  1. Thank you so much for posting this! Very helpful.

  2. Oh yeah definitely, same here on the many procedures. Doing too many at once won't look very natural anyways. It's best to do one to two surgeries at a time and then wait at least six months before doing another one.

I didn't know that could happen after hair transplant, interesting. I'll still look into it myself and look at the other problems that come with it. Thank you for telling me this!

  3. Some other forumers and I have broad cheeks from the sides like you do. I found something from @Hoeeekage that could possibly work without having to shave anything down:

I hope this helps you a bit.

  4. I completely agree with this too. I'm also trying to remove some things as well. Any idea how to do it? I've made a report asking the mods to do it but it seems that I have no luck.

  5. That's what I was thinking too.
Lonekitty, you should go onto other threads and ask questions. Otherwise you're not helping yourself at all.

  6. Dr. Hong and Dr. Seong are not board certified. They're ENT doctors. Personally me, but I wouldn't put my nose in their hands if I were you. This thread is basically full of hype and promoted reviews on them. It's really disappointing as I also liked the results that were on their website but if you try contacting these forumers (@mia1992 and @pacd) they'll give you their real experiences with them.

  7. Yes, doctors must be board certified. Otherwise you're gambling with how things will turn out in the end.

  8. Miss Orange had a bad experience from them, they basically over priced her and also she's been talking to people that have had problems from them as well. I'd also recommend looking into this thread here with a recent experience from someone who's been around for a while: # It's really disappointing but at least we now know this before we become victims to them as well.

When I find more information on these clinics I'll PM you.

  9. Yeah, that's what I'm beginning to wonder again. I had GNG on my list but recently I've heard terrible things about them. I saw Miss Orange say something about Dr Park at Baum, Dr Paik at PS101 and Dr Lee at the View. So I'm going to go ahead and look into those clinics for now.

  10. Okay, I'm not going to point fingers, but insulting and attacking isn't allowed (as I've been told by a moderator).

I've been called out myself for attacking this one forumer on one of these threads for just spreading some truth (even though I had wished that they had also listed the positives of the surgery that they had no success with- which is why I got mad at them).

As much as I sometimes want to tell people to get lost or tell them they're "wrong", I cannot do that.

This forum is full of different opinions (and even facts, of course). You shouldn't take everything seriously on here as you don't know who's telling the truth or not.

However, insulting people and telling them that their input is terrible will only get you banned... I've yet to see a mod come onto this thread and just list out the rules again and tell people to get back onto the topic.

  11. "Being less than attractive is one thing, but being deformed is another."

You say that you try not to be negative but I think you don't realize how bad this is. You've got to stop being sensitive to the terrible things of what others think of you. They're probably jealous and the guys that think negatively of you are only trying to hide their true feelings about you. I've experienced the same thing.

Stand up for yourself dude. You're greater than this, and like I said earlier, you're way better off than most people. Please.

By the way, this is college. You'll meet way better people in the real world afterwards that think differently to those who haven't matured enough yet. I'm not picking on your friends, I'm talking about the people there in general.

  12. I'm curious as to what bad things you've read about View, because I'm planning to go to consult them for facial contouring after I graduate from college.

I've seen only one negative review due to a rhinoplasty surgeon (who is no longer there), messing up this one person's nose that used to work there as well. What else have you found?

  13. That possibly means that your underbite could be pretty severe, I can kinda tell by looking at the photo. Just like how I could tell how severe my sister's overbite was before she had braces. Maybe you can stop by an orthodontist and have them check it out and see what they think.

Braces are effing painful according to my sister and some of my acquaintances. It won't be fun the first few months. And, if you don't continue to use the bands as often as you're supposed to, the orthodontists will tighten the braces themselves (which will make the pain worse). BUT- it's much better than going through the painful two jaw surgery, in all sorts of ways. Plus they require you to have braces anyway (from what I've found). Trust me.

If you're holding your jaw in that position self consciously, braces will help train you to hold your jaw the correct way. I'm guessing that the pain is because you're so used to having the underbite that changing it in any other way will cause you pain. I too get some jaw pain having an overbite and I plan to get liners to fix the issue.

Please don't get anxiety, I assure you that you'll be feeling amazing in the end when your skin gets 100% better. Not to mention if you decide to get liners or braces you'll have significant improvements, and you won't feel any pain anymore when it gets in the correct position (double whammy there). You won't need anything else to change.

What kind of lotion do you use? Was it prescribed by the dermatologist?

Also, it seems as if maybe the friend of yours playing therapist could help you improve your confidence. Not only is it helpful but it's also entertaining to you (compared to the other therapists you've been to). If you can't go to a professional then maybe he can help you out a bit when he's willing to. I think you'll be able to see the beautiful traits that you have in no time.

  14. Okay, girl you need to stop this. I'm actually getting jealous here. I can see why you get attention from guys, it's because you have such beautiful structure! Heck, even a guy up here on this comment section said that he thinks you look beautiful (didn't you see it?). In fact, you're better off than most of the other people who seek to get plastic surgery (not trying to offend anyone, I'm in this boat too). None of us are talking bs here, don't do anything too invasive!

The only reason why I considered giving you advice at the beginning of the thread was to be helpful and hope for the best for you. Now as time has gone by and I'm seeing more and more negativity, I think I'm not being helpful but instead pushing you to think more horrible thoughts about yourself. I feel really terrible. I don't think that this type of behavior in this thread will improve your flaws- skin for example.

I can understand the issue with your skin. I'm pretty sure a consultation with a dermatologist will help lead you to better skin in no time. That's a good start.

The only thing that I can suggest right now that will replace the thoughts of double jaw surgery is braces or liners. That will help you significantly improve that underbite into a bite where only one-half of the bottom teeth are covered (which is the average bite/smile).

And yes, I know I said not to do anything too serious to your face. But I hate leaving people's questions unanswered. You asked how much the structural fat grafting cost? There's barely any difference in cost for the techniques. The average is around $5,350 for fat grafting, so I'd back away from that right now.

Just please, please stop with this negative attitude! If therapy isn't helpful then I don't know what else is, but moping around here isn't going to make things better either.

Trust me, you'll be better off if you think with a positive mindset.
Please take our comments into consideration.

  15. Yep, that was me. At the beginning of the thread I couldn't see the pictures until a couple days later. They'll go away and then comeback, I'm not sure why?

Have you tried getting on your computer if you have one? What browser do you use?

  16. That's actually quite normal for any clinic to make you wait seven days to get the stitches out. It's part of the healing process.

Keep in mind you're only consulting online and in person you'll probably be able to negotiate with them. If you tell both clinics your situation in person they could come to an understanding.

I'm not too sure about the flight issue but I personally would put in the $120. I think Banobagi might pull that one on you too, even if they haven't said anything about it, just saying.

  17. The doctor recommended gentle hand soap, I don't directly use it on my face either haha (I use very little), so everything is okay. The dryness has actually subsided a bit due to the weather change so my skin looks a little more oily than dry right now.

It depends on how the doctor layers the fat in the area. If he does structural fat grafting, it'll last longer because the new blood vessels have time to grow into the fat graft. You can read into it here, I took a screenshot of what this one doctor said on realself: https://ibb.co/d0ZybS
Fat grafts do last a longtime if done correctly. However, sometimes the fat will be burned away within the first few months and so you might have to go back to the doctor for another touchup, nothing too much though.

In all honesty, I ate junk food and still do sometimes eat it here and there. As long as you're balancing it out with other things like exercising and healthier foods (also drinking plenty of water), you should be fine.
