Thank you. I contacted the clinic where I got my rhinoplasty done but they said since it's been almost 4 years, it's not due to the surgery and recommended me to see a dermatologist. Maybe I will just do that.

 

They quoted me 15,000 us dollars for revision rhinoplasty.

 

Hi, I had rhinoplasty in Korea about 3 years ago, well it will be 4 years this May. I noticed some skin discoloration on my bridge, it's kinda blueish color and gets darker under dim lights. Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be an infection or just poor blood circulation that may be fixed by skin care treatment like laser or peel? Or some underlying problems? I am looking for revision rhino in Korea or China, and would love to collect some information from resourceful rhino buddies. Thank you very much.

hi, i don't know why it won't let you add me. But i got mind done at DA clinic. There were couple doctors who were specialized in Rhinoplasty, although i got mine done by Doc Lee who i believe is the chief surgeon in there. I think i am pretty satisfied with my nose so far as far as the height of the bridge and the nostril reduction. My nose is still healing, and of course the tip is still swelling. I don't feel anything except the numbing on the tip and the difficulty of extension of smile. It feels very weird when i try to smile, but it is all due to the surgery and the doctor said it will get better as time goes by. Today marks the 23nd day after the surgery, and i still need more time to recover. My nose looks very natural, truly a combination of the doctor consultation and my request. My nostril looks slimmer and better than before. I don't recommend anybody who already have a high nose bridge do a much higher bridge, because if it is too high and it will make the skin thinner, then eventually it will show vividly under the lights or sun. Talk to the doctor and do what fits you the best. Good luck, guys !

Sorry for the late reply, I hane benn sleeping and I dont feel good because it's hard to breath since I stii have the sponge inside my nastril. My face is swollen and one of my eye is swollen too, anyways I will try to update later

 

now i am scared. i am going to do my rhinoplasty tomorrow, and i will be also doing the nastril reduction. I am scared of the scars, and actually anybody had infection after the rhinoplsty surgery ? what may cause the infection ?

 

Going to get mine done tomorrow moring , i am kinda nervous and scared too.

It's easier to go to Korea for American becasuee it's visa free. You need to apply for a visa to go to a China , I don't know about Japan.

HI, i am going to Korea next week for Rhinoplasty. So far, i have been recommend The Channel plastic surgery clinic, IZIEN, DA, TL, and girin. Anybody heard of The Channel ? I was told by the tourism agency that it is quite popular among the locals. I never heard of this clinic and they don't have an English website. If anybody knows about this clinic please let me know the reviews.
By the way, they quoted me $4400 for a full Rhinoplasty including bridge augmentation, tip plasty and free mole removal.
