1. If you’re talking about downtime for breast, I would say none? I did have some trouble lifting my arms above my head for the first 3 - 4 days, but other than that, I would say most of your downtime/pain comes from the lipo site.

Thighs were horrible - I can’t remember the exact details but I remember it was extremely difficult to sit down and stand up after that. The blood rushing to your thighs made walking immediately after standing up to be tough, so if you work in an office, you may look a bit weird for the first 1 - 2 weeks.

Waist wasn’t so bad, which was my lipo site this time. I walked at a much slower pace for the first 4 days, after that it was a lot better. Standing up too wasn’t as bad as thighs, though I did have tightness but that really improved after day 4.

Crystallisation wise, nothing yet! It’s been 1 year and about 2 months? after my first op but I didn’t get any crystallisations. I’ll let you know maybe a year into my second op? Hahaha

2. For me, I didn’t really factor in anaesthetic.. which I guess now that you have mentioned it, I wonder why I didn’t lol. I think I was more focused on achieving the results that I wanted so I didn’t stop to consider the possible complications of not having an anaesthesiologist on site. Operation time-wise... I think I went in around 3 - 3.15pm, and when I woke up, it was around 5.50pm? The nurses did mentioned I had slept a lot though.

3. Cup size increase.. tbh, I actually stopped wearing normal bras after the operation. You’re not supposed to wear wired bras so I bought those bra camisoles that Uniqlo has, and it ended up being so comfortable that I continued with those. So in terms of feelings, I would say it’s half a cup increase per op. I went from 79cm to 83cm the first time, and after the second op, I’m staying consistent at 86cm.

4. Doctor Hong was my surgeon, but he’s the main guy there so he’s the one doing the ops! I think there’s another guy, but I’ve only seen him during my aesthetic sessions, like getting lasers for my scars because I was so paranoid that they will be permanent

Thanks so much for the reply! This is super helpful. Yea, I only mentioned anaesthetic because when I was looking into Fresh for fat transfer someone had mentioned the lack of anaesthesiologist as the reason why they decided not to go through with it in the end...

I know a common complaint after BA is that there's a loss of sensation the breast that takes a while to come back. Did you have that problem at all after your fat transfer? Also, did the areas which you had lipo stay permanently slim?

Thanks for sharing! I'm interested in doing this but am worried about a few things:

1. what's the downtime and have you felt any fat crystallize?
2. people on the forum have been talking about the cocktail fresh uses for anaesthesia as being kinda sketchy and the fact that there's no anaesthesiologist on site - did you weigh this and have things changed? how long was the operation (time wise)?
3. what was the overall cup size increase?
4. who was your surgeon?

Good to know. They've been around for a while and have always produced solid work (just at high prices) so they're still on my radar...!
I'm looking more into cocoline too now - i like the natural look they have going!

Yours looks so natural! This is exactly what I'm going for. I'm a big fan of Banobagi but I know they work closely with DocFinder which makes me nervous about extreme pricing inflation for foreigners...How did you find their aftercare? Was there any measure in place for a lower priced/free revision if you were unhappy? Were you able to bargain down from their listed promo prices?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get rhino this summer and am very nervous about a "fake" looking nose. I've noticed that a natural style of rhino has become pretty popular recently - this is the style I'm going for (basically a my nose, but better). Does anyone know any surgeons that specialise in this type of nose and know what the details of this rhino might be? Is it just an implant to raise the height of the nose bridge and nothing else?

And I think the wound would still be quite bloody at day 3?? I removed mine at day 6. I think it's a little too ridiculous to get them out early. (Half the time)!!I would rather risk missing my flight home

Yeah I went to get them cleaned today, and they all said that I can remove the stitches on Monday...but the nurse who cleaned my eye removed the stitch from my right eye!

Dr.Kwon said that it was ok but I'm worried/pissed. Hopefully this doesn't result in some latent complications with the line falling out/not staying... I'm getting the left stitch removed Monday.

Hey guys, I just got eyelid surgery at Teium this Tuesday in the afternoon. Quick question - has anyone ever gotten their stitches taken out early?

I got partial incision at Teium and the clinic is closed on the weekend...but I fly out Monday afternoon and to remove the stitches in Monday morning when the clinic opens would cut it really close to my flight (flight is at 12:55, clinic opens at 10, Incheon is 1.5 hours away).

Dr. Kwon said I can get them removed today (Friday) but it would only be D3. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it ok to get them removed early?

So I had my double eyelid surgery this morning and I just want to give some overview on what I learned/experienced through this. Hope it helps someone!

What I did: I did double embedding non-incision double eyelid surgery (maemol). I have thin-ish eyelid skin (more medium thickness, really) and I already had a double eyelid but the line wasn't clear. My main reason for doing this was to secure it so I could "open" my eyes easily, without having to use my forehead muscles (that causes wrinkles, yo).

The procedure: I was super nervous and scared, I barely even slept last night, but it was seriously not that bad. I only did partial anesthesia, which I was terrified of because...well, needles! In my eyelid! But it was just a few painful pinpricks that lasted under a minute.

I didn't feel any pain during the actual procedure, which lasted maybe 15-20 minutes tops. The most uncomfortable thing about the whole experience was the super bright lighting aimed directly into my face (necessary, but doesn't feel fantastic) and the unsettling feeling of having my eyelid tugged and pulled on.

Doc was great, had perfect bedside manner, told me briefly what he was doing, when pain or discomfort would start/stop, and made small talk to de-tense me. Was really helpful overall.

After the surgery, they put a small piece of gauze over the eyelid and I left - felt no pain, just relief and elation at finally having had this done! Oh, there's a bit of...not discomfort, per se - more a feeling of something different. I'm more used to having my left eye open wider/more easily than my right one so it felt a lil weird to feel the right one as open. Not sure if that makes sense...

What I learned/my 2 cents:

Don't do more than you need. I mentioned earlier that BK recommended I do ptosis. Another place also recommended I do epi. I really didn't need either. Sure, you might get a bit of a discount by doing it all at once, but IMHO, it might be better to do just what you really need and then see if you really need anything else - you might not.

Go with a doctor you feel comfortable with. I had Lasik done like a decade ago and it was the most frightening experience - not just 'cause you're wide awake and unable to blink throughout the entire procedure, but mostly because the doctor was a real jerk and he chose to snap at me every time I winced/involuntarily moved. Bedside manner really matters, especially when you're lying on an operation table alone and scared. Go with a doctor who's willing to listen to your concerns, answers your questions without rushing you and makes you feel comfortable.

Partial incisions seems to be out. I thought I'd need a partial incision and asked about this at 2 places and they both said they don't really recommend this anymore. Especially if you're young, don't have too much eyelid fat or saggy skin on your lids, they both said the preferred method is a more secure form of non-incision (like securing it twice or thrice). I also asked one of the consultants which surgery she got - her eyes didn't look natural - and she said partial incision and that she got it awhile back and wouldn't recommend it.

Do your due diligence. If you're here, you're probably doing that anyway, but yea...all these clinics are pretty close to each other (by foot, subway or cab) so always get a second (and third and fourth) opinion.

Don't be scared. Honestly, this surgery was way less painful and intensive than having my wisdom teeth removed. They gave me Tylenol as a painkiller. It's really not that bad.

Last note on prices - Banobagi was one of the more expensive places I went to. I know I could've gotten this done for a lot cheaper, especially since double eyelid surgeons are a dime a dozen in Seoul and I speak fluent Korean. But hey, you're only going to do it once (hopefully) so might as well as get it done where you want to/feel most comfortable.

I'll try to post pics later once I figure out how to do it so y'all can see how an eye looks after surgery (I know I was super curious about this)

Which clinic did you go to? This is my first time hearing about double embedding non-incision double eyelid surgery - it sounds interesting!

What other clinics did you consult at and do most offer double embedding?

Teium recommended that I do partial incision for a natural "scarless" look so it was interesting to hear your opinion.

I'm arriving Feb 15 for eyelid surgery! I'm a bit nervous myself, will break up 2 weeks in Korea with a few days of Japan in-between though I'm not sure it's the best decision if swelling is crazy.

Hi, I'm planning on flying out Feb 12!

I was recommended by a local friend to go to Euroclinic, I got a Restylane filler for my nose there this Dec for 0.8m KRW. The doctor speaks fluent English and apparently the eyes he did for friends of friends turned out really well! The consult was really quick which made me a bit nervous, he wasn't too chatty?
