  1. Hi guys,

I have started doing some research and I already have a list of clinics to consult for rhinoplasty. However, I am also interested in Chin implants in Korea, and haven't found too much info on them, and in particular, which ones to avoid at all cost. Does anyone know of clinics or doctors with a bad reputation for chin implants? Or is it the same as usual (Grand etc)?

    Thanks a lot

  2. Thanks for your reply

I completely understand, I have already done two past rhino and this one has to be the last (it is going to be so difficult to do another operation on my nose if this one fails). My previous surgeons have made my previously completely straight nose asymmetrical so I am now very sensitive to this I guess! May I ask which clinics are you mainly considering at the moment for your revision? I have seen reviews about good doctors, but there is little info about revision specialist in SK.

  3. It looks great on those RS reviews, however on the B/A pictures on the website, I notice some asymmetries on the noses post op which is making me a bit worried.

Have you read further reviews on this?

  4. I have been to fresh for skin treatments, they only have one surgeon though and he does NOT specialise in rhino. You would be better off choosing a rhino specialist in my opinion

  5. Has any of you tried facial lipo (laser) at 365mc or elsewhere in Korea?

I went to fresh 2 years ago for face lipo but they couldn't remove everything though they removed a good part (with traditional lipo, there are certain parts you can not access because they contain a lot of important nerves) so I am now looking into injections and laser face lipo.

  6. Did you see a major improvement after the deswelling treatment?

30% off your surgery procedure is pretty good!

  7. Hi,

I think they are both a bit more expensive than the average ps clinic in SK, aren't they?
Good to hear from you that their results for facial contouring seem to be pretty good, I'll have a look at their website! I hope your eyes turn nice! Good luck with the recovery!

  8. Thanks for the info! May I ask you how did you contact O&Young, did you take a translator with you to the consultation?
I'd love to know which clinic you chose for your nose revision as well. Hope you're recovering quickly!!!

  9. Hello,

I am trying to get a list of clinics which are more likely to give their patients dramatic (as opposed to subtil or conservative) results.

I am considering doing a nose revision + acculift + v-line surgery in SK.

I felt from reading the reviews on this forum that some clinics seem to have a significantly more conservative approach than others.

From what I understood so far:
    - The Line, Girin, The face dental, seem to be more on the conservative side
    - DA (?) & Braun seem to be much less conservative and more likely to give their patients dramatic results.

Do you know other clinics reputed for giving pretty dramatic results? (or on the contrary, clinics reputed for having a very conservative approach?)

Thanks in advance for your help

  10. Hi

Could you please PM me your before/after pics as well? I'd like to have an acculift+jaw reduction surgery at Girin but I am afraid they might be a bit too conservative and the result would be too subtil.

  11. Wow, a lot of great info!

Did you feel like you could have traveled around during your stay (like taking a train and have a weekend in another city in korea) or did you feel too weak for that?

  12. Thank you very much for the advice!! That's so nice of you to take the time to do that!

Do you feel the operation was worth it for you despite the sagging? The thing is that I do need to get a lot of fat out according to several surgeons (fat due to genetics, nothing a diet could fix) so I am wondering how visible is the sagging if there is not much to do to correct it?

  13. Did you go for a thread lift afterwards? a few clinics advised me to do acculift + thread lift to avoid skin sagging.

I am wondering if the thread lift afterwards is necessary though (I am 24) as it cost just as much as the acculift itself.

  14. Did anyone here contacted SK clinics dealing mostly with locals? (I have had a bad experience in another country with clinics marketing to foreigners and I'd rather go to a clinic popular among locals).

I have heard BeFor clinic, Everm and Cocoline are quite popular among Koreans but I am not sure how to approach them as their website don't have an english version.

Any tips on how to contact such clinics to get some advice on the procedures they would recommend, the cost of the procedure and setting a first consultation date would be greatly appreciated.
