  1. Thanks for sharing your experience! I feel like they do address a lot of the same concerns, I just want to make sure it doesn't turn into a very fake looking nose ya know? A lot of these Koreans have strange Barbie looking noses and that's not the look I'm going for. But maybe it's different because I won't be getting fillers or cartilage since my nose is already high? And another concern I have is that I do have a bulbous tip but I also don't want a completely pointy nose either, I basically just want a smaller version or softer version of my nose now if that makes sense. I don't even know if that's possible but can they control the degree of which they correct the bulbous tip?
Either way, your input has definitely has swayed me even more to doing my rhinoplasty in South Korea, if all works out, I may even go this summer!

  2. Wow your results are stunning!! Do you think that acculift is enough to get rid of this chubby jaw area that I have that is making my jaw look so big? Don't mind that I already have huge cheekbones but at least it might look better if it was just a smooth line. I am prettt sure it's far because I have a slight double chin but yeah. Please give me your advice, I would love a jaw like yours!!

  3. Thank you so much for replying! ^~^ Yeah I don't mind the height either, I just want it to be smooth ya know? Or at least straight, because the bump makes it looks well bumpy especially from certain angles. I also have a bulbous tip but I don't want to get a pointy tip like Koreans tend to go for, I kinda just want a flatter or less prominent tip if that makes sense. What did your tip refinement consist of? Also do you mind telling me where you got yours done? I'm considering GnG as I said earlier but I didn't see much western noses on there but they seem to have consistent results!

  4. D: yes that is too expensive! I want to stay under $7000, hopefully around 5 or 6. I've been hearing about GnG too and I'm also considering other surgeries there too so that's my #1 choice right now!

There is one rhinoplasty doctor Michael Elam who lives in Cali and he has a special deal for everything at $7000, so everything entails all the different aspects you want to fix, and he's also highly rated on Real Self. I would only consider a nose job in South Korea if they can produce similar results for at least $1500 cheaper !

  5. Hey everybody!
So as of right now I am for certain that I will get rhinoplasty done, but the only problem is I don't know if I should get it done in America or Korea. I was wondering if anybody had any information about any places in Korea that know how to work with western noses and how much the price goes for?

Below I have attached some photos of my nose for reference. Please don't tell me I don't need surgery, the pictures look a lot more flattering than in real life for some reason. The areas that I want to deal with are a slight hump (which is barely visible in the photograph for some reason), alar base reduction, and something about my bulbous/projecting tip. I basically want a more feminine, and smaller version of my nose now. Sorry about the obnoxious emojis btw!!

  6. Hey no problem! The more the merrier ^~^ but yeah,I plan on living in South Korea so studying abroad there kills two birds with one stone! The reason I want to do my surgery while I am there is because I don't have to fly back and forth for check ups and stuff, and if I plan to get fat graft, then I can get additional redeposition later on without worrying. It also improves my language and understanding of the culture, like you said, which will help when I'm teaching there! ☺️ I am so excited, just worried about if I will have enough money ;-;

  7. Hey no problem! I get how you feel, I can't decide whether I should do my nose or the rest of my face first I just feel like my big face and big nose don't balance well with my small lips and small eyes. I'm considering an American rhinoplasty doctor Michael Elam because he's pretty reputable •~• but it'll probably be around $7000 so I'm looking for some Korean surgeons that could do something similar.

I'm planning on studying abroad in Korea in a year or two so I have only like 1.5 years to save up ;-; I'm also trying to lose weight to see how that changes my face because my problem is in my chubby lower cheek/jaw area.

By the way, we celebrated our 1year anniversary not too long ago It's hard being long distance but it's worth it!

  8. Hey @Lonekitty the way we think and see ourselves is so similar. I even met someone online and was considering waiting two years to meet him so that I could get a whole bunch of plastic surgery before! Eventually, I decided that I would rather see him as soon as possible and see if he would accept me exactly as I am and he did ☺️ If he truly loves you, he will think you're beautiful no matter what, and he already has a general sense of what you look like since you've video called him. But I get it, I still wanna do surgery too because it's not for other people, it's for myself. I can't stand the pictures that people take of me, I sometimes get depressed for a whole day thinking "Is that what I actually look like?" I can look at my face and identify every single problem on it and how it can be fixed. I wish this was something more motivational telling you not to do surgery because eventually something will change in you, and I think you're gorgeous, but it'd be hypocritical of me.

As of right now I am looking into more non invasive surgery to deal with my weirdly shaped face. Although unnaturally have a large jaw, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so chubby, so I'm considering an acculift and maybe slight lipo on the jaw and chin area.

As for my cheeks, I also have wide flat looking cheeks although they become prominent when I smile so I've been considering getting some sort of hair transplant around my cheek area to try to achieve a thinner looking face. Hair can really do so much for framing the face!

My forehead is flat and my eyes are super dark and sunken so I'm considering some fat transplant to those areas to make me look younger and more awake! I also have problems with my nasolabia folds but I haven't figured out what I want to do with them just yet, maybe some fillers or transplant?

And the last problem for me is my nose as well. This is the only invasive surgery that I know I want to do as I have an extremely bulbous nose with wide nostrils and a hump. I plan on doing this surgery in america tho unless I can find a surgeon in Korea who will do it for much cheaper with similar results!

Anyways, I feel like we should talk as we seem to be in very similar situations!

  9. Well my top row of teeth go over my bottom so if anything I have an overbite. I will definitely visit a clinic and see what they recommend, whether that just be Botox or a surgery. Thanks for giving me some advice, and I do plan on removing wisdom teeth as I have a rather small mouth even though my jaw is quite large. I feel like the picture is also quite misleading and that's why everyone was being nice, but I do appreciate for them as it made me feel like I didn't need to do it right now.

  10. @weibandy @jamie82 @lorihmatthews @xShoppingAddict @luv2run41
Thank you all so much for being so kind to me, it really means a lot. I wasn't expecting people telling me not to change anything as this is a forum for plastic surgery I will take your considerations and maybe start off with something more temporary! I am not getting surgery any time soon as I would still need to save up, so there is still time for my face to mature. If after these years, I am still unhappy then I will consider seriously going through with changes or maybe I will be happy with myself Again thank you, maybe my face is not as horrible as I believe hahah

  11. Awh I am sorry to hear about your results I hope you regain feeling there...I am also worried about the safety it...especially after spending so much money. I am going to work really hard to save up money for this and I want to come out of it feeling content with myself. Thank you for your compliments though I might just remove part of my buccal fat pat not the whole thing! Maybe that will get rid of my puffy jaw!

  12. Yes as much as I don't like how big it makes my face, it's one of my only unique features! Yeah I only want to focus on my jaw area, especially in photos, it's the only thing that looks unattractive Thank you for your advice!! I really appreciate it

  13. I also feel like Botox would be good at reducing the width of my jaw but it's so temporary and I just do not have that money. I am looking for a more semi permanent solution. The chin reduction surgery should help with U shape of my face, my chin is sort of pointy already but it's very long and the sides are pretty wide. I want to achieve a heart shaped face. Also in regards to my cheekbones, I don't want to dramatically reduce it but I've only seen dramatic results so I'm not sure about that.

Hello! So this is my face! I have an extremely large face that is both really round, square and masculine. I am at a complete loss as to the surgeries that I should get. My main focus is on my chin area, it is extremely round and large and my side jaws are extremely fat. At the same time, i looo very old and I have already started to develop marionnete lines. I am considering a sliding genioplasty, lipsosuction and fat graft, and maybe a face lift even though I am 19. I am worried about doing a jaw surgery or complete V-like because I don't want to cause sagging as I already look very old. Please help!!
Here is a profile of my face. I don't mind having such a pronounced jaw, I am more concerned with how I appear from the front. Please give me any advice on what I should do. I have already gotten a good idea but would like more info on sliding genioplasty and ways to make my chin more slim while keeping the rest of my face looking young.

  15. Yeah I meant lipolysis! I achieve the look I want by lifting up my jaw and cheek area but I am hoping that removing fat will give an overall thinner appearance. But maybe acculift will work for now? Along with a sliding genioplasty/chin reduction (what I mentioned earlier as a mini v-line) I think I should be able to achieve the look I want. I am just worried about further sagging or hallowness. Anyways, that is my plan for now. Just trying o find a clinic and surgeon that really understands facial symmetry and balance!

  16. Glad to know I'm not alone heheh and yeah, even though I have a strong jaw, I didn't think home reconstruction was the answer. Maybe electrolysis really would be a good option? Maybe we can remove some of the fat and that would help? I've also thought the Botox would help but it's so temporary and again, I am young and don't have that kind of money ;-; hopefully someone out there has the answer for us! I'm worried about a facelift because if my face starts sagging again, I will need to keep getting it and I'll start to look like the cat lady...I'm just worried. Let's hope someone on here has found our solution. Right now, I'm think removing some fat would be our best option...

  17. Here's a picture of me! What do you recommend? My skin is still pretty tight as I am young so I don't think I really need a facelift, but I have this sort of pitbull look. So maybe a thread or these laser lifts might be a better fit for me? I'm just not sure what surgery I should be doing in order to create a slim and more defined jaw and chin line.

  18. Hey! I love your results so much although I'm not considering rhinoplasty myself, I just think it goes to show the amazing work that's being done at GnG. I was wondering tho, how were the prices compared to other clinics? Don't worry I'm not asking you to give me exact numbers, I was just wondering if it's more on the expensive side or is it more fair? Thank you!
