  1. Glad to see kcouture active again. You are a wealth of info.

Kyo, are you US-based or do you just want to have it done in the US ?
Was it a car accident ? If yes, then there is a 2 year statue of limitations to sue for medical expenses.

CT scan cost : you can just google 'face ct scan cost'. Cost varies greatly by facility but since there is now transparency, you can call and shop around and mention you are paying cash .
You referring doctor/primary care may also know the best facility, price-wise .

  2. Hmmm, maybe do the nose/chin first then try to heal for a month. Then do the hair transplant. Also, go to a HT specialist in women transplant. There are 3 well-known clinics.
I don't know of a clinic who specialize in both hair and nose but if you find one, and you plan to do in 1 sitting, you will have to do the hair transplant first since you will be face down for harvesting donor hair from the back of head. Pm me a headshot.

  3. My officemate had a full body MRI in Taiwan for $1000 but that was like 7yrs ago. That maybe an way to see where them silicone travelled.

Didn't you mention one of your implants burst?

If silicone travels then the body will encapsulate them, for sure, them being foreign material.
So there could be lumps/cysts that can be extracted later. Ok, that sounded too simplistic.

Also, I want to point out that even though I provided a link to Fat transfer to Breast, there are way too may risks if not done correctly. Like fat embolism, fat necrosis and lumps.

  4. Dumb question, will explant also get rid of those floating silicones? Or will you eventually flush it out?
Just saw this explant on youtube on a normal implant (yikes)

  5. The 1st one, she did not even look anywhere near 60 in her before pic at 70. She must have had one prior.
That neck lift is amazing. Turkey necks - gone.
Have you narrowed down your search for your own FL? And what is this deepplane (vs smas)?

  6. Is this capsular contracture (photo from realself, search 56yo with 25yo implants)

Missorange, you had like 3-4 swaps of implants, did they all have these tissues surrounding each time?

  7. Actually, I'm not planning any BA but that RS fat transfer review from Asian 23yo nanana93 (warning, really graphic photos) for post-op 2+ years is really good. I kinda want her new natural boobies, lol. There's also one very skinny asian girl patient who did well. I know it could be pricey at 10K but it's 2 procedures in 1. You get lipo and a yours forever boobs, no swapping needed.
I also read this fg to breast is common proc after mastectomy.

I think I am having a midlife crisis - feeling ugly, needing to spend big $$$ for myself coz I am worth it, lol.

@MissOrange, I'm assuming you have to explant first then heal for sometime (and not explant, lipo and shove the fats in 1 go, 3 procs in 1, lol).

@Fortunecat, hahaha or they all could go to our face.

  8. There you go again - planning to put foreign substance into your body.

Regarding fg to breasts, hope to find post 1-2yr patients from Fresh. Or if there are serious complications other than reabsorption, like lumps. That will determine if his technique is really good.
I heard some good realself reviews on dr bednar . Girls from all over fly to NC but there's only a few post 1-2yr reviews.

  9. Yup.
    But #YODO

@SheOnlyLooks25 Does this newer mammogram not squeeze the breast? I had a mammo this year and can't imagine those with implants not exploding when 2 flat irons squeezed mine to flatten it. Sooo painful.

Is tip plasty less dangerous and less involved. Like, I'd heard people die from rhinoplasty.

  10. Dang. I haven't had ps yet you described my symptoms. I think it is part of aging.
When you said you are not happy, is it because of the nose/rib result or the price? I hope the nose is fine.

@SheOnlyLooks25 Wow I read somewhere you have like a ~35yo silicone nose and now 40yo silicone breasts. Yours are really well made! I'm assuming both doctors now retired (if still alive, lol) but where did you have it done?

  11. Errhm, read up. I did not say FL will fix the naso 100%.

I beg to differ on injecting something while the tissues are healing. I would give mine a chance to heal itself before injecting a foreign substance. I don't even know how my skin will react to it on normal circumstances, much more if it is damaged. But , that's just my opinion.

  12. I love how real you are. And how you set your expectations. I once had a consult as well and was told the naso folds and jowls will be improved but not 100% (more like 80%). And that there is no set date on long it will last. Facelift DOES NOT STOP the ageing process ! Longevity of it will depend on what your lifestyle is : late nights, alcohol, smoking, stress, sun-worshipping, daily skin care, diet, etc, etc.
I wish you a smooth and scar-free recovery. I will be following your thread.
Even though I haven't had ps yet, my consultation(since I paid for it) included tips on scar treatment. PM if interested.

  13. It looks like the doc also gave you a neck lift based on the stitching. Your neck area looks totally rejuvenated.

  14. Great shot and those are meticulous stitching. I did not know yours would extend to the nape area, thought they end just behind the ears. I am not probably heal as fast as you as I am close to 50.
You did great deciding on Asps. And correct about MVP not known for smas. An acquaintance of a famous pf'er who did mvp had her smas stitching unravel and open up. Plus, someone had cardiac arrest there for rhino last month and died .

  15. Great review @jsorchid. And fast recovery. May I ask how you are ? Also, will you be able to post a pic of just the ear area where scar/incisions are.

  16. Don’t despair. You are young and the world lies ahead. Everyone ages, faces will sag (mine does). It’s great that insurance will cover it.
I don’t think cranio doctors will discriminate between accident/cancer and revision. If you are worried about the aesthetics of cranio docs then maybe do it in 2 steps: have the bones fixed in us then later do a lift somewhere else.

  17. It's real news but still under investigation.
That newly created account 1postwond3r denied the news but since she/he got banned , her/his post got deleted that was being referred to by jfanthom. You can still see the post quoted by doubledoubles.

I hope MVP issues some kind of official statement.

  18. It is sad for any loss of life especially an untimely one.
1postwond3r must be one of the promoters paid to squash any bad news.
By the way, that naver's bad grammar is google translate's fault. But for those who can understand Korean, it's being discussed in naver .

The original thread was actually very useful as other pfers in the medical field contributed on how to check clinics, anesthesia doc and if the clinic is equipped enough for worst case scenario.

From the original thread and based on memory, it said the patient suffered cardiac arrest and the anesthesia doc asked the surgery to stop. He then administered an 1-hand cpr while one of the nurses laughed and the other fixed her hair. It took more than an hour before 911 arrived and the patient was transported to a hospital.
There was no defibrillator in the clinic.

  19. Wondering what happened to the original post pertaining to last week's death at MVP Clinic :
    https://m.news.naver.com/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=102&oid=437&aid=0000191331

Since this naver link may also go away, here is the gist:

20-year-old college student in a plastic surgeon in Apgujong-dong, Seoul, died of a brain surgery and was finally killed. This student dropped his blood pressure under anesthesia, and his heart stopped. How did the paramedics do the first thing they did in the operating room CCTV ? The bereaved families saw the medical staff sued the police.

    It is a reporter.

    [Reporter] An

anesthesiologist anesthetizes a 26-year-old aunt who is on the operating table.

Suddenly, when his blood pressure drops, he nurses his neck and then his nose runs on his nose as scheduled.

But over a dozen minutes, the anesthesiologist asks the doctors to stop the operation and conduct CPR.

Lee, who is in a state of brain death, died on the last day.

The bereaved family members complained to the police that the medical staff did not take proper first aid measures.

[Bereaved family: Doctors with nose surgery stand with arms folded, anesthesiologist with one hand ... The nurses just laugh among themselves. The

hospital said it was difficult for the medical staff to determine if the police were investigating and whether emergency measures were appropriate at the time.

At that time, he said that he had no choice but to watch because his anesthesiologist decided to judge the patient's condition.

The anesthesiologist said, "First aid is for all medical staff to participate and it is not right to take responsibility for yourself."

He said he was checking the facts about the nursing assistants laughing during first aid.

The police secured the operating room CCTV and journals, and called medical staff to investigate whether the first aid was appropriate.

  20. OMG I just saw this. Poor lad and his family.
I am amazed at the flow of events. 911 or 119 took too long to arrive or was not called right away. I guess with the 1100 ps clinics relying on them for emergencies like this , they must be swamped.
The family being local, they were able to secure a lawyer within 24 hours. But still I am amazed how MVP is already declared innocent roughly after 48 hours. The autopsy and/or investigation are too quick like in the movies. I mean, you can’t ecg the dead patient for abnormalities so their pathology/forensic lab can turn around faster for a compete autopsy so fast. Cardiac arrest on young patients need not just a regular autopsy but a detailed neuropathological and cardio with toxicology autopsy.

So is it like “business as usual” for them? I mean, you gotta question the characters of these caregivers who you hand your life to. They may behave more professional from now on (Like act harried in front of cctv) but really the true characters of people show in knee-jerk/life threatening events.

I hate to imagine this happening to any foreigner like me, unaccompanied with love ones thousands of miles away. I’d probably just be a statistic.

  21. Jacque1969, happy for you. I am also interested in having this at opera. Can I dm you some questions?
