I used Google. I thought of posting links to avoid questions (or accusations), but I as I said above, it's up to each person to do that on their own. I gave the broad strokes as to what made me decide to cross them off of my life. I did see bad reviews on here, but I backed them up with my own research. There is a scary amount of people who have read bad reviews here (with links), gone and gotten surgery at the clinic, ended up botched, then come back to complain. You can go back further in my thread to see that I was thisclose to going with Banobagi, but due to my research, I chose not to.

There is no doubt on anything that I posted. The deaths are true and everything I found was reported in the Korean news with the names of the clinics. If I could have found the name of the one that did the towers of jaws, I would have posted it.

By the way, I left my personal feelings out of all I posted. But in case you didn't get it about the clinic having a party while the patient was asleep, that put her in danger of dying due to an overdose of anesthesia since they had to prolong the amount of time she was under.

Hi eurasianbeauty, did you read anything about the doctors at Item ps by any chance? Some of the doctors there are from grand and I'm worried if the doctors that came to item were the doctors that had to do with those issues.

If you read my post you'll see that I've actually used certain clinic names as examples, not as recommendations. And my intention here isn't to take away from your Korean plastic surgery consulting business either.

I am not in the business of plastic surgery consulting or referrals such as your self; however I do work in beauty, therefore it is my responsibility to keep up with the trends. That's secondary to the fact I stated, which is that people do need to protect themselves by educating themselves on all matters they choose in life instead of relying on or paying someone else in hopes that they will operate with their best interest in mind. Personal responsibility and education is a must in plastic surgery. Lack there of is precisely why people get cheated and the cycle continues.

I've been creating beauty for decades in Los Angeles, the mecca of plastic surgery. And I too have seen it from many perspectives. And yes you are correct in that everything we read on the internet needs to be verified as there is no longer any truth to any matter except the motive to make money.

Jeet's post mentions "researching PS way too much in a way that is not normal.... ". First of all it is not up to you or anyone to claim standards for what is or isn't the norm. Actually, well informed clients would be an inconvenience to those providing the service, as dealing with these types of clients won't be as easy. The fact is, plastic surgery methods are not regulated and not at all standardized; making it one of the most unscrupulous business practices of man kind.

No doctor in this world will create aesthetically pleasing results every single time in plastic surgery. It is not black and white. Plastic surgery is an ongoing process, a collaboration with a doctor you trust. That is why you, the patient needs to be educated and know what you want.

This is one of the hospital I am considering for ps, but I was actually shocked to see what seemed like a recorded surgery procedure of a patient on their youtube channel. Does anyone know if they record surgeries of the patient without their consent?
