The price is quite high and he recommended me to use rib cartilage.
I am still not sure to pick him, since the surgery will be quite invasive (using rib), but I heard that the scar under chest of his patient is around 1.5 cm (very small), depending on patient's skin type.

I am also considering Prof. Jang at Asan Medical Center.

Can anyone give any suggestion on which doctor to choose? In my case both doctors will use the same technique. (rib cartilage) And septum needs to be correct.
Any advice would be very appreciated!

  6. Recently, there has been controversy in Busan Plastic Surgery, which has been receiving hundreds of millions of won worth of bribes and asking public relations agencies to post false or excessive publicity. Below is a news article on April 6, 2016.

The prosecutors arrested a number of well-known plastic surgeons in Busan, who gave hundreds of millions of dollars in advertising expenses to advertising agencies to collect patients with illegal postings or over-advertising in Internet cafes. According to the prosecution's allegations, the director of the Plastic Surgery Association, A, etc., is charged with giving the agency an estimated amount of 609 million won for posting a false statement to promote plastic surgery from 2013 until September last year. The advertising agency that received the publicity fee compiled with the famous Internet cafe operator who shared the information about the molding, and posted false and excessive publicity articles. In this process, the cafe operator received a portion of the publicity fee received by the advertising agency from the plastic surgeon, and in return, 'OO hospital has no side effects.Swelling was also soon dropped 'and posted false and hype. They even hired someone who had never undergone surgery as a part-time job, and turned around and gave false comments.

  7. Plastic surgery is the principle of plastic surgeons. The Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Public Relations Director of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery said, "In the Plastic Surgery Residency course, about 3 to 7 courses of beauty surgery and reconstructive surgery (breast reconstruction of breast cancer patients) · There is no specialist in the area of specialist in the area of eye, breast surgery, etc. "

Whether the doctor is a plastic surgeon can be confirmed to some extent by the billboard. According to the current medical law, only the members of a plastic surgery specialist are allowed to mark '○○○ plastic surgery' on the sign. If you are not a plastic surgeon, you will be marked as "○○ doctor medical practice plastic surgery". At this time, the size of the text for "medical practice" and "plastic surgeon" should be half the size of the "○○ member" (mutual), and if it breaks, the first correction order and the second business suspension 15 days.

Kwon In-soo, a plastic surgery surgeon, said, "Some lawmakers do not make the letters of the lawmakers, the medical subjects, and so on the same as the signboard color, It is also a good idea to take a look at the certifications. "

If you go to 'plastic Korea' (www.prskorea.co.kr), a plastic surgeon's specialist website, you can search for local specialty information. There are some lawmakers who have been awarded certificates of 'International Plastic Surgery Specialist', but this certificate has not been approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It is not illegal for a doctor who is not a specialist or specialist such as obstetrics, gynecology, otolaryngology, surgery, and anesthesiology to do plastic surgery. Especially, nose and throat doctors specialize in nose surgery.

Kwon Sun-heon, director of policy at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, said, "As a result of a recent survey of hospitals in three districts of Gangnam, Seoul, there were 361 medical clinics and 521 medical clinics.

  8. Hey forumers,

Have anyone known how to check what if doctor that we're interested to have surgery with is 'Board certified plastic surgeons' or not? I heard that some societies of plastic surgery in Korea are lifetime members, however some members are harder one to get, and can be forfeited if they did something wrong. One girl in this forum told me that most of GRAND doctors used to be 'Board certified plastic surgeons', but after shadow doctor accident, some of them no longer hold this status.

List of clinics that I don't find this status, including Shimmian, Jayjun, MVP, Baum, Wonjin, GNG. This is just what I saw in their website, maybe doctors have but forgot to post it????

Can anyone give me some clarification on how to check? As far as I know many clinics don't have certified doctor. Is that true? Please advice.

  9. @CallieCat Do you know are doctors at GNG like Dr.Seong, Hong, Son board certified of plastic surgeons? I know that some society is easier to get, but board certified of plastic surgeons is the harder one to get. Some even been forfeited later if they did something wrong, I heard that all of GRAND surgeons were board certified of plastic surgeons before, but after shadow doctors accident some of them seemed to lose their status.

I tried to check in GNG website in both English and Korean websites before consultation, but haven't found.
    Please give some advice.

  11. Hi do you mind sharing how much did VIP quote you for rib-rhino? I heard that they are very expensive?
    Thank you.

  12. I am so sorry for you. They are really bad clinic.
I have seen law firm that specialized in plastic surgery in Korea before. Maybe they are willing to help you.

  13. The thing that I will tell is not my own experience, there is another forumer I spoke via Kakao. She said that if something goes wrong with your ps. This clinic will ask you to pay at least 1 million KRW for revision, i.e.. asymmetric nostril, infected rhino(this price is for removal only).

I am not sure this is true, can anyone give me some clarification? I am also interested in this clinic too.
