I have a kind of stupid question. What happens to the forehead skin that gets transplants? Does it become a scalp or the skin stays the same? I’m mostly concerned about aging and getting wrinkles in that area. I don’t want it to droop down when I’m old. Also I can’t put any skincare on the transplanted area. Will it age like the rest of the forehead or will it become thicker and scalp-like?
Most clinics do chin implants and jaw shaving, but are there any clinics that do implants for the jaw? So far I've been searching in English but I don't see any results. I'm going to Korea in August and it would be great to do all my surgeries at once. Anyone know?
You can try exercising. If you do long distance low resistance running/walking it makes your legs skinny and reduces muscles. Like walking on the treadmill or jogging lightly for 40 minutes.
I believe there are surgeries to cut the masseter muscle but I read a doctor said you need jaw therapy after. Idk how true that is but there is a clinic called small face plastic surgery that has permanent (or so they say) masseter reduction. I've never heard of this clinic before though
Peak season is both summer and winter. In Korea winter break is longer than summer break so many people, especially students, get surgery during this time.
Exactly this. Read a lot of experiences and reviews people post here and online, but keep in mind that not everything will be truthful. If a clinic catches your attention, put it on your list and go for a consultation in Korea. A few of my considerations are DAPRS, MVP, Braun, and Opera.
I agree. I'm also interested in this surgery and I would rather pay more and do it with an experienced head surgeon.
There are millions of doctors in America, maybe you just gotta find one you like and trust Look all around the country not just near you. If you don't mind travelling to Korea, I'm sure you don't mind going to other states. Also, it might be better to pay more for an experienced American doctor than inexperienced Korean. Just because they're Korean doesn't automatically make them more skilled. Not to mention head augmentation is more of a western surgery than Asian.
There are smaller clinics like DAPRS that have specialists. Optimally it would be great to have each feature done by a true expert but doing them all in one clinic gives you better chance of more discount and saves time. Obviously if you don't live in Korea, it will be difficult to fly back and forth for each procedure.
