  1. @Sonya714 , just ignore her - most people who have been here for some time do that. With this type of person, don't feed them, don't give them the attention they need. I really hate those people who post reviews (good or bad) without evidence to support what they say. As you said, I only believe what I see, not what I heard from some random people. From Ashleylovesyou' s comment, someone who met Mia in person thought her nose looked really good - you never know who you can trust, but bashing a clinic enthusiastically to draw people to another clinic sounds more like a shill to me. I am glad that Mia stop talking to her - maybe she saw my message sometime ago warning her about that.

  2. I've just noticed that she dodged your question when you asked if Mia is happy now. Instead she said Mia was so depressed. A lot of people were depressed right after their surgeries for many different reasons. I would only trust a bad review if I see a picture, not from someone who has a vendetta against a clinic just because they quoted her a high price.

Also, be careful when talking and sharing with people who tend to inflate the situation and talk on your behalf to support their statements. I would be very depressed if someone kept bringing up my case and made me famous on the internet by telling everyone how ugly my nose is.

Mia, could you come here and update us with how your nose looks now please?

  3. I did not mean to be rude but this review reminds me of what happened with me before. I went to a clinic based on a raving review on the internet and GOT BOTCHED. The person kept telling how brilliant the doctor was, how amazing the clinic was etc. but when people asked her for a B&A photo, she kept telling exactly the same as the OP here that she was not comfortable sharing photos and that she was still swollen and it was not the final result yet… I know I was dumb for trusting an online review, which literally ruined my face but I had never had any PS before so I was so naïve. I’ve learned it the very hard way now that never ever trust any reviews on the internet without seeing real B&A photos. Sometimes, reviews like this (which people even thank them for writing) can do more harm than good.

I later found out that some people use writing reviews on social media as a means to get discounts from the clinics, so they are doing it for their benefits, not for helping you. I am not saying that the OP is the same but I find her review very dodgy in that she answered all the questions but then when someone asked her about the price, she ignored it. And then when people asked her for B&A photos (even through PM only), she said she was not comfortable sharing, which made me very sceptical of her motivation behind her posts.

I am just saying what I am thinking from my own experience. I am not trying to accuse anyone of anything so please stop replying to my posts because I am not going to respond anymore.

Jamie82, are you talking about this doctor Lee? He looks very young, like early 40s - I cannot believe he is 61. Is there any confusing? Nobody starts opening a new clinic when they are about to retire.

  5. Thank you very much for the review. I really enjoy reading your posts - it's like reading a story! Your eyes looks amazing and very natural now but I can see that they were very swollen and uneven during recovery. Did the unevenness freak you out at all as I would be very worried if I saw my eyes like that.

I have seen so many dolly eyes that look very ugly and unnatural to me but the people who had them done are very satisfied. I just really don't understand why they would want that kind of eyes that anyone can tell they are fake. I am glad that you know what you want and that you found a no nonsense doctor who has a good aesthetic.

  6. All those clinics produce very natural results and as she said she needs a lot done including alars, they don't seem to be right for her.

@KPSA, I wonder what is your role on here? I've noticed that you are constantly on here to give advices, most of which are not really helpful. If you try to use this as a way to get people to buy your report then forget about that. Most information you know is only from this forum and if you can do research, others can too. Nobody would spend money to buy something they can easily do for themselves.

  7. I had exactly the same problem before and freaked out for a while but it did go away after a month or so. I usually go the same doctor for botox injections but that time, I decided to try a different one who is closer to where I live and his price is a bit cheaper. I was so excited to see that my jaw seemed to get smaller compared to the previous times but then I noticed that when I chew, the muscles on my upper jaw popped out and it was really obvious. I was so stressed out but he did not know why it was like that. Fortunately, everything was back to normal after some time. I think it's because they injected botox into the wrong areas? When I go back to my regular injector, I don't have that problem anymore.

  8. Hi turnerdhr,
Hope that you have found the right clinic for you and good luck with your surgery. Please keep us posted when you are done

  9. I've checked with several clinics and they told me that most Korean clinics are only closed on Christmas day (25/12) and New Year Day (01/01). This is not a long holiday period in Korea like in the Western countries so everything should be pretty normal.

  10. I read some old posts and people were raving about Dr. Jung of Shimmian. Then after that a lot of people went to him and there were some bad reviews, then the clinic was blacklisted lol. It sounds like a pattern for all clinics lol. Also, it seems when a clinic becomes popular and well established, they don't treat patients as well anymore.
