu jab prior to surgery? So that my body would be in a fit condition to lower the chance to fall sick before or after surgery? I am going to get my rhino and BA done in end march and I know the weather is still pretty cold in Korea. And given the fact that I got sinus problem and weaker body, the tot of falling sick/ easily sick just simply freak me out.

Hi thanks for sharing such an informative and useful experience. I'm actually going to have my surgeries with Dr Lee too tomorrow morning. I heard that Girin's Acculift was not good. I'm going for Acculift there too tomorrow, as I'm doing it with all other procedures together so to be able to haggle the price. But nervous with the Acculift and BA result. Do u mind me asking you, how's your Acculift result so far? Any sagging? Thank you very much.

Pain is unbelievable I actually said when theytry to wake me up after surgery that why I did this to myself. But my pain level is skyrocket did jaw, side cheek fat graft and lips reduction and boob.
When I woke up I wanna cry cuz I am alone and can't do anything like stand up but I have to go home after surgery in the morning. I have a fever now. I have to go home and work on the 12th and my face is like a balloon and my boob is still sore as well. Anyway I keep telling myself this all will be better.

Oh Mstyflame,*hugs*! The pain is from all the areas that u did? Or mainly from certain area? And my dear, to my knowledge, having fever after surgery is not common rite? Anyway I will pray for ur fast recovery! Please update us on ur recovery ok? Take good care!

I think is best for u to separate the surgeries if you are going to different doctors. 1 of the girl whom i went with, she did rhinoplasty but her eyes bruise as well. So may affect the surgeon decision during surgery. Good luck

I think it's waaay riskier to go under anesthesia 3 separate times in such a short time span. I think it takes awhile for anesthesia to leave your system so you need to give your body a break.

Hi Noitsyou! Den is it safe to undergo all 3 surgery at 1 time, putting the post surgery pain aside? I know all surgery had their risk but I dont wanna put my life at high possible risk if its not recommended to do all at 1 go especially I got asthma.

Putting pricing aside, is it recommended to perform 3 different surgery (eye, nose and breast augmentation) with 3 different doctors from different clinics if I only had 14 days in Korea? Reasons because every doctor had their own forte.

Ive been there and I did my ps there. I didnt write a review yet cause im only 3 months po now so not 100% sure about the end results yet. I really liked their after care. I went in November, so it could be that they just werent that busy, so more attentive lol. Plus the doctor speaks good english, which for me is very important, because I want to be sure he understands my needs

Yes, totally agree with u Wjiajia! I feel more at ease when the doctor can speak my language and I understand his! I guess I will more or less settled on Unique for my PS this coming April! Thank You Wjiajia!

Any girls been to Unique PS? Any reviews about them? I asked about eyelid, rhinoplastry and breast augmentation and was given a very good deal. But I still have my doubts although I do know of a friend who did PS there. And I saw in some threads that its not advisable to do rhinoplastry and BA at the same time?
