After researching for a while and reading a lot of negative reviews and experiences with mid-face implants, I'm curious to know if anyone who's gotten double jaw surgery noticed that their nose became less sunken post-surgery? Which do you guys think is better?

I'm looking for something that's more permanent/less risky than botox (because one wrong injection can ruin your smile) but less invasive than actually cutting the muscle (although I'm not opposed to it). Can the muscle be frozen?

 

Be careful with facial lipo. I've read a lot of reviews where people end up regretting getting it done because it permanently ages them! If it's not done correctly it can leave you weird dimples/dents in your face.

I feel like the results of fat repositioning ultimately depends on the underlying bone structure have or lack thereof. I, for example, have deep tear troughs and under eye bags due to having sunken orbital rims. The only way to fix them for good would probably be orbital rim/tear trough implants.

 

Can he make cheek/tear trough implants?

 

I've been extensively researching doctors who make customized facial implants, specifically, cheek, paranasal, and orbital rim/ tear trough. I already know about Dr.Y and Dr. Eppley, however, both have discouraging botched jobs. I'm also aware of the H clinic in Korea, but I'd like to have more options. Can you guys recommend any surgeons who you know of that can do this? Any recommendations are welcome.

 

Did you have or need to get braces before getting it done. I don't wanna have to wait for months or even years with braces in order to get the surgery.

You should check out the H clinic for cheekbone reconstruction. Judging from his videos, Dr. Baek is constantly trying to come up with new techniques for reconstruction after botched jobs.

 

I wanted to make a thread dedicated to specifically mentioning US-based v-line surgeons. I'm hoping that other members who have had jaw shaving surgeries in the US can post here and make others aware of the options they have if they are too nervous to go overseas.

I'm specifically looking for a maxillofacial surgeon who can perform double jaw as well as jaw shaving, so any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

 

I found this clinic while researching maxillofacial clinics in Korea and I was wondering if anyone on this board has either heard of them or had surgery with them. If you have, can you tell me which surgery you got and by whom, as I am trying to look up the doctor's credentials. You can also link reviews from another website if possible.

 

I want to reduce the 45-degree cheekbone angle. However, after reading all the horror stories about people getting botched cheekbone reduction and complaining about their face looking flat, I was wondering if getting cheek implants for the front part of my cheekbones would mitigate or even eliminate this issue. Has anyone done this already? Would/Did cheek implants help?

 

I got a jaw x-ray when I went to the dentist six months ago and I'm currently in the process of getting it sent to me. I want to try and figure out on my own how low the nerves in my jaw is so I can guess how much jaw bone can be shaved away safely. How did you guys find out about where your jaw nerves were? Did you find out with an x-ray or a Ct scan?

I don't wanna find out that my doctor can't shave enough jawbone once it's too late.

 

Have you considered getting a buccal fat removal to get rid of your jowls? I think that and neck lipo/neck lift would benefit you greatly.

 

When looking up US double jaw ct scans I noticed how big the screws and titanium plates are in comparison to the Korean surgeons. Is there a reason for that?

 

Would it be smarter to get surgeries like double jaw/v-line at maxillofacial clinics like TFD in Korea?

 

Due to an accident that happened during my childhood, I have a severely asymmetrical face that is especially apparent around my cheekbones. My right cheekbone is angled closer to my eye while my left is much lower, near my nose and protruding. I've come to the conclusion that I will probably need to undergo a ZMC (zygomaticomaxillary complex) reconstruction in order to correct the misalignment that caused the left side of my face to grow lower than my right.

Does anyone on this forum have experience in cheekbone reconstruction with maxillofacial clinics?

 

Dang, that's a shame considering Eppley's the only doctor I've found who is talented in making and implanting complex customized facial implants.

Can anybody recommend another doctor who's good at custom facial implants?
