i had my nose rev at namu too and i totally agree with you abt doc juong)I'm 3 weeks post op and like u, I'm liking my new nose too.

 

Hey guys, today is my day 10 post op and i could say tht the swelling has gone down a little more. Went to tfd today for my last deswelling treatment and check up w doctor lee. He cleaned up the inside of my mouth and asked him if he could show me The bone that was cut as i was curious to see it he showed it to me plus the buccal fat that was removed and was also told that i was given free botox during the op to relax the muscles on my jaw i was touched by his gesture coz i didnt expect that and that also proved that they really want u to achieve your desired look and theyre just not after your money.
Since day 1 i never felt any numbness but tightness around the operated area and doc lee assured me it was normal tho i wasnt really worriedand he said it will be back to normal in about 2 months so i just gotta be patient.
So far i could see the vshape now of my face unlike before where my face was really wide.i know it will take awhile before i could see the final result but thats ok so long as i get there haha.
If u ask me if i would recommend TFD id say YES! Doc lee is very good at what he does and his staff are professional.my overall experience with them is pleasant and im really glad i went w them coz ive been taken care of by skilled and qualified professionals.
Ps.ive asked doc lee abt my xrays to see my befores and afters and here they are

I didnt eat like 2 days after surgery and til now eating is still a struggleas its really hard to open your mouth let alone chew.but its getting better everyday. So far i can only eat noodles and rice

So yeah, i had my vline surgery done on tuesday at 10am.
I arrived at 9:30 and the consultant prepped me right away then had me signed all the necessary papers for the op.after that i waited for awhile and doc lee came in.we reviewed all the details we talked abt during consult and then its time.i was kinda nervous but doc assurred e thats theres nothing to worry abt. I know hes telling me the truth so i relaxed.
I met doc kim the anesthesiologist in the op room and he asked me some questions while the nurses are bz trying to link those machines to me haha.doc kim told me to inhale/exhale slowly and after a couple of seconds i was already out. Woke up by the nurses voices and feeling so dizzy they took me to my room at the fifth floor.i felt a bit of pain on my jaw but it was bearable but i couldnt talk.doc kim came by later again to check on me and asked if i was sleepy and dizzy which i nodded.he said that its alright and that its gonna pass.i kept dozing off but the nurse kept me awake.doc lee came and told me everything was good and what i was experiencing was normal.after reminding me of the things i need to do he said goodnight.
That night was hard as i dont know how to sleep with my face super swollen already.not sure how i did it but i survived the night.i just remember counting the time until it was morning.nurse came to clean my nose and led me to second floor to get another xray.and doc lee came again to check on me and when he was sure i was good he told that i can now go home.
Today, i am 3 days post op and theres really nothing much to tell as i am still super swollen i barely recognize myself anymore haha.couldnt wait for the swelling to subside and see my new face shape☺️But eventho im swollen i could see the changes already and im liking it! I just couldnt post pix yet as im waiting for the swelling to go down first. But so far im so happy while still waiting for the final result as doc lee assurred me that everything went well.and i trust him.

 

My consult with doc lee was clear and thorough as he explained everything in detail as he speaks english well.and hes always available online incase u have questions.goodluck on your planned surg☺️☺️

 

Have u gone f2f with both?if u feel like namus aesthetic sense and yours align then i guess youre good.u shld always trust your gut

 

I actually didnt consult with namu for tfd altho they did try to “sell” me their fc but i was so set at tfd after meeting doc lee in person and thats before i went to namu for nose consult.i just felt so comfortable with doc lee.

 

He said sagging cant be avoided esp if too much bone was cut as it supports the tissue so he rec acculift or buccal fat removal and i chose the latter.
Yep went to uvom and namu for consult too but thats for rev rhino and i chose namu.doc was good but had to translate almost everything in english by Linda.he looked tired and sleepy toobut answered most of my questions

 

today was my face to face consultation with doc Lee at The Face Dental for vline surgery.ive booked a consult with him a couple of months prior through online messaging after reading threads abt their clinic. Actually i was late for our appoinment as i was coming from another consult for my nose. Upon entering i was greeted by the friendly staff and was asked to be seated which gave me the time to look around while getting comfy.its a nice mid sized clinic simply decorated and unpretentious.id say i like the vibe of the clinic.

had to do ct scan too before seeing the doc. Didnt have to wait too long and then i met doctor Lee.a very charming, unassuming and funny doc imo.we talked abt the procedure,my issues, what hes gonna do etc and has been honest when i asked abt sagging.he said im gonna have a traditional vline as that was best fitted in my case.and everything we talked abt we already had that during online consult so we moved on to the surgery which is gonna be this tuesday. Once i was done with doc Lee he called his assistant which i forgot to ask the name for the details of surgery etc and then i paid my deposit. Will have blood tests and ekg on monday.
Overall, i felt comfortable and confident with Dr.lee even during the online consult that i didnt bother inquiring other clinics after. And meeting and consulting with him in person made me sure abt the clinic and him even more.
Ill update this thread once im done with the procedure on tuesday.i can say that i am a bit nervous but my excitement is taking over and im hoping for the best.☺️☺️

i can relate much as im supposed to have those 2 surgeries a week apart since they will be done in 2 diff clinics but before deciding then, i asked the doc first and he said a week apart is good enuff

Should it say board certified on his credentials?as i didnt see anyi was told my surg would be under local sedation so i honestly dont know if it will be by doc Chang himself or by anesthesiologistbut yeah their price seems reasonable

I was quoted 6500 usd for rev rhino using rib cartillage...
Is he not really board certified?how do u know?coz if its true im gonna cancel my f2f consult with him...
