Do not go via Docfinderkorea or any kind of the agent whereever they've got the accredited by the ministry of health welfare of Korea. I do not trust them. I heard and read some reviews about the agency like Misooda , Docfinderkorea, or others, they get 20%~30% commission from total costs of how much you spent money. That's why I searched, contacted directly to the clinics not through agencies. From my research and result from my auntie, might big and well-known clinic is good but you can try to find where the locals mostly go for the surgery rather than size of the clinics or advertised by themselves, or through agency.
Hi claydough1970s,
My review is not a promo as I paid KRW 9mil for my lower body lipo (not calves) as I remember. I really enjoyed to talk with PBC. Doctor was very professional than any other surgeons, all the staff in PBC were super nice especially, the nurses!
My friend of work, is planning for her lipo in October with PBC
I have not done tummy tuck, but had lipo at PBC few years ago. You should looking for a clinic where they are specialized in body surgery. What about face-to-face consult with several clinics and you will see who know well about the procedure?
Hi,
I also had some concerns of sleep anesthesia before surgery. I was so afraid that I woke up during the operation. But my consultant, translator, and doctor made me feel more relieved. You know what! When I woke up from the surgery, I was already in the recovery room !!! That was super amazing! For my case, I had my lower body lipo at Pretty Body Clinic, and they used Traditional technique but they also called L4 something. That was pain but not pain as I expected. Just like muscle pain as my translator described about the pain.
I love the time at Pretty Body rather than LaPrin, but some people like Laprin, some dnt unless you had a chat with them face-to-face.
I am pretty sure you will find a good clinic for your liposuction as me and @bootyfulgirl.
You can have a consultation with those clinics face-to-face! You will know which clinic is more attractive
I had a consult in Laprin they knew what they are doing.
But personally, I've seen the result with my eyes from my auntie so I decided to do my lower body lipo where she underwent
Good luck with your consultation and procedure
hi, 2 weeks staying in Korea for consultations and surgery, checkup would be more than enough
If you have lots tme to spending in Korea before or after surgery, you should hang around Seoul or Busan, and Jeju!
Hi, I had my lower body Liposuction few years ago in Korea !
The clinic I went were only famous for the Locals as Liposuction or body fat transfer surgery that time.
Me and my auntie really love our results
I am sure you will loooove Seoul even it was an unexpected trip!!
Have you talked to the doctor in U.S who did filler injection to you?
I also, recommend Toxinfill, but not sure they can remove it or not but you can try to talk to them!
Hi, Lomelome,
I had my lower body liposuction last year in Korea. The clinic was not well-know for foreigners but very popular in Locals.
The clinic I went for my lower body liposuction was recommended by my auntie who did her Breast surgery and belly liposuction.
I like all the staff (nurses, consultants, translator, and doctors) were very friendly like sister and brother!
Also, my surgeon was Dr.Jung (Head doctor of PBC), he explained to me so well and know what exactly I want to have from Liposuction not only skinny.
For my case, I had no side effect but some numbness on surgery area for three months.
You can have online consultation but I sugguest to visit several clinics for face-to-face consultation so that you will get some information about their surgery plan, method, etc
You should check whether the doctors are specialised in Liposuction, experience (= technique) rather than advertising!
There are soooo many advertisement all over the internet and everywhere so you need to be careful of that !
Better to have a face-to-face consultation to see and listen what the surgeons thought about your body.
Hi, justin.t, Hope you can find a good hospital for obese surgery in Korea.
Have you tried to take some diet pills ? Even I had liposuction but want to lose more weight so I took some diet pills from the clinic where I underwent my surgery.(not often, just took pills when I ate too much ).
Hope you can find a good hospital for your gastric surgery cross fingers for you !
Even they said that, I think you better to have a f2f consultation first. I also agree with sabear44, they will find a slot for you anyway while you are in Korea!
Do not worry too much. And do not pick any clinic without f2f consultation !
Good luck with your journey~
Hi
From my research, JK is the most expensive PS in Korea. I only had seeking for Liposuction but JK was the most expensive PS I have researched. May I ask which part of body are you interesting and which area did they quote to you? It seems not for full body..
Hi
I think there are no limit to exchange the CAD to KRW in bank or exchange place, Korea.
I paid my surgery fees with three methods: Bank transfer + Cash - USD$ & KRW, and then rest of the amount, I paid in Credit card.
Most of the PS/clinics will accept any currency. If not, then you can ask them whether CAD is acceptable or not.
Pretty Body (PBC) is quite famous in Koreans for Lipo, fat transfer, and also, lifting and eyes. I had consult with Angelina last year for my lipo and she told me that she moved to PBC followed her doctor (Dr.Choi - the face, eyes, lifting doctor). I guess PBC is also very wellknown for face surgery in Korean as well.
seoul queen PS?
