@Mimimari, Thank you for posting this question. I am also unhappy with the result and his attitude after operation. I decided to go to see Dr. Lee after reading your first post comment of his professionalism. My issue is I had lower bleph to remove the undereyes bags and didn’t turn out ok. I also had sagging jowl. I am in the upper 50s. Dr. Lee recommended to do cheek lift for the eyes and lower facelift for the jowl. He didn’t recommend the full facelift like other surgeons but his price is more than others’ full facelift. It made sense to me he addressed each issue. With great reviews and one post “I have only one face” on the back of my mind, I went ahead with him.

Operation day. Right before going into the operation room I had to sign the all Korean language consent form, one whole page in essay writing. I also was told to write Dr. Lee full name at the first sentence. After operation. The eye gel (Tetra….) he prescribed I found out later it is used for dogs and cats eyes infection in the US. Luckily I didn’t use it. The first time he checked the incision. He made the incision too long beyond the end of one eye. He said to me why there is this line. It is ridiculous, how a patient did any thing with it. Every time he didn’t want to hear of my questions and concern, showing different character than in consultation. The head wrap was only took off for cleaning the incision and washing hair and put it back until the day all stitch off. I didn’t see the operation site on ears at all. The day after all stitch off, I noticed my lower part of front ears were cut out. The undereyes didn’t look good due to still swelling. The jowl sagging hold up well due to muscle still very tight. Had he done the check lift as the undereyes incision is short about 1/3 of eyelid length instead of all the way under the lid. Now it is over 3 months post-op there is no swelling, only some tight muscle. The undereyes still look the same as before surgery. The jowl sagging come back, I understand it is only over 3 months but how the sagging will be resolved at one year? I doubt it.

I’m sorry at first my skin was tight due to surgery but a year after surgery I saw the real result.

I am now fixing my concerns with help of a fabulous doctor I found in Seoul. I did few surgeries with him and going there in December to do more.
I am so happy with dr Kim but I do not wanna rush in share info about him before my other upcoming surgeries. Contact me on KakaoTalk malm22

Hi guys

I did my facelift/brow lift with dr Lee after Vline surgery at Cinderella which now I do not recommend both clinics as people are saying here there are not much difference before after only I was left with a scare and hefty bill.

Since then I did months of research and finally found a fantastic doctor, who is an artist when it comes to plastic surgery.

He does not have a big clinic nor adversities anywhere, I have done 3 procedures with him last June and I am so happy with my results.
I am going back to dr. Kim with my friend in December to do cheek lift (no one can do his technique of cheek lift) and genioplasty my friend is coming with me for facelift and cheek lift.

This doctor has very unique techniques and approaches when it comes to plastic surgery. The prices are also reasonable, I am not here to promote him and if you wanna do anything with him do your research before.

I’ll update you guys after my surgery in December and happy to do a video call if u wish but please do not ask for before after.

Hey everyone

I am writing a review for 1 year PO facelift with doctor Lee at Area88.
So I had a V-line surgery at Cinderella 3 years ago which was ok but would not recommend it, 2 years after that I decided to have a facelift/neck/forehead because...
After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead with Dr, Lee, however, I am not happy with my $10k facelift/neck (Forehead done by Dr, lee's colleague and I am more or less satisfied) at all, feels like I wasted the $$$ and that really bothers me. I am in my early 30's and my main concern expressed to Dr, Lee was double layers of skin when I smile and wanted to have a more firm/ prominent jawline and get rid of double chin when I smile, unfortunately, this issue has not been resolved at all and I deeply regret my decision. I can barely see any different and left with double skin layers and droopy cheek.

Year on and now I am looking into finding a good doctor to improve my face without leaving scars and trust me it's so frustrating.
I've searched for forehead contouring/shaving and found doctor Kim which is more famous with Korean, now it's few weeks PO but the result is really good and I received great comments about it.
Dr, Kim suggested that if I do not wish to do a facelift, he can do a cheek lift through my lower eyelids without leaving any scare. while I was at his clinic for forehead and eyebrows contouring I saw his patients with cheek lift, the result was great so I am planning to get a cheek lift with dr, Kim in September to improve my smile layers.
BTW Dr, Kim is the only one that performs brow bone shaving through a small incision in the headline.
I also did lateral canthoplasty with Dr Kim

Who else is unhappy with their results with Dr, Lee?

Check out doctor Kim at K-art, he is the only one i know that does make small incisions for brow bone reduction.
I have had it recently with him and will update you the result next month.

Hi everyone
I am coming to Korea for Brow bone reduction and thinking of going to k-art http://www.k-artps.com/en/ , does anyone know any other doctor for this procedure.
I am also looking for a good doctor for facial contouring for a friend who is planning to join me to Korea to do facial contouring(v-line) I did mine with Cinderella 3 years ago, the result is good but I wanted a more dramatic v-line look. anyone would recommend any good doctor that is not too expensive.

Does anyone know whether 2 doctors from 2 different clinics would agree to do surgery at the same time because my friend is super busy and have kids she would like to do Brow bone reduction and jaw reduction all together at the same time.

My experience finding a clinic for Brow bone reduction :

A. This Doctor in Belgium is an expert in this field, I contacted the doctor Dr Bart van de Ven via their online forum, sent my pictures and paid for 50Euros and 4days later I received an email with doctor suggestion and quote (Euro7000). The appointment will at least take 6months+.

B. I contacted doctor Chuang at wish clinic in Taiwan and received an email back about the cost (TWD140000) however they did not reply back to my emails after that which is strange.

I am very interested in brow bone reduction surgery and hoping to find a clinic in Korea or possibly Taiwan. I am cisgender female (western features) but the angle of my brow bone compared to my nose gives a masculine and sunken-eye appearance. I had hoped rhinoplasty, lots of botox/fillers, and giving an illusion of a raised brow with brow microblading (tattoo) would help, but it didn’t give as much of a feminine result as I wished.

So far, most of the ffs and brow bone reduction before & afters I have seen are by surgeons in the US, which look amazing but after having experience in both Korea and the US for various surgeries, I prefer Korea (cost is a benefit but skill, final result and hospital treatment is obviously more important).

I have only really found information on larger hospitals (ID, Wish Clinic, Grand) which show these procedures on their websites....but there are so many threads advising against places like ID.

Would anyone have information on this? Or looking into the procedure yourself? Most threads I see for this topic on TPF are left unanswered or outdated.

No i did not do fat grafting, doctor recommended it would be better if i do it after one year or so

Hi everyone it has been 6 months since my facelift.
So where to start , hmmm i am very happy and love my new face, so natural and the scares are not that visible, (i have to admit that at first i panicked that my scars wont fade away) i was expecting more lift in my forehead but perhaps i wouldn't look natural.
To everyone who is considering facelift you need to know SMAS is a natural facelift and maybe not for everyone who prefer more of a dramatic facelift however it is perfectly works for me as i didnt wanna end up looking like M jackson lol

Dr Lee is an experienced and confident doctor lil pricey but worth every penny

Its over a month since i did full face and neck SMAS with doctor Lee.
I do not want to comment on my final result for now until at least 3 months.
However i will write about my experience with Dr. lee, surgery and recovery.

On my appointment with Dr. lee i was very comfortable and felt he is a professional and skilled facelift surgeon. He was very calm explaining the procedure and recovery, right after the consultation i settled with the payment and went in for my surgery.
After waking up which was about 11pm, i was in lots of pain and discomfort throughout the night and was given painkillers to ease the pain which did not really help, for that i had a little sleep until next morning. The next day my pain was almost gone but i was exhausted, Dr. discharged me the next morning and i went back to my hotel to rest.
The next day all pain and discomfort were gone, i was swollen and had some bruises with numbness which is normal, i visited doctor every couple of days for check up and to wash my hair at the clinic.
My scars are still visible and i believe it would take few more months to get red of them.
So far i cannot complain about my experience and result, however like any other cosmetic surgery, you need to allow 6 months to see and judge the actual result.

Now I'm coming back just to give you guys some quick news about my operation. If you ever followed my threads, you'd probably know that this was my second time in Seoul for plastic surgery.
The first time dated back to september 2014, where I had my first nose revision at April 31 with doctor Kim. To be honest I wasn't really satisfied with the result. Actually the silicon implant was placed too high at the radix (part of the nose between our eyebrows), but too low on the bridge, which gave my nose a curvy look from 45 degrees view. I was sooo sad and desperated after this revision, because my nose looked really weird. I think that the fault was also mine, since right before the operation I told doctor Kim that I wanted a high radix . His fault was that he didn't make it look balanced with the bridge though. I hesistated about going through one more revision (that was my 3rd rhinoplasty), but I couldn't live with that nose. Some people even asked me what happened to my nose, why my radix looked so swollen all the time (.
During this desperated period, thanks God that Brian never left me alone. We've talked alot on Kakaotalk, he always tried to reassure me from the beginning to the end of the process. We hoped that my nose would get better when the swelling went down. Unfortunately it didn't happen. I waited for one year tp be able to see THE FINAL RESULT, which didn't please me at all, then decided to discuss with Brian about the revision. Despite a really tight work Schedule (you know how hard Koreans work, right? lol), Brian arranged a revision for me, which was TOTALLY FREE. If you guys ever had plastic surgery in Seoul, you would probably know that it is not the case for all clinics. Some clinics might try to dissuade you or try to make you pay for 50% for the revision even if it's a doctor's "technical fault".
Thanks God that it didn't happen that way with April 31. Brian, as Professional and understanding as he is, knew absolutely how to deal with sad patients like me lol. He didn't hesistate to talk with his managers, and I've waited for a long time to have their answer but it's totally worth it!
So, I came back to Seoul in March 2016 for the revision. Everyone was really kind to me, even they knew that I have benefited from a free revision. Brian was always there for me, he took me to see the consultant then doctor Kim. I was unhappy with the first operation done by doctor Kim, but I can never hate him. He was so kind and funny, he told me immediately what he would do to fix my nose. He doesn't even care about the fact that I'm having a free revision. To him, i'm just a patient like anyone else.
I was so anxious before the operation. You know once we have a bad experience, we become more anxious. Both doctor Kim and Brian convinced me that the revision rhinoplasty wans't that risky and he'll make it right this time.
It was really reassuring to me to have Brian as a friend, since I travelled alone and I don't know anyone in Korea. He made things go smoothly, and was there for me during consultation, operation and post op cares since I only speak english. And the nurses in April 31, how kind they are! Despite my fear, I felt so comfortable when they took care of my nose lol.

So now it's been 2 weeks and a half since my operation. The swelling is going down from day to day. I have to wait for at least one month before telling you if I'm happy with the final result, but I already can tell that my nose looks much better now .

I'm not doing any advertisement for any clinic. I'm just telling you about my experience to encourage anyone who is going through rhinoplasty revisions. Don't loose hope, if you choose a talented doctor, he can fix things for you! April 31 may be a little more expensive than other clinics, but doctor Kim's talent and the kindness, the professionalism of Brian and the nurses there make it really worth the price

i had my 3rd rhinoplasty revision 10 days ago at Cinderella, this is my first time to use implant for the bridge. my nose looks heavily swollen now and i cant say anything about the result at this point.
Before surgery i showed a photo that i wanted my nose to look similar to the doctor. Lets hope is our last time as i am truly tired after 3 rhinoplasty.

Yes dear I'm from UK, I honestly had the best serviced offered to my by Comfort zone surgery in Istanbul.

I am in Seoul now, and did multiple surgeries (v-line,forehead implants, chin implants) last week at Cindrella through doctorfinder!

All major clinics have translator and they communicate via email.
I was expecting more professional service from docfinder! Or maybe I'm just spoiled after using comfort zone surgery in turkey!

I had 5 areas Lipo done in Istanbul with doctor Mete from comfort zone surgery clinic. I'm very happy with my result many of my friends from UK travel there as this clinic provides free accommodation between 5-20 days, food transport and most important care. there are 3-4 carerer who lives in the villa 24/7 . The accommodation there is a large nice clean villa , every patient has its own room.
also no hidden charges.
By the way I only paid £2800 included everything except my flight.

Last month, I went to clinic in Korea and asked them but there wasn't such a foreigner price or something.
I think they just quote higher for foreigners.
Am thinking I can provide service to search famous clinics and get quotation. And also booking too.
Price probably different.
And source you get and Korean's get is different.
Because we usually search from people's experience and results review.
Pls message me if you need.
FYI, Busan is cheaper than Seoul and results will be same.
Since skills and machinery improved so it should be fine.
I have done some surgeries in Busan, but it was good.

Hello everyone
I'm new in this post .I'm from middle eastern descent about 29 years old.
After some research I'm very interested to visit Seoul for multiple surgeries.

I would like to do faical contouring and lipo around my chin area,
Rhinoplasty and upper lip lifting,
And forhead augmentation.
Lipo got Upper arm with area around.

I need to add that I underwent 2 rhinoplasty surgeries previously but I'm not happy!
I have visited multiple websites but the only one I perefered was Wonjin before & after especially rhinoplasty .
But I hear from many that they are not good !!!
I did not like rhinoplasties at Bonobagi. My nose is very important as this is going to be my third time !
I would appreciate if anyone could kindly please give me any suggestion!
