Hi, I am 25 years old and I live in Japan but I am Chinese. I had surgery 1 year ago, so I am sure that already recover my eyes and nose. I hope it helps you guys who are interested in the plastic surgery or who’s been thru the surgeries and in the recovery period with so much of worries.
I've heard I look like squirrel (not a cute squirrel haha) since I was a kid. It makes me hurt and ruin my childhood….. My face was small. but Cheek bones were uneven, eyes and nose were not in balance. I’m not sure if you can get it what I meant. I felt when I grow up, I will have to do plastic surgery as soon as I get a job.
In conclusion, I had surgeries in Seoul(Opera): eyes(simple non-incision double eyelids), nose(bridge augmentation)
1 Month
NOSE&EYES: Swelling on my eyes and nose almost disappeared and looked fine in eyes. I don’t want super big like western people eyes because super big eyes don’t fit in my Asian face . So I requested naturally baby style eyes(?). During the recovery I thought it was a nice choice to have nose and eyes done together cuz when I did cooling, the pack covered the swelling of nose and eyes together. It was so convenient.
+ I heard that pumpkin juice is good for relieving swelling, so I ate 2 pumpkin juice a day.
2-3 Months.
NOSE&EYES: They settled down perfectly I think. They looked so nice and super natural. The upper eyefolds became thinner and no sign of tiny hole scar. The nose became smaller without swelling and I really really like it. I never want the obvious shape and unnatural shape resulting from plastic surgeries but just enough change to fix my old problems; small eyes, low nose.
POST 3 months: I started to hear that I look pretty for the first times in my life…last 3 months weren’t easy, to be honest but it was worthy. My personality is also changed in better way and lately I take pictures of my face including upperbody a lot and upload them on facebook and insta. Part of my habbit now.
6 Months
Half a year. I could say no sign of swelling. I even lost weight since I went thru above recoveries. I avoided salty and spicy food for 3-4 months specially for facial contouring and tried to eat healthy food to reduce the swelling fast. My eyes and nose became more natural.
10 Months.
I can’t expect more outcomes. Everything was fine. New shape of my face gave feminine look(?) I mean I don’t look tough anymore but soft. I’m fully recovered. I’m grateful that I didn’t experience any major post symptoms of the plastic surgeries. I’m perfectly healthy and pretty. I thank my surgeon/clinic and I’m grateful for everything. Specially, I have a boyfriend after plastic surgery, and I will live a wonderful life with confidence. Thank you!
Thank you for adding something about Opera. Good to know about dr.Kwon. I read reviews about him but I didn't know that he's that much fluent in English which I like it because communication matters to make them really understand what is my goal. Did you go somewhere besides Opera and Namu? Oh, You mentioned View too. Are there more clinic you had visited?
I received b/a photos from them and they looked good, actually. They were not tons of photos but she said that she could show more when I actually visit them so I kind of waiting to check out for myself.

I have been talking to the consultant about my trip days and decided to go after korean winter. Feb seems too tight for me to plan everything and from what I was told, the clinic is closed on 4th to 6th
More photos and they are selfies. I was about to ask you for that but thank you for sharing. I'm actually trying to purchase a ticket and finally going to seoul for my ps and just found out that there are holidays in Feb. I read that holidays season is always busy and crowded with locals.. well you said you live in Korea, do you think it is okay to visit in Feb or better to avoid that month?
Yes it is hard to chose based on words and threads here. Just find clinic's reputation and names here and meet them in person and this is what I plan to do so
The tip plasty above looks great. Wish your turns out great too! Whose is your surgeon for the rhino? I think they have more than one rhino plasty surgeon. Also, did you have to pay extra for booking a surgery in advance?
@pinkplum523a Can you share the surgeon's name?
Good luck to you, @TokyoGyaru. What kinds of rhino did you book with Opera? Is it hump like this thread?
Great Result. I personally think your frontal view improved a lot. Hump is just removing it but the tip in the front view...wow! Wish my bulbous nose tip can be smaller like yours. I'm Asian but have round tip like rudolph
@lucylalalulu5 How is your recovery going? I heard that nose keeps changing even after 6th month? I'm researching rhino downtime and when all the swelling subside so I can decide when can I take the op. Also, do you think opera has many Asian patients too? My nose has hump and bulbous tip but not flat.
Hello, @ljydia. I also understand that you must be worried as it is your revisional surgery but trust me my eyes were worse when I took my first blepharoplasty (in Thai) My swelling was worse and corner of my eyeball were red and red. I took 6 months to fully recovered but now I'm happy with the folds. Well, of course, I don't fully understand your condition but to me the second photo is not bad... I will wait together till all the swelling subside. Wish the best for you
It's been a year since I had plastic surgery in Opera (Eyes&nose) +photo
