  1. I've consulted with uvom via kakao and have booked a consult with them, along with some other clinics. The consultant for uvom said my rhino consult will be with Dr Kang and FC is with Dr Lee
I know a person who had a great experience / result with Dr Kang and the consultant sent me some pics of his rhino work already.. but I just want to know if anyone else has done rhino with him ? Most of the people I've talked to have had Dr Lee so yeah don't know much about Dr Kang. I've heard he does eyes, mostly.
    Thanks, everyone

  2. I hope everything goes well for you  I looked into banobagi at the start, but I've seen mixed reviews. I suppose all clinics will have mixed reviews though haha

  3. I'm torn between what I should do. I know it's best to have a F2F consult first, but I'm worried that I won't get a slot for my surgery
I plan to go around early to mid May this year. You guys that have had surgery in korea, have you been able to get a slot for surgery within the next couple of days without paying a deposit before you came to korea???
    Thanks everyone. Input is appreciated

  4. Hi guys
I'm looking at getting under eye fillers (for my tear troughs / dark circles. Not aegyo sal fillers) and lip fillers. I like the way that they do lip fillers in Korea. I've heard of Me and Tox n fill, but I'm wondering if anyone knows any other places?
There are so many that I can't narrow it down. If you know any places, feel free to let me know here and link if you can please  it's fine if their website or social media is only in Korean

  5. 2nd of March, 2019.
Hi guys ! Just want to start off by saying that I haven't done my surgery yet! Sorry. I'm making this thread so that I can document my experience all the way from Kakao consultations to when the cast comes off.
Now I know this thread is for Asian plastic surgery, but I'm getting it done in Asia, so I think it will fit here. I'm thinking of doing my surgery in the next three months, so I'm really trying to narrow it down now and decide on a clinic. Also trying to save money like crazy haha T_T
Here's a little bit of background info:

Age: Early 20s (I've been working my butt off for this lol)
Surgeries desired: rhinoplasty (including osteotomy and alarplasty), Facial contouring or V Line (mandible and chin), and fillers or fat transfer (under eye hollows)
Face shape: long chin, square mandible (oblong face shape)
Nose shape: very high bridge, small bridge hump, wide nostrils, fat nose tip (kind of boxy too)
"Why are you going to Korea for surgery if you're white??"
    1. I like the aesthetics, the dolly look.
    2. V Line surgery isn't a thing in my country, and I'd rather get my surgeries done at the same time. I don't know if I could go through multiple times.
    3. Even with foreigner pricing, it's still decently cheap compared to how much plastic surgery is in my country. I feel the the cost of plastic surgery is far too expensive in my country considering I'm not even impressed by the results. No offence to the docs. (I'm not American btw). I'm not looking for a dirt cheap clinic, but a clinic that I feel is reasonably priced for the quality of the work
"When are you planning on doing your PS?" May 2019

I hope that people will find this journal helpful! Especially if you're Caucasian like me and thinking of plastic surgery in Korea. I want to start from the beginning to sort of "prove" that I'm just a regular gal, not affiliated with a clinic and give an honest account and review of my experience when I finally do get my surgery. I'd also like to post B/A photos with a lot of angles too. I may or may not allow the clinic to use my photos. I'm still deciding on that, but if I do, I'll paste link to the posts I'm in :P

First of all I'm going to post about how my Kakao consultations went. I've still got a few places I haven't contacted yet. I'd rather not post exact prices, but I'll mention if I thought the quotes were low, moderate, pricey or insane.

  6. Yeah, you are right. It does sound pretty brutal, but I can't take more than three weeks off work at once. I'd probably have to do them a week apart if I chose that option, sigh

  7. Hi I've been lurking here for quite some time now.
I'm not really sure how to phrase this, but I was wondering if it's possible to get one procedure done at one clinic, and then get something else done at another clinic.. in the same week. It sounds ridiculous, I know
but I want to know if anyone has actually done that. I want to do rhinoplasty (osteotomy) at one clinic and FC at another. Just because one clinic only does FC. But I have limited time I can spend in Korea.
If this is completely insane, please let me know.
I swear I've heard of people doing this though.I saw a youtube video about a surgery experience in Korea where she did her v-line first and then did rhino after a couple days or something ?
What are your thoughts and experiences?

  8. I think that's how Korean people talk lol. I mean, those who serve customers. In Korea, they speak very formally to customers in my experience. I think that's just how the customer service is there. I wouldn't worry about it

  9. Hi guys! I've been lurking here for a while, but first time poster.
I'm a western female. I have a big nose, basically.

I want to get this done
Rhinoplasty: small hump on my nose filed down, bulbous and long nose tip reduced and alarplasty. I have a long AND wide nose. I feel like my nose is going to be expensive because it's so ugly and big lol :/
Facial contouring: v line? I have a bit of a square jaw (not extreme, just slight) but also a pretty long chin. I want a shorter and narrower chin and my the sides of my jaw to be shaved down too

Anyone got something similar done or asked for quotes from GNG? I'm going to Kakao talk GNG tomorrow, but I just thought i'd ask.
It's not my first time in korea, but it'd be my first time doing plastic surgery. I'm not going through docfinder or anything. I'm expecting 7 million won for nose and 9 million won for V line. Do you get any discount for posting about your experience online? Because I wanted to share my experience
