  1. From my observation, if you use a thread to pull the alar base closer together then the nostril hole will become more oval which is bad since it makes it seem like you have more nostril showing. Also your upper lip will be further away from your nose because the skin is gathered inward will push down your lip. My conclusion is that it is not a great idea if your nose is not long because the lip will be further away from you nose and if you don’t want more nostril showing.

  2. Has anyone done cinching? A lot of Korean clinics are using this method now even though this method was created about 30 years ago. It just never got that popular. It is a method to use a thread to make the alar base width smaller. It is sew in an 8 pattern and the thread is underneath the skin. The thread will stretch so the doctor have to make the width smaller than your goal and probably will be at the width you within a year.

  3. Thank you for your review. We really appreciate it. Did the doctor correct the nostril unevenness? Did he have to cut the alar or the floor of the nostril base (sill)? Your alar looked good before and there is probably no flare, so you probably didn’t really need to cut the alar.

The base of my alar gives me a triangle-ish nostril from frontal view and I want to make the alar look more oval but it doesn’t seem like a good idea to cut my alar since I don’t have a flare. So I’m thinking maybe the doctor can cut the base of my nostril instead.

  4. Don’t waste you money. It hasn’t worked for my jaw muscle and another purseforumer who did it 3 times on her calves. It will also give you scar tissue which makes it harder to operate if you decide to cut your muscle one day. Little research say it works. It is not proven to work but maybe you’re lucky and it works for you. It is not proven to work, so not a lot of clinics offer RF.

  5. I don’t know if this will help but I randomly visited this clinic because I wanted to find a doctor for nose. So I didn’t like the doctor or the consultant. They made me pay 10,000 won after talking to the doctor for 10 mins. They didn’t tell me in the beginning that there is a fee. There is problem with communication. The doctor only speaks some English. He is a reconstructive doctor so maybe he can help with your scar. I have very little knowledge about him so it is up to you to decide if you want surgery with him or not. The website: everclinic.com

  6. Thank you for sharing.
I was wondering if your masseter is still small. You had Botox too so Botox should stop working soon. If your jaw is still small after 6 months then that means the radiofrequency that was used to cut the nerve from your muscle worked. I used radio frequency to treat my masseter before but it didn’t work. I did it at Grand. Some clinics use this laser technique to try to reduce the jaw muscle permanently. However many clinics does not use this method because it is not proven to work and is unpredictable which means they cannot tell you if it will work or how much would be reduced. I read about few researches done and the laser worked but overall it is not a proven method. Thus, many clinics just recommend Botox and doesn’t use laser. They can also cut the muscle off too but this method is also not really supported by most doctors. It can look lumpy, maybe a dent, and of course more complications than botox. It would be nice to have a permanent procedure for masseter reduction.

  7. Thank you for sharing. I’m happy you found a good place to fix your nose.

  8. A doctor told me before that my nose was upturned but doctors I’m meeting now say my nose is not. They say my nose is between 95 to 105 degree. Sometimes my nose looks slanted one way and sometimes it doesn’t and looks somewhat straight. I think it moves around a little bit. I would advise people to also make their nose longer if it is short. I didn’t know I can change the length when I did my primary. Now it would be a waste of money if I did my nose again to make it longer, so I’ll live with my nose unless there are some problems with it in the future.

  9. The clinic I went to didn’t have acculift. They say it last for 3 months so I keep having to come back. I think they meant lifting effect...but I think it is probably a little longer since I had acculift before. Also, my fat graft lasted and I told the doctor to put in 10-20% more since I heard that some will go away and it didn’t go away on my forehead. The doctor didn’t really want to put extra but he listened to me. My forehead doesn’t fit my face but it is not too much of a big deal. I paid for two fat graph so I should have just went with the normal amount first.

  10. Investigation on breast implant. Well, it is your choice in the end. I just want to warn people that is all. Because the doctor will not tell you or make it less serious because they want you to have the surgery.
You can skip to 10:20 if you don’t want to watch the whole video.

Here is a video just on the implant.

  11. I had it done at DA. Maybe the cost would be like under $1000 for eye fat repositioning and my forehead fat graph was $1000 too with a free touch up within a year. Don’t remember the price well. You may not have the same result as me because you may not hold on to fat well. But places on your face that you move less will hold onto fat better.

A fellow purse forum asked about dark circle. I don’t think eye fat reposition is for dark circle. It is just to even out. Since I used to have eye bags but I didn’t have dark circle.

I didn’t get under eye bleph.

  12. Sorry to hear your experiences. I don’t trust programs for plastic surgery since they get pay for recommending you to a clinic. Cinderella is a bit expensive and their result aren’t great but not botched. My eyes were done by them and they look okay but the tear duct is damaged so it leaks once in a while. My nose is okay. A little upturned and slanted sideways but both of these imperfections are not that noticeable so I wouldn’t call it botched.
