Ahh! Yup that's right I think they all agree that I don't have severe ptosis anymore. I wish they would have explained more about how to improve my eyeball/lashes problem though. None of them suggested forehead lift or something else. I like really big bright eyes that show a lot of the iris.. like Melodee Morita.
I actually had incisional+ptosis correction the first time And now the doctors seem in favour non-incisional to just tighten the same crease. A random consultant to be however, that if I did it incisional the first time, I have to do incisional again.
I was shocked that my incisional crease could loosen over the years. I think the chance of it happening is like 2%? According to the doctors, my left crease will continue to loosen and become more faint in the future
I had incisional double eyelid + ptosis correction 6 years ago and while I love my eyes, I still feel like I have ptosis. Only about 60% of my eyeball is shown when relaxed and I’m not sure if it’s due to ptosis or just a hooded lid (my eyes become inner double eyelid when i open them wide). I also cant wear mascara still because my eyelashes are pointing downwards
I recently consulted with the eye surgeon at GNG, Dr Seo at MVP and Dr Park at Designer where I originally got my eyes done! All 3 surgeons said the same thing - that my left double eyelid is loosening. Who would have thought that incisional eyelids can loosen
GNG - didnt really get good vibes from the doc. Didnt really think I had ptosis. Suggested non incisional + non incisional ptosis correction.
Designer - doesnt think i need ptosis correction again - suggested non incisional to deepen the crease.
I think I will consult a few more just to get more opinions. I’m thinking Ruby, Shinseung and Yonsei First.
Recently I was told by someone that if I had incisional double eyelid the first time, I need to get incisional double eyelid again and I cannot do non-incisional. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, are lashes that point down a ptosis problem or can it be fixed by deepening the crease? :O
Ah I see! Thanks! So the technique of working on the muscle is fundamentally different. From this it seems like incisional method is more invasive and more permanent.
hey! I was wondering if anyone is familiar with non-incisional ptosis correction and how it compares to regular ptosis correction? the only detailed explanation of the technique I could find is from this webpage: http://www.topps.co.kr/eng/eye/deye_corr.php
is it simply a technique that cuts less of the eyelid skin? or is there a difference in the way the levator muscle is pulled up too?
hi!! for those who paid your clinics by credit card, when you got your 7% tax refund at the airport, did they refund it to your card? or is cash refund the only option?
GNG has whatsapp and LINE too. Try all avenues to reach them! Tell them that if they don't reply you would warn everyone online and in group chats, and let everyone in the community know about the incident They won't risk their reputation.
Otherwise, try to get a Korean friend to call and speak to them
I'm going to Fresh for facial lipo soon. I only know one other local clinic that specialises in this procedure - I recommended a friend to get it done there and she loved her results.
I'm kinda in two minds about this procedure. To be honest, all my friends think I'm crazy for going for this procedure since I have little double chin and I have a sharp jawline from the side view. But I can see my lower cheek sagging from the front when I don't smile. I've wanted to do this for years. Anyone has a similar issue?
It depends on the clinic, really. GNG is quite slow to respond on kakao, might take a couple of days. Some clinics are really fast though. Also some have abandoned their kakao accounts and don't respond there.
@KCouture may i ask how did you sleep after your bbl? haha i've never tried sleeping on my front (neck would hurt too much) so i can't imagine how i'd sleep after
Hey babe, hope you're having a good recovery! Did you end up doing the forehead lift?
I had incisional, epi, and ptosis correction done almost 6 years ago and while I like my results, I still feel they are droopy and cover quite a lot of my eyeball. I want to fix my ptosis again but I'm thinking if forehead lift is what I need instead :/
Hi there! Realised that theres not many dermis augmentation experiences here in this forum. I'm interested in dermis as an alternative to rib/silicone rhino and if anyone could share their experiences it would be really helpful. My main questions are:
1. How much of the dermal fat absorbed over what period of time? Is there permanence of some dermal fat?
2. How is the scar like at the cocyx area? How much did it fade away? (I go to the beach sometimes so this is important to me haha)
Feel free to chip in the discussion if you're interested too!
hi all, sorry for the late reply! i'm unable to keep up with this thread. if you'd like to be added into the group, please send me a private message and i will send you the link to join. cheers.
oh wow, how come you're still using it? does the booty buddy fit in airplane seats? I saw that it only comes in one size so i was wondering if it could fit my petite asian frame
