Thank you !^^. I am living in HK, and it just takes 3hours from HK to KR. So, this time will be "revision surgery consultation journey". After that, i will pick my revision surgery doctor. I appointed Dr. Jin, but also vip, jw, and 2 more doctors. Now, I got problem with silicone since i did it in Korea late of 2016. So this time, have to be my last surgery. And your review made my decision to have consultation with Dr. Jin. Thank you again ~

Opted for sliding genioplasty and facial contouring (v-line) surgery with CInderella Clinic in Seoul, South Korea. There were twin patients whose results were very good. Used a service docfinderkorea potential clients use to help narrow down providers and give recommendations on treatment. The service was the only contact I had with clinic prior to surgery. I did request a video consult but was told that was not available. On the day of surgery, we moved to several different offices for the consult, the lobby was so busy. There were 3 coordinators in all who spoke perfect English including the docfinderkorea rep. When I explained what most concerned me, that information was passed on to the surgeon who was not in the room at the time. When the Dr. Sun Min Hong, did arrive, he could not have been less interested in my case.
Should have been a red flag but I'd flown from Seattle, made hotel reservations, etc.
One of the coordinators kept telling me to just trust the doctor.
Scheduled surgery the same day as the consult and there were complications with my blood pressure. It took longer than planned but otherwise I felt fine. There was one coordinator, Megan who was available along with a nurse throughout the night. The next day they requested my credit card for medications. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication because docfinderkorea was supposed to cover those costs. But they did reimburse me for half of the $160 charge.
Did I see the Dr. again or nurse? Nope. So I was curious how surgery went but it was time to go home, with a ton of pumpkin juice. My recovery was quick, not a lot of swelling. But it did not seem that the sliding genioplasty was performed. I spoke with the rep at docfinderkorea about my concerns but she told me to follow up in 2 months.
I requested to come in a day early to go over concerns and they told me no. When I returned after one week for the follow up thought I would finally have the opportunity to speak with doctor or someone who actually performed surgery. We did post op xrays and there was no discernible difference! When nurse removed stitches, the doctor came in for a few seconds to evaluate my mouth then left. I asked if I could speak with him and was told no. It was just the worst experience and I could not believe how horribly I was treated by the doctor and Cinderella Clinic. It's been 8 months and you can not tell any surgery was performed. They took $12,000 and did not perform the surgery as requested! Such a fraud.
Did express my concerns with docfinderkorea and was told they are popular with K- POP stars. so I guess if you are not that demographic or a you tube personality you are treated poorly and will get poor results. Do not go to this Clinic, there are way too many clinics who will not rip you off and care about patients. I've tried reaching out several times to the clinic but have had no response.

Dr. Jin hong ryul ?, as i known, he is a master of rhinoplasty in Korea. and he never use silicone on nose. silicone is not good item for nose and i agree with it.

Finally, today i got to see Anna again. Oh boy what a relieved. I could ask her my questions. Well, the same answers given...swelling.

I do feel like my columella is not brought forward as much as i had wanted to and for what since I didnt do any alar reduction (was recommended by the doctor and was told about the risk, and I agreed), it made my alar looks more saggier than before. i had wanted my columella to appear on the side. and from the front to appear more forward than my alar base.
Anna said there was limitation for my nose and apparently thats the best it could go to. but honestly i didnt think it was made forwarded at all. but yes it is more higher and thus makes it pointer (hence the piggy upturned effect). They did informed me that it will make my nose slightly upturned (i agreed cause i understand that what i wanted was to reverse my droopy tip).

theres also nothing changes in the scar area actually as i previously thought. i was just swelling really badly and hence i cant see the scar and now that i have less swelling the scar from previous surgery still there. Anna said Dr. did a W incision to reduce the last scar (which I hope that really did happened), while the horizontal scar i had-left like that. though i had thought dr. did mention he would correct it during my last consultation with him before i signed the booking.

I havent got my sleep and this is really bad. i started to regret why i did this in the first place.
to be honest, this is depressing...and I know im not the only who would go through this after post op. im still hoping this is not the result that i would end up with.

My thinking is Dr. had to use your ear cartilage, guess it was actually not enough for it.??

I had my surgery with Dr Jin from Dr Jin premium nose clinic. I'm writing my review from my experience, but overall, I would say it is really positive and I am so happy with my result. Might want to set up a consult with them if you have the time! Dr Jin is also an ENT and only uses autologous material, his aesthetic also matches mine. Don't want my nose to look out of place on my face, still want to look like my ethnicity. It's been 3 weeks and basically no one knows I had the surgery... it looks so natural and normal. He's very skilled IMO. No scars, and the recovery has been easy.

Im doing this post as a my own process towards making a decision and also I thought it would be good to give some stars to some of the clinics that I didnt end up choosing in the end but nevertheless have been amazing.
Friends that knows me know that I know exactly what I want & how i want. Fussy is my middle name and interrogation is my top skill. Now, so when it comes to my revision rhinoplasty thanks to the work of art from Dr.Kuladeva Ratnam representing few hospital and clinics who did a pretty good job at scarred my already short columella ( which all the doctors here thought I had an accident from that zig zag scar in vertical line to my columella line...I am very much in doubt on the next doctor...so my questions are as long as if Im choosing my next husband.

I have all the time in the world (I cant stress how this is important for whoever deciding on getting PS) for consultation, surgery down to healing as Im in between jobs atm and will only start on late this year. Having this time would allow me to search with all aspects that best suits me. (and to my surprise, getting consultations in a lot of clinics has helped me understand alot of things about my nose and its limitation and expectation as each doctor saw something that the other didnt (including me).

I have done consultations from 8 different clinics. I would start with the one that is a definite X and will process my thoughts to the WINNER. Yes, till now I still cant decide but I know I should make up my mind as I think i wont be able to keep up with the BBQ & soju as my diet for a very long time (im tempted each evening for the same kind).

8- Dr.Jin from Dr.Jean Otolaryngologist also go by Dr.Jin Premium Nose Clinic.
NEGATIVE- DO NOT GO HERE
I was in touch with God knows who which contact i got from his instagram and also some of his promoters here on PS (fake patients) -whom btw gave a flying review about Dr.Jin but to chicken to show their b&a or better still lets have a chit chat over KK and screen if you are as real as you mentioned.
Based on the flying colours review and because I do have functional problem that I would prefer an ENT to address, I had decided to go to him although I was informed there is a 20k fee which should include a CT Scan.
Through chat, the guy on whatsapp was putting Dr.Jin highly too. Well so my expectation has only gotten higher.
Went there, none of the staffs speak English. The guy on the phone who said he will be there was not there. Went in the consultation room. I could already feel Dr. Jin was on his imaginary pedestal. (I dont think so he is even famous among the local as there were 1 or 2 at his clinic (and mind you, this is also a full ENT clinic which usually in other countries would be packed if the doctor is as good as on paper).

Hi guys, i want to share my surgery experience in Opera Plastic Surgery
About Opera : location is in front of Gangnam Station. They have 6 Specialized medical teams and 2 Anesthesiologists.
Surgeries I did : eyes, nose and face contouring.

I was exchange student in one of University in Korea. Before i was not satisfied with my face, especially my face shape. How can i know about Opera, my Korean friend introduced me there. She did double eyelid surgery there and i like her result. So i went there with my friend. The clinic looks good and clean, the employees were beautiful and looks nice. I did consultation with chinese beauty consultant (i'm from hongkong, they also have english, indonesian and another language interpreter) and after i met the surgeon.They were so nice even i asked a lot of questions

I took ct pictures for face contouring.
For breast augmentation I did with Dr.Kim, he recommended me exactly like I thought, he said I should do cheek bones reduction. For square jaw, he recommended me to do long curve square jaw surgery and advancement genioplasty.

After face contouring, I got consultation for eyes and nose with another surgeon. I thought I will get all consultation with one surgeon but in Opera, they do consultation and surgery with
specialized doctor in every part which is a good sign and show that they are professional. So I got face contouring with FC specialized surgeon, for eyes and nose i did with specialized surgeon in this part too.

For eyes, I used to heard that I have loose eyes that make me look sleepy and the doctor said I have big space between my eyes. So he recommended me to do non incision ptosis correction and epi (inner fold surgery). For nose, he recommended me to do nose bridge + nose tip and alar reduction because he said I have short and big nose

About budget :
Face contouring : cheek bones + square jaw + chin : $7000
Eyes : non incision ptosis correction + epi : $2000
Nose : nose bridge + nose tip + alar reduction : $2600
I was very very surprised about the prices, because it was cheaper than I thought.
Actually the original prices were more expensive, they gave me a lot of discount because I did a lot of surgeries.
But because it’s cheap, I worried about the Surgeon, maybe they are not good and the facilities are bad too. But the beauty consultant and the surgeons were nice, my friend result was good, and there was a lot of local costumers who waiting for surgery. So i trusted them and i made decision in this clinic.

I did surgery with general anesthesia. I was touched when I did anesthesia because the Anesthesiologist stayed with me during the surgery, she made me feel better and less scared.

For recovery care like swollen etc, I got service for free continuosly until I became better.
Conclusion :
- the hospital fasilities are good
- the surgeons and the beauty consultant are friendly
- low price
- good service of Anesthesiologist
- great after care service
- friendly private interpreter
They took care of me from before surgery until i finished my recovery.

And about the results??
I’m so so satisfied with the results and great services for after care that’s why I write my review in this forum
Now i'm trying to contact them again and some clinics for breast augmentation (i already back to hongkong now), i hope they will give me big discount. I will share my experience again after i decided which clinic i will go. Hope my experience help you guys

Thank you for sharing your experience, I think their cost is so much cheaper than others. Will their revision rhino is good too? Could you tell me who is a rhino & revision surgeon in Opera ? I am researching surgeons for my revision rhinoplasty, and als planing to have a consultation with them.

I just want everyone to beware of promoters on the purse forum. Moderators doing their best but its hard to control everything. In our kakao group we have talked about our frustration with purse lately because we have been noticing many promoters.

When we read a review of a clinic, especially when they say they used an agent and give praise to the agent, you must look at how many posts the person who wrote the review has. When you see a comment supporting using a particular agent you must look at how many posts that person has. Many of these supporting comments say "Yes my friend did with this agency and look so nice afterwards" and "the price is same with this agency as when you go clinic yourself" If you notice that person is a new forum member with only a few posts please have your guard up that there is likely it is a promoter post and not a real post.

I fell prey to promoters because there were people promoting the clinic I went to and saying the doctors are very good. I did not get the best result for my nose (was ok only I can still accept) but I got very bad result for my fat graft making me sag a old lady. Please beware of promoters and choose wisely with research everyone

Hi, Thank you for your info. i think this tread must be in the first line for everybody here to get aware of them, i also heard of it from soyoung.com, they said some of promoter or agencies get a huge commission from cliniic and it is also from your total payment, 30% to 50% ?? what a surprise.. i think if you a smart then you can save your money and you can get more sevice with it.

I have another question... why do many Korean surgery websites look the same with the same layout? Are they connected or under the same organization? For example, their site looks a lot like iWell's.

Also, what does "Designated medical center for attracting foreign patients by ministry of health & welfare" mean? Is there some sort of requirement and does it reflect higher standards?

Hi, I had v-line surgery at ID Hospital a few years ago. I also had cheekbone reduction at the same time. I would say that the surgery was not satisfactory and I'm actually going back to Korea this September to have revision surgery. ID Hospital was nice enough to offer a revision to fix my issue but I actually had a small revision with ID on my chin in 2011 and I'm still not happy with the result.

I did experience skin sagging when all the swelling went away. V-line actually got rid of my double chin. I had some nerve damage and it's a bit numb on the right side of my chin. My chin is also a bit crooked and my face is asymmetric. I signed up for this forum hoping to get info specifically on cheekbone/v-line revision specialists.

ID is letting me get a revision for free but I don't think I have much faith in them anymore so I'm looking to different clinics that may be better. I guess I won't know if I'll have them do the revision until I talk to other clinics first.

It's still pretty soon to tell what will happen to your face. What percentage of swelling do you have left? What clinic did you go to and would you recommend them? Thanks!

Oh my god! I am so sorry to hear that you are not happy with it. Actually i also considering my V-line surgery and i consulted it with ID hospital, but there is so many bad reviews in China.. like shadow doctor and bad result? ... So, ID do not list up in my clinic choice. sorry to heat that but thank you for your information.
