- Hong Kong textile fortune heiress fell into coma during surgery and subsequently passed away
- No anaesthetists were present during surgery
- Clinic is Ollim Plastic Surgery, doctor responsible is Kim Sung-il
- Clinic indicates it is still open for business and accepting appointments for the same doctor
Well the thing is, FC essentially removes internal structures within your face that is supporting existing muscles, skin, etc. You will need compensating surgery to prevent sagging, there is no way around it. A face lift is probably the longer lasting solution, anything else that does not involve SMAS lifitng willl require more frequent touch-up to maintain
I was recently at Braun over multiple days for a few revisional surgeries and from what i saw it's 99% locals now. That doesn't mean anything in any case, clinic branding is one thing, but it's more important to choose a doctor with a good track record and surgical style that also fits your own aesthetic preference, budget
Everyone has different pain thresholds, but when i had the same surgeries done in the past, it was 2/10 for me personally. Any pain that you do feel should be gone in 2-3 days max. You will also be provided with mild painkillers from your clinic so you'll be fine, don't worry.
Why go Taiwan for Korean style surgery? I assume these are your primary surgeries, if you avoid the big names clinics, you should be able to find very capable mid-size ones that can handle both within the quote of 116k~126k NTD that had been provided to you.
Soyoung and GangnamSister are good resources to give you a sense of the results from the various clinics. You can then use this to further research on the clinics that you are interested in. Purseforum is my personal opinion is now a minefield, there is just too much promotion going on, i wouldn't trust most of what is being written. You'll notice the same 10-15 clinics being mentioned over & over again...
I had chronic dark eye circles for the longest time and did re-positioning several years ago to fix the problem. The results were definitely visible, but in terms of fix longevity, this really depends alot on your lifestyle, sleeping habits, genetics, natural aging etc. For reference, I have since done 2 fat grafts, 2 years apart each time to touch-up and maintain it. Hopes this helps in setting realistic expectations.
I've had several moles removed with Laser over the years. None of them have left any permanent scaring. There is however the matter of hyperpigmentation after the scab comes. Scabbing is unavoidable for all mole removal techniques that i am aware of. Age, skintone and aftercare will determine how long these take to fully fade away.
You won't find traditional Korean lodging for rent in the Gangnam area, these are dotted around Insadong/Gyeongbokgung. If you are really keen on this, another option is to look at splitting your stay to 2 areas, since realistically, your visits to the clinic will only be on the first 3-4 days (inclusive of consultation, surgery), and probably another visit a few days later to get your stitches removed.
This depends on cultural norms. In Korea, male surgery is quite prevalent so you don't need to worry about any social stigma if you intend to get work done there. Cost vary depending on the clinic, but the 6-8K USD is probably a safe to range to look at for both surgeries combined.
In terms of recover, most of the swelling should be gone after the first week - that's also when you would get your stitches removed.
As with all surgical procedures, there is a always a risk, take time to research where and what you want, read the success and failures stories from fellow forumers here. This will help you make an informed decision. Good luck!
Generally you can. But December is traditionally the busiest time for surgery in Korea. To ensure you get a slot within your travel plans, it's best to inform the clinics beforehand and get a confirmation from them.
why not buy them online? i bought some online a few weeks before i made my trip to korea. ironically the pills were shipped from korea but i reckon they were cheaper then buying them in a pharmacy there
For awareness - another surgery clinic death
