  1. I just wanna say to people who are thinking of doing 2jaw, i feel it’s ok to do it in Korea only if you have accepted the potential risks, done sufficient research and chose your clinic correctly.

There are plenty of fake reviews done by the clinic’s marketing team showing awesome results hence please be careful not to fall into the trap.

Personally, I did 2jaw with v line for aesthetic purpose and I’m glad the surgery went well and I’m alive and look normal. Just worried about sagging to hit me in a couple of years time?

@HaoHn I too think you do not require 2jaw. You are good looking to me. Not worth to suffer for months going for 2jaw. And there are clinics who often suggest you more surgeries than you need to earn your money. Watch out!

  2. Hi, may I know where you did your BA?

  3. Hi everyone, I came across a video about bloggers talking about their plastic surgeries.

In the video, Miyake talked about her boob job in Thailand that caused her to lose (partial) sensation on her boobs. She mentioned out of her 10 friends who did the surgery, all 10 of them lose sensation on their boobs.

Anyone who did BA able to confirm regarding the lost sensation part? Was thinking of going for BA but losing sensation on boobs kinda made me think twice.... Not worth it to look good but unable to feel anything..

    Appreciate everyone’s feedback. Thanks.

  4. Usually people do v-line before rhino is because they want their “smaller/slimmer face” to be able to fit the “new nose”. If you do rhino first, your v-line results may or may not be satisfactory.

If you are unable to stay in Korea for very long or you are unable to come back to Korea another time, the best is to find a clinic that does all the surgeries at one go.

  5. Hi, how long after 2 jaw can you remove the pins? May I also know your reason for removing the pins?

  6. When you pass the airport staff the declaration form, they will usher you to a corner and ask you to show them the money. Just tell them it’s for surgery and they will ask you sign a form and you can go.

  7. @Mazikeen can you direct me to the links with bad reviews of Oscar? I was considering to consult with them now need to think twice...

  8. EU price for 2 jaw and v line is 17,500,000 krw. This is the price they gave me in Kakao and also face to face consultation when I went during Sep 2018. I believe this is the standard price they quote to everybody. Some people managed to bring the price down but I’m unsure how.

  9. I went to Korea alone for ~2 weeks for DES and hairline transplant. I lied to my parents that I went sightseeing with 2 friends. I felt bad but like you, I hated my looks and I wanted the surgery badly.
When I returned home, my family seems to believe that my eyes became swollen due to “the flight back home”. But my colleagues...started to question me!! I simply brush them off saying I didn’t do anything. Some of them believed me, others had doubts but good thing is that they never asked again. Phew.
I will have problems when I go back Korea again next year for 2jaw and v line. I need to stay there for a month. I have no idea what lies I’m gonna make up. I know I can’t hide the truth from my family forever. I just hope that when the time comes, all my surgeries were successful and they had no reasons to scold me as I’m an adult already and using my own hard earned money.

  10. I suggest you to consult other clinics as 5mil is way too high for DES. I’m sure there are clinics that charges half that price.

And you may want to check out the thread below as she did a forehead lift due to no eyelid muscle.
    https://beautyhacker.com/threads/my-double-eyelid-surgery-journey-feb-2018.979106/

The best is to have a face to face consultation as the doctor will poke your eyelids and ask you open & close your eyes to determine the surgeries you require. I initially thought I needed forehead lift too but it turns out ptosis was able to fix my weak eyelid muscle..

  11. Hi, do you mind to let me know how much you paid in total? Was it for 2-jaw, v line and chin (genioplasty)?

  12. I will say it really depends. Some hosts may try to lure you to certain clinics and get you to do surgery there so they get paid for referral. This may result in higher quoted prices.
Some hosts may suggest you clinics popular among locals, be your translator and even bargain the price down for you. They even take good care of you during your recovery stage. It happened to someone from this forum and there was a post about it so do check it out. All the best for your surgery!

  13. Hi, I'm interested in Jewelry as well. I intend to visit them next year but not sure if they have a translator..
Few years ago they were quite popular as they kinda do dolly eyes. But after news broke out they had a birthday celebration in the midst of a surgery, I've not heard of anyone going there since. Any reviews will be helpful.

  14. Hi all, have anyone done or know someone who did the above surgery?
I'm interested to know the rough price and how long I'm required to stay in Korea.
Perhaps 3 weeks? Or 4-5 weeks stay similar to 2 jaw surgery?

I've visited my local orthodontist and he claims I have a protruding upper lip as the upper jaw is protruded and braces will NOT fix the issue. He can help by repositioning my upper jaw but he added that the lower jaw have to be shifted as well to make it equal(??) and my jaws will be fixated by screws. Isn't this like 2 jaw surgery?? Due to this, I'm trying to find a second opinion. Anyone can help?

  15. He recommends it to almost everyone but I suggest you to be firm with your decision. If you think epi and ptosis aren't necessary, tell him. If he still insist his way, I think you can find another doctor elsewhere.

  16. If you only had primary rhino, you have less bargaining power as compared to someone who is doing 2 or more surgeries. If you never bargained at all, you can't expect the consultant to offer you a lower price automatically. I mean who doesn't want to earn more money, right? As the saying goes, "If you never try, you'll never know".
In addition, I have read that patients who pay cash are able to get a slight discount. However, payment by card are able to get tax refund at airport. But don't quote me on this.

  17. Problem 1 (Droopy eyelids)
I have droopy eyelids but my right eyelid droops more than my left eyelid. When I look down/close my eyes, I have even eyebrows. But when I look up/look straight, I have uneven eyebrows. It looks obvious from selfies taken via front cam as the photos are flipped.
I have read on Realself that droopy eyelids could led to uneven eyebrows but do anyone out here with similar experience but with one eyelid droopier? Ps: I do use double eyelid glue. Before I used it, I alr had droopy eyelids.
I'm fine with doing ptosis correction but the issue is due to one eyelid being more droopy, I am really afraid of over/under correction. I'm also worried my issue is not with the eyelid but with the muscle? If it is due to muscle, I had no choice but to do Botox every year? I'm not into browlift as I read that it needs maintenance every few years? Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

    Problem 2 (Smile/teeth/upper jaw)
I'm uncomfortable with the fact that my mouth can't seem to close naturally and my upper lip points upwards. I'm very sure I do not have a short upper lip which led me to think that I have a protruded upper jaw instead. I read on PF abt ASO/2-jaw surgery and it kinda freaks me out as this is a rather invasive surgery that could lead to death.
I found myself an alternative solution which is traditional braces/Invisalign as my teeth have shifted slightly over the years due to overcrowding. I decided to go with braces as I've read that it is much more effective though the treatment is longer. But my question is, will it push back my upper jaw and fix my uneven smile? I will most likely be extracting all my wisdom teeth.
I'm very concerned about this issue because due to my mouth being unable to close naturally, I find myself using my mouth to breathe more often than using my nose. This also led to my gums being dry causing part of the gum in between my upper 2 middle teeth to have a small "crack". Do I also have an issue with my nose that require a rhinoplasty since I breathe thru my mouth most of the time?
In addition, I have an uneven smile and this really affects me emotionally and mentally. I hated myself and have not smiled on photos taken by others. Ps: I do have a gummy smile.

I'm open to suggestions and appreciate if someone or anyone can help/advise me regarding my problems. So sorry for the overly long winded story here. You can pm me if that is your preference. Thank you.

  18. This is a public forum that can be viewed by anyone and everyone. Members can reply and comment freely as long as they think is relevant to the topic. No such things as "your forum" even though you are the thread starter. If a clinic has no negative comments, I'd find it fishy.

Don't quote me for this but BK, ID, VIP etc have many negative reviews on this forum due to severely botched/unsatisfactory results. Besides Jayjun, Grand also had a patient who died during surgery (Google). But these reviews wouldn't stop people from going there for surgeries. They probably are not aware and were comfortable during consultation (like you) or they trusted their own gut feelings despite knowing what happened. If everyone avoided a clinic due to previous death incidents, the clinic would have closed down by now.
