  1. I like it but it's still sensitive to the touch even after one month. I think gortex and silicone costs the same amount of money for me.

  2. I also went to View for rhinoplasty, but under Dr. Lee! I'm glad you mentioned being super dehydrated, because after my surgery I felt the worst dry feeling in my mouth ever! I think I drank eleven of those little cups and was still dehydrated, and then I'd wake up and feel that dryness in my throat again. Since I got breast augmentation as well I got an overnight stay, but I can't imagine how it would feel to have to leave early.
My nose also kept bleeding for around three days... I think I used up all the paper towels I had in my apartment. The cotton in my nose was so difficult to deal with because I could only breathe through my mouth, so taking the pills was so difficult for me.
My consultant was Jessica and she was actually so nice to me, so it makes me sad that she was so different this time around. I kept badgering her with questions about herself and she actually was very open about it, and her English was so good that translating with any doctor was no issue at all. I think she's so pretty too haha I wish I looked like her. Maybe you guys just got off on the wrong foot?
I don't know where you're staying, but I stayed at an airBNB and it helped so much, because I got to cook food for myself. Eating out everyday gets super boring and it's really difficult when the menu is in Korean and Google translate doesn't even work.
Also LOL at Laura Lee randomly attacking you in the comments section xD I love your response.

  3. "Fake results on websites and TV- If you look carefully at the websites there is a huge difference between the before photo and the after one."
Yeah, I do think that almost all the plastic surgery websites alter the before and after pictures. At least, for the promotional ones, the before picture is of a person without makeup, and the after picture is of a person with loads of makeup on. It is quite deceptive to me... with some editing and makeup it's really hard to tell the actual physical changes.
"As you were told it was only sedative you were expected to go back to your appartment by yourself after the procedure but with that anesthesia you simply CAN´T ! So you should go no matter what you do with somebody else. You will need help !! "
After anesthesia, the worst thing for me was a really really dry throat. PSA make sure you get an overnight stay at the hospital if you're going through a tough surgery! It's really important because anesthesia is super draining and takes a toll on your body and you need medical supervision.

Would I do the surgery again? I'm not actually sure. I think the few moments right before my surgery I was really worried because while in US there's a huge insurance policy and payout if something bad happens, Korea doesn't really offer the same security and the huge language barrier for trying to sue is difficult. If money wasn't an issue for me, I'd definitely consider a plastic surgeon in California rather than travel to Korea. Luckily for me nothing bad happened, and I like the results, but if something went wrong like a botched surgery I would be so devastated.

  4. "So count on many difficulties everywhere- People are great indeed but you will feel like lost- No menus in English, nothing in English." THIS. It was a lot harder for me going around eating in Korea because all the menus were in Korean. No one really knew how to speak English, so I had to rely on pictures to order all my food. The supermarket was my haven, so I could make make my own food (because Korean food does get sickening quickly for me); the fruit are soooo expensive. On the days I was shopping, one big watermelon ranged from 18 to 24 dollars, peaches were 2-3 dollars each, seeded wild grapes were like 7 dollars a pound.
"Plastic surgeons don´t speak English- So communication problems and it will not be very clear what you will get and above all for how long will it last. If you go to one clinic they suggest you one procedure and if you go to another one they refuse the previous procedure- Expect this!"
For clinic I went to, the consultants spoke wonderful English because they apparently lived in the United States for an extended period of time (but I think consultants come and go so maybe I got lucky). My plastic surgeon actually spoke some English as well.

  5. I was able to recover after the 4th day, and I walked around my hotel and also went outside for a bit on the 4th day. 8 days later, nothing hurts (nipples feel a bit sore). Swelling is still in the nose, but apparently I won't get the full result until a couple of months later. My undereyes got super bruised after surgery, and I still have a bit of yellow under each of my eyes, but that can be easily masked with some concealer.
I've had two visits to View after my surgery. The first time, they checked my breasts and took out the stuff clogging my nose. The second time, they fitted me for a new bra and took out the stitches in my nose (that hurt, I started crying, but at least it didn't take too long). I also got went to floor 14, the dermatology floor, where they pampered my nose with a nose mask and then some kind of nose treatment (this was apparently included in the costs of the procedure.
The consultants there can speak english really well (I asked how some of them learned english, and the ones I asked said that they learned from studying in the US). They were able to translate any questions you wanted to ask the doctors. I really liked my consultant Jessica, but apparently she's leaving soon because she's only here for a gap year.

  6. So in conclusion for my breasts I got 255cc Mentor implants, and for my nose I got rhinoplasty with alar reduction and I'm pretty sure I also got my nose bone broken and squished in. I'll also note that I can now breathe a lot better for some weird reason, even though my nose is smaller?
For my doctors, I went to Dr. Dong Chan Lee for rhinoplasty and Dr. Choi for breasts. I really liked both of them, they were both super nice and didn't try to push any other surgeries on me.
For debating the price of the surgery, I was surprised at how easy it was because I've heard on this blog that when some people put down a deposit, the clinic tries to raise the price of the surgery because they know you're into them and they want more money. The cost of the surgery ended up being the same discussed online. (I got a 20% reduction because the surgeries were together). It might be because I paid a decent amount of money, as I'm a foreigner, but I'd rather spend a little more money then risk my life or risk having to fix my nose or breasts again. I just wanted it to be perfect the first time. And looking at my nose/breasts after day eight, I don't think I'm going to redo either procedure, because I'm pretty satisfied with the results.

  7. After that night, I went home after they fitted me into a weird bra and gave me pills to take. I think it ended up being like 10 pills a day (filtered into morning, evening, and night). The first few days I was so thankful I was eating them because they helped me not feel awful, but now I'm still eating them even though I feel completely fine. We arranged for another visit two days later, where they cleaned my nose up and made it so I could breathe out of my nose (that really helped too, because the first few days they clog up your nose and your nose continually bleeds, or maybe that's just me lol). My nose was in a cast for seven days, and on the seventh day they finally removed the cast. When I initially looked at my nose, I was kind of scared because I was like "oh shoot, now my friends will definitely know I had a nose job and I can't hide my procedure" but overall I was happy with my nose. For my breasts, I got FDA approved Mentor implants. I originally was going to go with Allegan teardrop implants but the doctor told me that there was a higher rate of capsular contracture with Allergan because of some kind of double thing they had? The doctor was really against Allergan and it kind of scared me so I picked Mentor instead. I would advise anyone else thinking about breast implants to get FDA approved ones because after all they are foreign objects that are staying in your breasts for a long time, and you want to be as safe as possible. I ended up getting 255cc because I didn't want them too big, just big enough so that I could feel normal and girly. I'm not sure what my cup size is now, but I'm definitely happy with the results. If anyone is wondering, I did get it under the muscle. The whole surgery for breasts took under an hour, while the surgery for nose was a lot longer (maybe two hours?).

  8. I was also super scared that I would die from anesthesia or wake up from anesthesia mid-surgery (maybe watched too many scary Shane Dawson videos lol). This was actually one of the reasons I picked View, because View stated that there had been no medical accidents within the past thirteen years. They proudly showcased that as well because every consultant had a pin saying "No medical accidents" or something like that. When they injected me with anesthesia, I felt like I was breathing it in but it was through the veins. Then I woke up groggily, with an awful dry feeling in my throat. The nurses helped lead me to the recovery room, where I stayed the night. I think the worst part of the surgery was my throat being so damn dry. I would wake up constantly and my throat would be insanely dry, and no matter how much water I drank I was dehydrated. The night I stayed at the hospital was otherwise painless, and the nurse came to visit super constantly, emptying the blood that filtered into a plastic thingy, and also giving me pain medication and replacing the IV bag. She didn't understand english except for a couple of key terms, but I was so grateful for her.

  9. Sorry guys, I've gotten lazy with posting . Well, my skin still sucks, but yeah I got the surgery. The past couple days I've been pretty tired and recovering from the surgery, and plus my nose was in a cast. Overall, I'm pretty happy with View. It was a bigger place then I expected (15 stories!), I didn't get that factory vibe from it. When I came in for the consultation, it wasn't rushed at all and I saw a few other people there (mostly Korean, but some from China. Everyone I saw was from an Asian descent). Anyways, I paid my deposit online back when I was in America, because I was only going to be in Korea for a limited time and I wanted to make sure I had a slot for surgery. View actually picked me up from the airport and sent me and my mom to our hotel (the driver was pretty kind and I liked his purple hat that said "Stay Viewtiful" or something like that). At the clinic, we did an ultrasound check for breasts, blood tests, checked weight for anesthesia, EKG test, and a few other routine procedures (I think X-ray also). The day before the surgery was really rough on me, because suddenly I kind of was regretting wanting to get plastic surgery. After all, I was born with a working nose and body, and it felt like I was rejecting the nose my parents have given me. But I already paid everything and I ended up going through with the surgery.

  10. Hi guys! Since you all helped me so much with choosing which clinic to go to, I decided to create a thread about my upcoming plastic surgery at the View Clinic. As I stated in other posts, I considered so many clinics, some being Me Clinic, JK, Wonjin, Cinderella, Dream, and the Line. Ultimately, I decided put down my deposit with the View clinic because although it was at a higher price than some of the other clinics I was considering, I liked the look for the before and afters and also I liked that they hadn't had any medical accidents for thirteen years (maybe it's higher, I forget) because I really don't feel like dying in two days. Also the reviews on the View have been generally favorable. I'm also going to put up some pictures of my nose before and hopefully after, as well as my breasts before and after. Sorry it's so close up, I'm a little cautious because I don't want to give away my identity.
My nose as you will see is currently very bulbous so I'm getting rhinoplasty with alar reduction. My breasts are pretty much nonexistent (you've probably had mosquito bites larger than my breasts let's be honest), I think they are AA size or less. I'm really really nervous to see what will happen to me because I've lived with my nose and boobs for so long and in three days they'll be forever altered!
The reason I'm getting plastic surgery is because my nose is way too large for my facial structure, which a lot of my asian relatives have told me endlessly. Also, I really want to have bigger boobs than any guys I date in the future, and currently any remotely chubby guy with a little bit of moobs probably has the same amount of breast tissue as me. So here I am getting plastic surgery on the 20th!
If you guys have any questions feel free to ask because I've asked so many questions on the forum!
Also I forgot to mention this, but I'm getting Allergan tear drop shape implants because they're FDA approved and I like the shape.

  11. I mean my nose is really distinct so it would be really easy to tell any change imo, so in that way at least to me it's "obvious". But I just hope someone looking at me for the first time wouldn't be able to tell I had any plastic surgery done because I still haven't figured out whether to say "yeah I've done plastic surgery" or lie and say "no I'm all natural". I hope no one asks because it's kinda rude but it's kind of making me never want to see my relatives in China ever again because they always tell me I look fatter than before (even though by American standards I'm at a healthy BMI and a size 4). I can just imagine what they'd say if they noticed I got plastic surgery.... thinking about it makes me determined never to go back there again.

  12. I was really interested in them too especially after checking out their facebook but when I asked a similar question on PurseForum I was told that they are mostly known for their dermatology unit (which you can tell from their website, plastic surgery is just a side option). This combined with the lack of pictures for before and after made me reconsider them and ultimately put my deposit for another clinic even though RIP bank account.
From your picture I think that you look beautiful (I love your hair!!!) and with a natural looking rhinoplasty it'd definitely make your side profile even better.
I'm not sure what clinics to recommend you though at a decent price; nothing I found really matches the price of ME Clinic. I heard positive things about April31, JK Plastic Surgery, Dream, Cinderella etc. but they're really expensive for the surgeries I wanted to get (breast and rhinoplasty). I ended up choosing the View because it was a pretty reasonable price with decent reviews and I saw their results on the show "Let Me In" and I really liked that. I was going to go with GNG but after all those apparent "fake" reviews I decided against it; although apparently they offer up to 50% discount if you write a fake review so that might make surgery cheaper lol. I was also considering MVP and the Line but I guess I just went with my gut. I have surgery in a couple days so wish me luck!!!

  13. Hi all! I am going to Korea in a few days and am going to be staying there for two weeks for breast augmentation and nose surgery. I was wondering for those after surgery, if they went sightseeing or if they stayed around in their apartments. I know that of course the first few days you have to be in bed, recovery, but after five days or so can you just put on a face mask and go explore Korea? Asking because this is my first time I will be visiting. Also if you can go sightseeing is there any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
