Having been a long time lurker of this forum I also wanted to put my two cents in about my ps surgery experience as of late.
As the title stated I'm no stranger to plastic surgery as I've previously had non-incisional DES, ptosis, and epi done in the US as well as placement of a small button chin implant. I had my first DES over 7 years ago and initially I was happy with my result but over the years the height of my crease decreased and wasn't where I wanted it to be. Additionally, I increasingly felt that my eyes were tired and dull looking so I wanted to get a revision. As for my face, I wanted to have more dimension (hence the chin implant). I've always been partial to high cheekbones so I knew I didn't want to do a cheekbone reduction. As a matter of fact, I was hoping that getting v-line surgery would in effect help bring out my cheekbones. I am a huge proponent of going to doctors who specialize and I knew the look that I want to attain is somewhat different from the Korean norm. I consulted with various clinics through Misooda, DFK, and directly before deciding on View through Misooda because they were able to provide me with a decent price and overall they're just very responsive which made me feel very comfortable. Of course, alternatively I would have to write a review on their website but I was okay with this as I wanted to document my ps journey for myself anyway and if I can help others in the process then that's just the icing on the cake! I chose View after having seen many positive reviews on here and results from their social media pages. I felt that they would be the best clinic to help me achieve my aesthetic goals.
This is right. They don't generally provide services to their clients but some clinics do require people from Misooda to show up for consults which I guess was my case. The point I was trying to make is that they really care for their clients.
Personally for myself, I didn't feel comfortable consulting by myself as I know a lot of times clinics aren't as transparent with their prices to foreigners. I knew someone who used Misooda and was able to get a pretty affordable quote so I decided to try. The quote that I received was within my budget as compared to quotes I received from dfk or other third party services so I decided to go with them.
Yasss girl! Definitely recommend Misooda. I had my surgery in Korea through Misooda a lil over 2 weeks ago and I'm so glad I did. They were there with me every step of the way which is especially important for me because it was my first time in Korea and I don't speak a lick of Korean. They helped me coordinate everything from transportation to and from the clinic for my follow up appointments to purchasing food for my housemate after her surgery.
Hi everyone I am new to this forum though I've been stalking it for the past few weeks. I am planning on going to Korea for eyelid revision and facial contouring in November 2018 (hmu if anyone is also going at the same time So far, I've been in contact with DocFinder which I'm still unsure is really necessary at this point. I am only considering it because I don't speak any Korean and am worried about traveling within the country. Through DocFinder, I was recommended 5 clinics: Banobagi, View, JK, Cinderella, and ID. The prices for these clinics for all the procedures that I am looking at are pretty steep. The cheapest being ID though I've heard and seen terrible botched jobs from them. I am only considering Banobagi and View of the clinics DocFinder recommended. Then I came across Let Me In Thailand and was really impressed with Dream. I feel that results on video are hard to fabricate and manipulate than mere pictures on websites. I scoured this forum for any information on Dream and only found a few reviews - some good and bad. Having lurked this forum for a few weeks, I realize that I need to take every review with a grain of salt (i.e., every clinic will have good and bad reviews). Unfortunately, DocFinder is not affiliated with Dream citing that they "only work with the safest and most prestigious clinics in Korea that have excellent surgery results, good service, long history, and high satisfaction rates". I am not sure what to make of that. Can anyone shed light on this? Is Dream not as safe?
I was thinking the same thing! I want to get eyelid revision surgery and facial contouring done. I really like Dr. Park from Dream for my eyes but am contemplating having FC done at Dream. I haven't seen much experience in this area on this forum. Of course pricing is also a factor. That is why I'm considering The Face Dental for my FC. I'm just unsure what to do at this point.
Wow your result is amazing! I'm also interested in Dr. Park after watching Let Me In Thailand as the eye shapes that he creates are what I hope to achieve. Do you mind sharing how much it costed you? I can't seem to find much information about Dream in terms of cost. Thanks!
Anyone know anything about Dream for eyelid revision? I saw them on Let Me In Thailand and was very impressed with the results albeit the contestants were getting eyelid surgery for the first time. Please let me know!
Hi everyone I am new here. I am planning on going for facial contouring and eyelid revision surgeries in November of this year. I've spoken to DocFinder and was given quotes for Banobagi, ID, JK, Cinderella, and View. After checking out the results and comparing prices I am unsatisfied with all of them. I am now looking more into Dream as the results from Let Me In Thailand really impressed me. Does anyone know the general prices for Dream?
