  1. Hey everyone -

So I started a serious Instagram investigation using Korean plastic Surgery hashtags (i’m Korean) and have seemed to come up on a goldmine or Korean clinics that seem to only cater to Koreans, as they only write in Korean and don’t “advertise” or cater at all to English speakers. One that I found which looks particularly interesting is a clinic in Gangnam called Gyalhumhan (갸름한). This translates to “slender” or Korean people use it to describe a vline shaped face.

Wondering if anyone here has heard of them ? Particularly any local Koreans ? I’m really loving the before and after photos of their fc procedures.

  2. I would love to hear about all of your personal experiences with these surgeries - positive and negative ! I'm going to Seoul very soon for rhinoplasty and have been agonizing over getting my jaw slimmed down, as I've heard of so many scary botched surgeries in this category from the past (10 plus years ago). I know that surgeons are more advanced now, but I can't seem to shake the fear ... So I'd really appreciate your first hand accounts

  3. I just want to thank you for writing this post.

You are saving many people from thousands of dollars and time wasted, physical / emotional /psychological stress, and perhaps even death. These unethical clinics, who prey on unknowing foreigners, need to be called out for their absolutely disgusting behavior and practices.

Purseforum is an extremely valuable resource for us to exchange inofrmation, and they are very well aware of this. This is why they give 50% (?!?!) discounts for patients who write a positive review on this platform. Well writing an honest, negative review probably has double or triple the effect, in my opinion ...

So once again - thank you. It's the real reviews like yours, though painful to read, that keep this forum strong.

Sending you the best in your recovery and hope that you find all that you need to make your beauty goals come to reality.

  4. Hi Lovelypeach !

Thank you for your honest and detailed reply. If you don’t mind me asking, where are you getting your FC done ?

I would love to know who you’ve shortlisted too !

  5. I've been on this forum for many, many months now looking for serious answers - and basically at this point feel like I would be much better off just going to Seoul a few weeks ahead and asking native Koreans for advice on clinics ‍♀️

After much digging here on purseforum, I had decided on April 31 and GNG as my top 2. But a couple weeks rolled by and I started to read some strange/shady/not so great comments which now just make me feel like I don't know what to believe !

If anyone here can give me honest, first person, nonsponsored, non fake reviews or references on the best clinics, I would so very appreciate it. .

I am looking to do FC, Eyelids, and revision rhino.

    THANK YOU

  6. That's awesome ! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us here .... Your reviews and comments are really helpful

  7. Hi CallieCat -

Congratulations on your successful surgeries

If you don't mind me asking, have you been given a discount from GNG for your reviews and also for allowing them to your before and after photos on their Instagram account ?

  8. Hi Miss Orange,

I am seriously grateful that you took the time out to respond. Plastic surgery is not something to be taken lightly, and I truly appreciate you helping me with this vital information. If you have the time, I would like to talk a bit more in depth about this ... Please do message me if you can

  9. Oh dear.

I had Gng on my shortlist - reading your post is scaring me now ! May I ask which clinics you would recommend ?

  10. I was seriously considering April 31 and was in talks (using KKT) with their English speaking rep Brian - I just got a very strange feeling from it and ended up crossing them off my list. And after researching further I saw that many people complained about Brian mysteriously "disappearing" after the surgery was finished - whereas before he would be really helpful and available during the consultation/presurgery process. I just don't really know what to trust anymore either ...

  11. Did you have your rhinoplasty with dr. Kim ? I would love to speak with you if you're okay to share ...

  12. Hi white dandelion -

I too am looking at gng for a revision and am also looking for a drastic but natural change. Did you end up booking with gng ? I would love to hear about your experience.

  13. @SY1

If you are comfortable doing so, I would love to see your before and afters ? I'm really going back and forth between gng and April 31 - from aprils website, it seems their rhinoplasties are very very subtle, which for me may not be the best thing as I'm hoping to make a few dramatic (yet natural) changes. It would be really helpful to see some real photos other than the ones they show on their website. If you are open to sharing, please pm me
